Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

According to her very busy schedule, the secretary had shooed her away to the academy for another lesson. Between training future medics, giving check-ups, operating, presentations, and trying to balance a home life, it was easy to forget about the poor students who needed general help. This specifically one was looking for the art of cloning, which was always a fun technique. Itami was a woman of trickery and illusions. She was quick on her feet and witty in the mind--not to mention drop dead gorgeous. Itami was born blind, and when she was four years old she had an accident with fire jutsu that left her totally burned from head to toe and completely mute. The woman was recently reconstructed completely by the generous donation of skin, organs, and eyes from her dying husband who passed away on the operating table.

Now, Itami held smooth and soft white skin and had wavy luscious hair as black as night to contradict the paleness of her face. Her lips were rosy and red, and her eyes emerald green and glistening. She was 6'2", with long legs, and a perfectly toned body. Being built by a man, she was made to be the perfect eye-candy, but the downside was she didn't look very realistic. Itami was a walking and talking Barbie doll.

Moving into the classroom where the pupil was to be seated, the doctor waved to the single seated student, "Hello, my name is Doctor Kanashimi." But wait? Another exact clone stepped in and scowled at the one at the front of the class, "No, I am!" But it's not done there!

"Am I late for the lesson?" Peeked in another clone. All three moving to the front of the class, they moved simultaneously and smiled brightly with a swift synchronized bow.

"Welcome! Ready to learn?"

Shinji, after having finished his previous class, signed up for yet another class. The boy didn't hesitate as he was determined to learn faster, more efficiently and having classes with someone seemed to the boy the most efficient way to do so. Hence, Shinji was walking his class, following the instructions on his card as he asked for directions, given that he feels more comfortable having directions to follow rather than risk wasting time wandering around lost in this facility. He looked at the hallways and turned right on one then counted the doors until he thought he reached the correct room number. Shinji checked on his card the room number and pushed the door open. Upon entering, he saw a woman who looked really off for some reason the boy can't understand. Whatever it is though, he doesn't care. He only came here to learn and as he is only eleven, he doesn't care much about the other sex.He bowed to the teacher and bowed to her and sat down, noticing there were other 'students' here with him. He chose to act normal, to stay quiet and in front of the teacher's desk.

"
I am Tategawa Shinji. Pleased to meet you, sensei."

Nani too wandered the halls looking for the room the class was held. She was a small, petite and shy little girl. She wore a red dress and hugged a brown stuffed rabbit. The rabbit held the card and would point his paw to tell her which way to go. Those with a Huga’s sight would see chakra strings connecting her to her doll and thus believe she was a puppeteer, however the truth was much darker. Finally she reaches her destination. She hides behind the wall next to the entrance for she was scared of being picked on again. The little demon sealed within the stuffed animal gives her some words of encouragement, but as the sealer only she could hear its voice. She slowly peeks through the threshold and asks in a quiet voice, “Are you Kanashimi sensei?”

The male student seemed less than impressed with her trick--and completely unenthusiastic. Itami frowned, the two clones on her either side exploding into fog that dissipated in the air. "Yes yes, please, sit." Perhaps she would be having less than any fun today. She had been in an exceptionally good mood as of late.

Moving to the chalk board, she scribbled her name on the board, just as a little head popped through the door. "Oh, yes, hello, dear." Itami was fond of young girls, as they reminded her much of herself in the days of yore. Moving to the door, Itami opened it farther and pointed to the spot beside the male student. "Please, join us. What's your name?" She asked, moving back to the front of the class where she pulled down a chakra map from a scroll on the wall, laving the diagram hanging in front of them.

"Let's get started, shall we?" Itami said, pacing back and forth as she picked up a pointer-stick from the chalk rail. Point to the diagram with it, Itami looked at the two students, "Who knows which chakra location controls cloning?"

Shinji didn't mean to insult, though he also don't mean to praise. It was just that he's too focused on one goal alone, learning the ways of the shinobi. Hence, he just looked on, eyes focused on the scroll in front as another student came in. He spared her a glance, before turning his attention back to the teacher. And, when the question was raised, he looked puzzled for a moment as never was he taught any of these. Although if he was to guess, then that's just fine isn't it? Well guessing it is then. Shinji raised his hand and spoke.

"
Sahasrara. I would have to guess that such a technique require willpower and understanding to be properly executed and maintained." he answered, wondering if he was correct.

