Kazu and his new found puppy Mochi make their way to the Susukino District in order to find themselves a meal for the night. Kazu tucks Mochi in the hood of his cloak before entering the more populated parts of the district, "lets just put you in here, it will be safer this way". Kazu walks for a while looking at the different food vendors and wondering what he would like tonight, he pauses in front of a smaller shop with a sign outside that says "hot fresh Ramen"
"you can't really go wrong with ramen!" Kazu says. As Kazu steps inside he is met with a wonderful aroma of the different ingredients, broth, chicken, pork, and eggs his mouth begins to water at the thought. As Kazu sits down at one of the stools an older man asks "what would you like to eat young man!" Kazu caught off guard by the man's animated personality shyly asks "Can I have some pork ramen with some extra pork on the side?" the man looks to Kazu with a raised eyebrow "you want extra pork -on the side-?"
Kazu looking a little intimidated says "y-yes it- it's for" *bark* a bark interrupts Kazu mid-sentence as Mochi happy sticks his face out of the hood and manages to drape himself over Kazu's head and just looks at the man behind the counter. The man gets right up to Mochi's face and seems like he is about to say something but is stopped by a little happy bark and a lick to the face from Mochi, the man looks a little shocked but his face turns to a happy smile and he begins to let out a deep hearty laughter "HAHA, well yes I do think you would need some extra pork to be able to feed this little guy!". The man turns around and starts to prepare a bowl or ramen for Kazu. The man soon turns around with the same big old smile still on his face and sets the bowl in front of Kazu and then sets a smaller plate piled high with grilled pork in front of Mochi. Kazu pays the generous man as Kazu and Mochi dig into their wonderful meal.
