Tama’s green eye looked into the microscope, the reptilian slit moving around until it found a good focus on the object that was magnified through the lens.
The virus he stared down before him was an interesting little critter to say the least. It had highly resistant wall that seemed to be highly immune to almost every antigen known in Suna and the few that the scientist had developed himself through the use of his own genetics. Which only left the tests in which Tama would excel at – the chakra based ones.
Shinobi had an amazing healing factor on their side by being able to tap into their chakra coil and simply use it to cause positive energy to flow a natural cure from their core. Even those in the military that had no training could be induced to do it through specialized shinobi medication, but that was only half the cure. Not everyone in Suna could tap into their chakra coils or even had the ability to do so. There was the children too young to activate it, the elderly too old to remember how, and the burned out too…burned out. In order to cure the pandemic Tama would need a cure that would invoke the chakra coil in everything, and this included animals. Some research materials that came in yesterday proved that the virus could infect avian creatures as well as some livestock. It would be futile to cure the humans only to have the damn thing break out again…but then again they would just eventually build up an immunity which would mean the problem could solve itself given an initial cure.
Yet evidence was pointing that the virus had the capabilities to mutate with its strong form and quickly become immune to antigens. If Tama created something that only did half the job then there was the off chance it could become an even worse virus that could infect the chakra coil. While it was a hell of a business opportunity for him, the scientist decided to do for the better of man and create a cure that would fix everything. This only left what kind of styles he would use for creating a chakra cure as there was at least three different kinds to consider. Sealing Jutsu, Western Script Jutsu, or a Ninjutsu technique that could be utilized by the medical ninja; grabbing a pen and paper the medical scientist began to jot down some theories.
