The village was in chaos. Nobody even knew who was dead or alive. Shiori knew the Steward Kazekage still lived, but the fate of so many others was still unknown. She could undo this tragedy and she had to try. At the pinnacle of strength she could have easily reversed their fates but in her presently recovering state nothing would come back complete. She had heard rumors of a cavern that housed a great many flowers, plants and creatures. Sunagakure was located at the site of Barynx's fall, his taint pervaded and a blight was created that plagued the generation that preceded this one and heralded to Plague Wars.
The concept of the destructive force of the taint was foreign to Shiori but humans were insanely powerful in their own way. An ancient manipulated the elements but they did not create. They were the personification of elemental energies, humans were creations created by their parents. The great builders and makers. If she lacked the power of her own accord, she would have to work like a human. The unknown resources found within the cavern and those undiscovered wonders might be what they needed.
She could have done this alone, but she did not have to. The old Medical Sennin had been gone for some time, was it death or disease or simple absenteeism? She did not care. She went to the medical Sennin's tent and took from it a sheet of stationary. She only needed one, perhaps two for good measure. She made idle chit-chat as she slipped a small stack of papers into her purse and with a pleasant nod and a smile she backed away.</FONTFACE>
