Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was in the very early hours of the morning as the moon still hung in the sky, on the ridge overlooking the compound set up Kamaru wondered when they’d know it was time to start in their squad when a sandstorm moved out into the compound and several explosions started. Kamaru was up and moving down the small cliff embankment soon after with four shinobi in tow. The plan seemed simple, cause a distraction get spotters in place find the target, extract him and move to the extraction point. Setting up was simple, it seemed the sandstorm had tripped some sort of booby traps possibly in various areas as the sound of wooden block alarms rang in the air the option for a quiet extraction were tossed out the window, they just needed to in and on the target before they formalized their defenses.

From the initial brief it seemed the Covert Operations Organization didn’t have a way with naming themselves, what they did have was a way with bribing people to do things, nothing major but a combination of several small things. The man they were picking up, Kon Ebizo, was one of the people that seemed to be getting frequently bribed supposedly. Being in charge of the compound did have its perks if you were a corrupted military official. Between the fact he hadn’t come in for questioning and the amount of illegal smuggling being traced to being moved through the area he was assigned was a little too suspicious.

Moving to the perimeter he vaulted over the fence line in one go not touching it as he arced sideways looking around on the other side. Landing he felt the sound of four more landing behind him and moved off. He started to move towards the target and stopped and pointed up at a building before jumping towards it climbing up the side.

Kamaru pointed out several people running away from the barracks and in the throng of people he watched on guy covered in sweat moving back towards the main building a hand to his ear yelling in the confusion. Kamaru heard another explosion and saw a cart flying in the air from a distance away. One of the two assault squads ran into what originally looked like a soldier but considering what happened he definitely wasn’t. From the rooftops Kamaru molded chakra into his feet moving down the rounded roof and launched himself towards the next closest building. Kamaru had eyes on the main building they believed to have the target in and slide ducking as low to the ground as possibly before gaining back into his stride as he evaded several rain barrels tossed up as the roof. He barked out for two to stay behind and keep him busy still pressing on…

Inside the compound Ebzio wiped his brow pouring himself a drink with an unsteady hand.

”Kon, we’re out now. Gather the data.” someone explained as they barged into his office. The man nodded as the forceful guest tossed back the beverage, ”If you weren’t as greedy for those bribes you wouldn’t have screwed up the operation you already had going on under the table.” he declared his face looking at the window becoming more agitated.

”Well that just means we’re doing our job twice as fast on the cleanup then.” Kamaru admitted as he walked in.

The man still covered in sweat snarled turning profusely red as if he was being choked before he grew in height and mass. He looked similar to the man outside who had thrown full rain barrels at him like most would toss a shuriken. Kamaru realized how different he was as Ebizo was grabbed by the leg and flung like a weapon careening in the odd pattern only a human body is cable in flight.

Kamaru moved in rapidly getting low and snaking forward catching the man at the right angle as he spun back around this moving forward tossing him like a small child to the two behind him before he was moving towards the desk and the now apparent escapee moving towards the desk. Kamaru made a feint to leap over the disk causing his rival for the desk contents to flail where Kamaru should have been as he sent a charka enfused kick to the front of the desk sliding it back to the wall. Still moving on momentum he found himself on the larger man’s instep as he arms came in to bear hug Kamaru. As he did he felt the ripple of electricity fluid through his body as the elemental clone was crushed in the embrace. From the ground Kamaru latched ontot he man’s feet as electricity flooded through the man back into Kamaru as he continued to pulse lightening through him. As the man shook unable to control his body throught he spasms Kamaru waited until he flopped over. Forming Mud Clones one after the other Kamaru encased the man. Calling the assault team he moved to check the desk pulling it from the wall to get at the drawers. Someone would be called in to get the combatant and the other two subordinates had been detained as well. Kamaru pilfered all the paperwork ripping out drawers and checking them for secret compartments.

On an initial glance some of the data was off. The smuggling routes had notes on the security around the capital and Iwa village. Mention of a group called the United Void Directive in the notes made Kamaru wonder, at least they sounded more dangerous and had a better sense of naming than C.O.O. did. Kamaru noticed a not on finding out about the depth and materials for various walls which he didn’t like the sound of since it implied either repairing which wasn’t likely or blowing sections out.

It was a sunny morning back in Iwa when Kamaru walked in with the official. Two men walked up in armor and the ninjas with Kamaru locked up and stayed in position. It seemed they were there for the official for his interrogation. Kamaru mentioned that there was another team there to extract him hooking a thumb behind him at the cart with the still unconscious trio. He started to mention about the C.O.O. as they put Ebizo in shackles which they nodded to. Kamaru started to explain about the other group they had found out about and only got to ‘United V’ before the guardians looked at each other and one moved directly in front of Kamaru. He requested any evidence and took it from Kamaru. As they left with the intel, evidence, and four detained men Kamaru looked at the others with him who sighed quietly. Kamaru figured the Guardians were just like ANBU in Leaf. Concerned with security to an extreme level, as one of the guardians came back he reminded Kamaru that the other group was an unconfirmed and/or unknown group. Kamaru started to ask why he couldn’t put down who he thought the group was to which the guardian restated the statement as before. Kamaru nodded and acknowledged the statement. The man nodded curtly spinning back around mutter to have a good day. Kamaru smiled… he never had anyone in that branch in Leaf say that. Stone seemed like it was maybe a little friendlier.
