Return from the walk

Head in hand he returned to the village. Not his own head in his hand like some Greek thinker, but Daishi's head like some barbarian warrior. The ANBU traditionally stationed at the gate came out silently, confusion on their faces hidden behind their masks. What had Isaki Kushin been up to this time, and why was he bringing back a head. He usually returned with nothing but a satchel of scrolls holding internal organs.

One of them ran inside, grabbing a poster that hung on the wall, tearing it from the nails which held it he returned and pointed at the head then at the poster.

Daishi was recognized. Isaki Kushin had killed him.

Yet he walked at his usual pace, not caring about any rush to announce the death of the killer Daishi. Kushin only returned with his head for two reasons. So that it would be confirmed. And so that the Hoshikage could realize that perhaps she didn't have as good an idea on the ability of Cloud Shinobi as she liked to think.

"Ah! My dear uncle!" She shouted from the slightly opened gates behind her with her uncle Kushin in front of her.
"I see you've got yourself a traveling buddy with you!" She said as she walked up towards him, pointing at the head in his hands.

As she approached him she merely inspected him with her eyes scanning across his body, his face, eyes and stature. Making sure it indeed was her uncle standing in front of her.
After a minute or two she stopped up, stood up and closed her eyes as she indicated the gates behind her over her shoulder with a closed fist and her thumb.
"Go ahead in, let em' know of the news." She said with a slight grin on her lips.

When Kushin would pass her she would turn around and follow him along as he would walk in.

He gave a nod to her question, he recognized her of course. Family was important to him. He wouldn't let anyone know that of course, that might give someone the stupid idea that they could target his family to get some kind of revenge on him, or get him to do something.

He didn't put up much of a fight. Was all he said lifting the frozen features of Daishi's screaming face up to look the man in the eyes once more. Seemed to think that spamming the same technique would work. Useless.

As she turned and gave the thumbs up he entered the village and headed to Shin's office.

He would want to be made aware of this latest development.
