Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mochizuki Saka & Soko
Twin boys were located before the fountain. They were identical, aside from the opposing flips of their hair and the roses on their breasts. The calmer of the two sat upon the rim, his right leg crossed over his left and his orange eyes scanning the area. The other was up and active, doing jumping jacks, running mini laps, and other recreational activities. Calm Saka have his brother a smile. "Soko, you're going to scare our student away with all your flailing about." Hyperactive Soko firmly placed his fists on his hips. "Yeah, well you're going to scare her off with your nonstop staring." They spoke in unison. "Fair enough." Soko plopped down beside his brother and mirrored his pose. It might seem a bit uncanny to those not accustomed to seeing twins. Saka stopped looking about so intensely, and simply let his eyes fall softly upon the street. The sun had warmed the area a bit, enabling those accustomed to the snowy village to leave home without a jacket, should they choose. The older teens awaited their appointed student.

Chiasa knelt in prayer before the statue of Aion, the person whom she personally aspired to be. With all of the events going on about Raiden this and Raiden that she felt bad for Aion. According to what she had read Aion was the right hand of Raiden. This person was so good at being an assistant, a tool, and person of trust; whatever you may call it that Aion ascended to join the heavens.

Chiasa prayed not only for Aion and wishing that they were doing well but also for herself. As selfish as she maybe her goal was to be useful. She wanted to be important enough to help her generation’s next big person. She knew in her heart that she herself would not be that great person and she accepted this with a smile. All she ever desired was to be there for someone and truly make them great.

This was her motivation for her current self and it was easily enough to get her through every day of hardship, such as this day would certainly be.

Standing up she bowed deeply to the statue of Aion and brushed her academy uniform off. She picked up her satchel of study gear and made a slightly quick mid-level jog to the fountain she was supposed to visit for her class. She had never had a class outside of the Academy before but she figured it must have something to do with being active. While her older brother had advised her to wear something more running oriented for her feet she decided not to break away from the standard Academy outfit. She needed to fit the part if she was to best perform the part.

As she made her way to the fountain she frowned a bit… “Mochizuki…Saka…and Soko. Where have I heard the name Mochizuki before…?” The name sounded both familiar and not. Maybe someone at the bed and breakfast had spoken the name and she caught it off-hand? She certainly knew that it was not someone that she had interacted with in the past.

Chiasa pulled her light jack a little tighter over herself. While it was a slightly warmer day than usual Chiasa always found herself cold. Looking around for a little while, a bit of panic on her face, she eventually noticed two boys by the fountain. “Wait…” ARE THEY TWINS!?

Chiasa felt panic hit her immediately. She tried to eat it down but her swallowing was weak…Which one was which? Oh Raiden…

She walked forward delicately, almost afraid to break the beautiful day with her unmindful presence and bowed to the two. “He…Hello. Are you two Mochizuki Saka and Soko? My name is…Chi…ahh…*Cough*…Chiasa…oh shoot, Sorry.” She took a quick moment and focused and then looked at them and gave them a small smile. Think of this as greeting them in the bed and breakfast.

“Good Morning! My name is Kaido Chiasa and I am here to take a class called…called…” She blushed and then quick fuddled with her purse and pulled out a paper. “Ahh...called Right in the Feels?” She looked at the paper for just a moment and sighed. Wow this hit home. She remembered her manners and quickly put the paper away and bowed to the two. She was nervous for way too many reasons.

Saka and Soko's hearts began to race, seemingly for no reason. Such was the life of an Empathetic. Destined to feel the emotions of those around them. The stronger the emotion, the greater the connection, and boy could they feel someone panicking. They soon found the source, or more, the source found them. A young girl approached them and gave a bow. They strained to hear her over their own beating hearts, but failed. They looked to each other with a worried smile. They knew a way to calm her down, but that would be to invade her emotions, something that was sometimes appreciated, and other times met with scorn. Should they help this girl overcome her nervousness?

Luckily the girl, introduced as Kaido Chiasa, was able to blurt out what she wanted to say. The twins gave her an encouraging smile and spoke in unison. "A pleasure Chiasa-chan!" The one with calm eyes, reminiscent of a certain other Mochizuki teacher Chiasa had met prior, placed a hand to his chest. "I am Mochizuki Saka." The other twin hopped up and placed a thumb to his chest with gusto. "And I'm Mochizuki Soko!" Saka stood as well as he addressed Chiasa again. "Please don't worry about getting us confused. It happens often, and we are quite accustomed to it." Soko crouched down as if to whisper to the student, but his voice was still rather audible. "Secretly we like it." Saka gave Soko a playful nudge. "Hey now. That was creepy."

They chuckled together before pulling their full attention back to Chiasa. "You're our only student for today. This lesson is better taught one on two." Saka motioned for Chiasa to turn around towards the crowd. "Most would think being a shinobi or kunoichi means fighting and killing." Soko chimed in. "Or healing if you become a medical shinobi." Saka continued. "But sometimes there's more to it. If you can hone your skills in just the right way, you won't have to fight." Soko gave a shrug. "Or you can at least get an edge during a mission." Saka gave a sweeping motion of his arm, showing off the various people scattered about the Susukino District. "We're going to attempt to teach you how to read people. We'll watch them move, breath, blink. Reading people, and opponents, can give you an insight that may just help you to overcome a challenge that your fists can't." Soko snickered. "Tell that to Big Sis Tama." Saka chuckled along with his brother before giving Chiasa an apologetic smile. "Sorry for the inside joke. But I'm sure you'll have to fortune of meeting our gung-ho older sister some day. She's pretty hard to miss."

Returning to the lesson, Soko took over the lecturing. He knelt on one knee and wrapped his left arm around Chiasa's shoulders. He held his palm out to the masses and swept his arm slowly from left to right. "Everyone the light touches, is our victim." The energetic lad paused for dramatic effect before snapping to his feet. "We're going to stare at people uncomfortably until we learn their inner emotions!" Saka shook his head. "Well, I don't think that far quite yet. She's not a true Empathetic." He gave Chiasa a smile. "But at least we can observe people and learn to read them. It 's important to be able to distinguish friend from foe, fear from wrath, et cetera, et cetera." They gave Chiasa a thumbs up. "You'll definitely get the hang of it. We can tell you've got some potential. We've just got to work it out of you." They moved to stand between Chiasa and the crowd and tilted their heads opposite of each other. "Do you have any questions before we begin?"
