Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

In his on duty uniform, Shoma stares out into the ocean. He stands dressed in traditional ninja outfit and masked, however, it is made unique by the accessories of red shoulder paludrons, red wrist guards, red shin guards and a samurai sword at his hip. Becoming a shinobi has been a strange and uncomfortable experience for Shoma. Samurai and shinobi had different disciplines, codes of conduct, definition of honor, and battle methods. This clash could be the reason way Fire Country had fell so hard like it had. Shoma was used to training hard and consistently combat conditioning wasn't more than he could stand. But with what he had learn culturally of the ninja way, he was beginning to wonder if he was truly understanding this new way of life.

And so, Shoma stand and ponders. What would his former master have him do? Would any of the parables his old master taught him provide an answer? Maybe he just needed to talk to more shinobi and gain their wisdom on the matter. But for now, he would hold tight to what he knew. He knew combat. He knew his master's teaching of swordsmanship. He knew the bond he had formed with his sword. And he knew his instructor's final charge. "My greatest student, my last student, take my granddaughter Ava under you care. In this world full of danger, pass on my teachings, all of them as I have taught you. And protect her at all cost and serve her..." Shoma ceases to dwell on his master's final wishes for the time being.

After shaking his head, Shoma decides to ready him to practice. After all there was little to do at this gate and there was no since in letting the day waste away. Lowering his stance, he places his one hand on the handle of his sword and the other on his sheath. He stands still and pauses for a moment. He then draws out his sword very slowly to imitate a draw slash. He then slowly returns the sword to its sheath and exhales. He then peeks around and realizes that on the next part of this exercise, he needs a form of conformation. There didn't seem to be any items he could use from arould this area, nothing except the ground and the gate itself.

Shoma though for a while and stares at the ground. "What if..." he whispers taking his sword out slowly, taking great care as he does normally. Taking the sword into both hands he reflects on the stories of samurais' past, searching his mind for which samurai spirit to channel. Turning about in place counter clockwise, he stretches his sword out a bit and begins to speed up. Shoma begans to spin faster and faster until the dirt from the ground begins to lift off the ground. At this point he stands in place but continues to wave his sword to keep the minor whirlwind up. From this point he steps out of the whirlwind but continues to twirl his sword laterally to change the flow. With this achieved, Shoma then begins to back step in a circular pattern to have this phenomenon chase him.

The whirling winds that that chase after the swordsman known as Shoma begin to pick up a little more debris as it grows. Within the time of fifteen second, the man made whirlwind grows to be big enough to cover the average person. He leads the minor wind storm around for about another minute, Shoma begins to back step in a direct path. Then, after much though consideration of his next action, he makes an abrupt lunge into the whirlwind, twirling with the flow of the air current While letting the tip of his sword lead. Then, before his foot touches the ground, he sheathes his sword and upon touching the ground he whips sword out and in with great speed, enough in fact to break the barrier of sound.
!!BOW!!

With great force, the debris around Shoma is repelled from around him. After this feat, Shoma stands up straight, beginning to think about the battle application of such a feat, if there were any. Could truly be useful in a combat situation? Is there a more efficient means to perform the same action? Although, there wasn't much going on around him at the gates of the City of Stone, Shoma didn't want to waste his time with senseless fansy swordplay. Shoma would release a sigh as he rubs the handle of his sword with the fingertips of his left hands. Never before has Shoma desired for actual human activity to such a degree as he did at this particular moment.

Shoma would stare off into the distant horizon before realizing he was letting trivial things form into his mind. He shakes his head to clear his thoughts, remembering that he had just created a new technique moments ago. Closing his eyes, he meditates on the possilbe uses of this technique and potential of it. Were there more effective maneuvers that did the same thing? Was this move defensive or offensive? Had it the potential to hit multiple targets if need be? Was it fast enough to truly be effective in combat? How vulnerable was he while performing this action and how long did it take him to recover? And finally, could an opponent perceive the purpose of such a technique before it was completed?

As Shoma contemplates his new technique, he draws out his sword once again to perform it again. He aims his sword toward the ground and begins to make a stirring motion. He steadily increases the speed of the rotating motion until the dust begins to stir. Many times before Shoma has extended himself, or some would say his will or aura, to his opponent. This in mind, Shoma would attempt to anticipate the where the dust and rock would go. Has the miniature tornado forms into being, he attempts to coat the debri in his aura that he may feel there whereabouts and perceive where they might go. However, as he maintains the wind votrex he begins to feel himself lose focus and control over the items inside. He scrambles to actually catch some of the rocks flying toward him with his free hand and catches only one. Others fly about him, landing as they may, even a bit to an eye, yet Shoma pauses. He thinks to himself, pondering if there was actually a moment where, the stone he caught had held it's place before he did.

Emersing the stone in his will, he begins to feel the stone with more than just his hand. Opening his hand with his palm facing up, he slowly lowers his hand and the stone falls, or some would floats down as if in water. Shoma at this point understands how he was able to the rock. This understanding would lead to new doors for him to open.
