Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

***~~~---Day 1 - Genin Chronicles---~~~***

<B>Sound, confusion, gun powder. These were all he could think of when the gun went off. There were two dozen or so Genin graduates here taking part in a race, they had each been given a map and had to find specific items along the route. The sound and smell of the starting gun however were so foreign to Shiroike who hadn't taken part in any activities like this before and so he was almost dazed by them. Other genin however ignored these things and raced off, some used jutsu to hinder the other genin and give themselves the advantage which might make all the difference at the end of the race.

Getting over his initial confusion he began to move, pulling out his map and then heading along the suggested route to get to the first point. The first point would give him another piece of the map, but they had been told that they would have to find it once they arrived. Shiroike was already lagging behind and so he hoped that it would be in that challenge that he might be able to catch up to the others.

The day was sunny and warm, though they were racing outside the village and so the massive trees blocked much of the suns heat. His feet hit the dirt and he smiled. In the sunlight it was too bright for him to remove his sunglasses, the light hurt his eyes, and spending too much time in the sun burned his skin so the shade of the trees were beneficial to him. He could even remove his sunglasses in the forest. Avoiding the patches of light which shone through the trees he moved quickly and silently. Putting into practice the skills which he'd been taught in the classroom.

He arrived at the first point but remained in the trees, looking for anything from on high which might give away the location of the next map. They would be wanting to test their shinobi abilities, after all this was the point of the exercise. Looking about he wondered what the first test would be. Going from place to place would be testing their ability to follow orders and speed, so this would likely be testing something else. Spotting a small patch of recently disturbed earth he felt that they were likely testing their powers of observation. It was however in the sun and so he placed on his sunglasses. Moving to the spot he checked the surrounding area for any traps in case they were also testing that and disarmed a basic trip wire. Clearly this was also part of observation. Feeling a bit more confident he began digging up the spot and found the second part of the map.

The map told him to go further into the forest to find the next section, so he did. The forest was getting thicker and under the thicker layer of leaves above him there was only enough light to see where he was going. He leapt from branch to branch, the cool air on his skin felt refreshing, but he felt at unease, like he was being watched. Perhaps this was the next part of the test?