“Oh um, my name is Hatsuro Nani.” She then gives a polite bow. “And this is my friend Maho.” The stuff rabbit nods his head. She sits down next to the boy quietly. The rabbit looks at him and move his paw from his face to point at the boy. He does this twice as to say I’m watching you. Nani gives Maho a hard pat on the head. “Don’t be rude.” The rabbit then crosses his arms and stares at the board. When the teacher asks her question immediate the stuffed toy raises a paw and waves it frantically as if wanting to be picked. After the boy gives his answer Maho looks up at Nina. “Maho guesses that it is the Svadishthana for in way you are creating life.” Nina herself believes that it is the Ajna for the clone jutsu is an illusion created from one imagination; however Nani was too timid to give her own answer.

Nodding to the boy first, Itami nodded at his reasoning. A slight smile crossing her face as she pointed to the chakra point he brought up. "Sahasrara is in the part of the mind that we use for all jutsu--but we do not use the chakra point itself for cloning. Sahasara is also known as the 'Third Eye', and is use for telepathic-like jutsu. Often, this can be associated with those blessed with the powers of the Yamanaka clan." Itami nodded in approval, giving a gentle smile as she motioned to the young girl--or rather, her rabbit?

"Svadishthana." Itami looked to the diagram, using the stick to point to that point, "Funny you say that instead of Muladhara, when you mention life." Perhaps she had some interesting interpretation for Svadishthana? "Svadishthana is a very powerful point, located by the diaphragm and stomach. This is often associated with element jutsus, along with Visuddha. It's supposed to be forceful- you see?" Itami turned and wrote on the board again.
MAIN ELEMENTS OF JUTSU:
EARTH
FIRE
WATER
WIND
METAL
WOOD

"These come from the Svadishthana." She gestured, waiting a moment, had they decided to take notes. "On the contrary, Muladhara is the correct answer. It's for the creation of life--or lively things. This includes clones, animated plants, animated animals, ect." Her eyes looked over the class. "Bored yet?" She asked, moving forward to face them, her eyebrow raising slightly. "How about some kinetic learning? Would you like to go outside and give it a whirl?"

Admittedly, Shinji was extremely disappointed with himself when he found out he was wrong. For a few minutes, he tuned out his teacher and sulked a bit, being in denial for a few moments. Nevertheless, a few deep breaths later, he found himself tuning in again, taking in everything the teacher told them. And, when the teacher implied the end of lecture, a wave of excitement flooded through Shinji and, as expected of a young inexperienced boy, his chakra fluctuated, a small grin forming on his face. He nodded at her, eyes filled with joy.

Maho leans forward as to look closer to the board and notices he gave Nani the wrong name. He face palms himself and apologies to Nani. Nani simply rubs his head and tells him, “It’s alright Maho. At least you knew the answer. My guess it was not even close.” The rabbit looks at her for he was curious what her guess was. She whispers into his ear. “I thought it was Anja.” The rabbit goes into a thinker position as he considers her guess. It is true that this would not apply to an elemental clone, but an illusionary one maybe. Maho then points at the teacher trying to convince Nani to give her theory to the class, but Nani shook her head no. The teacher then asks about going outside and the other student seemed excited. Nani was just nervous for she never did a genjustu before and she did not want to make a fool out of herself.

It seemed they were more excited in the idea of getting out of the classroom and doing something. Itami nodded, waving her hand and beckoning them to follow her out a side door that lead to the courtyard. It was full of action-dummies, sand pits, and various elements to manipulate. They wouldn't need any of those things at the moment. But, maybe if they go exceptionally good today, she would teach them how to manipulate their clones into obeying their control, and attacking the dummies.

It was slightly windy outside, but the sun was beating down hard to give it a mild and warm weather. Itami turned to face them, now in the middle of the courtyard. She tapped her lower abdomen to gesture towards the chakra point. "Gather the chakra here, feel it pulse." She instructed, "Deep breaths, don't forget to breath..." She laughed, "Focus, and here are the hand seals:" She moved slowly though the hand motions, a clone appears beside her. She did it again, to show them, and another appeared on the other side. They were in sync, and moved with her every move, saying what she said right over her words, "Now, these are clones at rest. They do exactly what I do until I trigger the action set, in which you control them the same you do as a puppet--you know how to do that right?"

"Go on, try it for yourself."

Shinji couldn't control the smile he wore on his face when they went outside. This always meant application. He had always liked application than lectures. Besides, this seems like a fun thing to do, learning a new technique that is. He followed her outside and found a myriad of action dummies, sand pits and other training facilities. He really couldn't wait to utilize them all. Kanashimi-sensei gathered his attention and began teaching the technique. Careful to follow each instruction word for word, Shinji started gathering his chakra toward a chakra point and began taking deep breaths as she told them to. His eyes followed the handseals, though his hands were a bit slower than he wanted them to be, and actually messed it up a few times so he had to restart the whole process and focused his mind on creating clones. And in a puff of smoke, a malnourished clone of himself appeared. Shinji scratched his head, wondering what went wrong.

"
I think I'm more of a taijutsu person than a gen person. I think I may need more time for this tech." he told them, starting all over again, albeit, more slowly, really, really slowly.

As they come outside Maho slips out of Nani’s arms. With the lack of fingers the little doll does its best to mimic the teacher’s actions. When he finished the seals a stuffed white rabbit appears above him in a puff of smoke and falls on top of him. The brown rabbit pounds the ground with his paw as the weight of the white one press down on him. Nani could not help but give a little laugh. Though this had an appearance of a failed clone, in reality one of Nani’s toys decide to pop out of her storage scroll which she keeps in Maho’s back compartment. Nani pick up the white rabbit of Maho and look at the bunny in the eye. “Now Maha what have I told you about coming out of the scroll by yourself. You almost crush Maho.” Maho gets himself up, dusts himself off and Nani places Maha beside him.

Nani then attempts the jutsu herself. Nervously she goes through the handseal, but she forgot to breath. Poof. There was a copy her standing near to her. In excitement she cheer, “Maha, Maho I did… Maho?” Her little brown rabbit was nowhere to be found. If someone looked they would see a zipper running down the clones back with a brown bunny tail at the end of it.

[OOC: In case you didn't see my 'Away' post, this is exam week, and I want to thank you for your patience.]

The woman was basically impressed with the students. A first time for everything, with a few awkward mishaps. Shinji had gone first, and Itami raised an eyebrow at the clone. He was awkwardly bony, with orange roots in his hair, and a sickly complexion. An attempt that wasn't a complete fail, at least. Flipping a kunai into the air, Itami made a quick jump, her body turning at tremendous speed forward, as she lurched past the clone, slicing the kunai through it's chakra-based neck. The smoke filling the air again as it diminished itself. It didn't even try to fight back. A failure. Itami nodded to Shinji, "Again." She stated simply as she moved back to the front of the group to witness Nani give it a whirl. A toy appeared, again, and Itami gave a stern look to the girl. She wasn't really sure why this young ninja was still carrying around stuffed animals.

Gesturing, Itami hinted for her to hurry up and try herself. At first, the clone seemed almost flawless. Itami's eyebrows raised as she took a few steps around the creature, stopping when she got to the back. "What's this?" She asked, tugging at the zipper and scowling. "That's a new mishap." And her hand would raise to splice the failed clone as she did the other...

[OOC: Wasn't sure what your plans were for that clone. If it is a clone, proceed to have her demolish it. If it isn't...well...that's up to you.]

Nani’s clone was indeed not a clone but a puppet disguise. When Nani saw the zipper she knew exactly what the clone was and she did not want her precious rabbit to be cut open. She puppet switches with her toy and jumps away from the teacher. She was just a little slow and the Kunai grazes her arm. She winces in pain as blood was drawn. She then punches her psudo-clone and it transforms back into a stuffed rabbit. The bunny places a paw to its face and moved as if it was laughing. “That was not funny Maho. If I didn’t acted you could half been sliced in half.” Nani was a little afraid that the teacher would yell at her for Maho’s trick. However it was definitely similar to a real clone. She was able to switch with it like a real clone.

There was something peculiar about this young girl. Itami took a moment to eye her suspiciously as the small stuffed-puppet-thing laughed like a mute. The blood spilling from the young girl as Itami's face flushed, "Hatsuro-Sama." Her voice was more shocked than angry, "Please, next time, be much more careful!" Itami took her arm, using a quick healing jutsu to patch up the light wound, sighing to herself for a moment. "Please, try again." She inquired, moving to sit on the ground in front of the girl, leaning back with a curious look on her face. "You, this time, dear, not Maho-Sama."

Nani scratches the back of her head nervously. “Sorry sensei. I’m afraid keeping Maho alive is disrupting my Muladhara chakra.” This was not unusual for Nani for she discovered how to preform most of her puppet jutsus by attempting basic jutsus and ending up with something different. She once had to stich up one of her stuffed animal when she was learning how to body switch. Instead of a body switch she puppet switched and teddy got a kunai to the head. With a flick of her wrist she severs the connection between her and her doll and Maho falls to the ground lifelessly. Nani tries the jutsu again and goes through the handseals. Well it did look similar to her. The shapes were identical, but the color was off. Her color clothes and hair of her clone were completely white.
