Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mission Name: Sitting Duck.
Mission Type: Solo-Mission
Mission Rank: B-Rank
Objective: A rather important military captain has recently travelled to the village. Escort him through the village, and guard his home over the night and fend off all assassination attempts.

Oh what another wonderful day. The sun was shining brightly and the birds were chirping heavenly. A pleasant calm, hung in the air. It was something Hiku needed, a little thing called relaxation. Not everything had to be a dark day for him. He didn't always have to have night terrors about the creature who brought impending doom to Sunagakure. The day was so pleasant he wouldn't even begin to worry about the time he had to spend feeling those fragmented memories of his. No instead of worrying about tripping, he'd rather just trip and embrace in it. After all, you had to get a little eccentric, when trying to discover the impossible. The only thing that could make this moment any better was a gasper stick, and a book. Wouldn't you know it who had both of those things? Of course the one and only Hiku did.

He would pull out a light brown and purple leaf, with some finer shrubbery in the middle. It was bundled into a cylinder, and under his chair sat one of the best gifts he had gotten in a long time. "The Cranium and the Will", a detailed book about the psyche given to him by the Kazekage. With a delightful smile, Hiku would pull out a lighter and place the hand rolled, cig inside of his mouth. "I get to treat myself to my very own herbs, and a book to top my day off. I can only help but think today is going to be perfect." He would rummage through his vest pocket only to pull a small match book. Tearing one from the cardboard holding the row of matches in place; Hiku prepared to light his home grown gasper stick.

Although just like most things he wanted to do, they were cut short. Almost as soon as he had lit it another guard came running to Hiku. "Hey you're Hikuidori right? This just came for you from dispatch. You're relieved of Gate Duty, and need to report to your new station." With a deep sigh Hiku would blurt out, "No rest for the Sunan shinobi right... Thanks." The guard shrugged, obviously not giving a care in the world for poor Hiku's reassignment from the dull gate procedures especially on this slow day. Hiku opened the letter, to find the contents of the letter were a mission assignment.
Name of Shinobi: Hikuidori
Shinobi Branch and Rank: Main Branch - Chuunin
Mission Type: Escort/Bodyguard

Details: Your mission is to escort Captain Sugetsu. He is coming from the Daimyo's personal military force and is representing the daimyo in military exchanges with Sunagakure. You will not oversee these deals, and you will know nothing about them. Your task is to protect Captain Sugetsu along with his personal guard.

"Wonderful, just what I needed" Hiku thought as he headed for the main entrance from the lift. He had to meet his target there, and show them around Sunagakure. He was not entirely sure where he would bring the Captain for that he'd wait on the guy who was supposed to be his guard after all. With twenty odd minutes or so passed by, the gates were soon approached by a rather serious looking fellow, with two guards, both sporting masks. Hikudori stood straight up and awaited the captain and his group to meet him.

The man spoke in a rather blunt tone, "You're Hikuidori I assume? I received a letter before coming here that I would be escorted from the gates by a man named Hikudori. It seemed as though this guy was all about business. With a nod Hiku would allow the man's assumptions to be confirmed. "Hmm you're not what I expected. Well beggars can't be choosers."

"Oh wow, thank you Suna you gave me such a great guy to work with. What a sour puss, guess nobody told him the asshole superior attitude is out of style." With a smirk Hiku would only smile again trying to test the patience of the captain. However it was almost as if he was unphased by the awkward silence. "Oh my Sunagakure does have a good choice in their Shinobi. Silent and they are trained to listen. You two should take notes from this one here. Well off we go, I'm tired of travelling out in those deserts, can you take me somewhere I can get a good cold drink. After that I need to go to your training grounds, to speak to the officials there. Hiku would nod again being silent and only observing. However the only word he could get from the captain's talking was the word "asshat". Yes he was an asshat and Hiku had to wear him for a day or two.

"Entry for three in the gates. Mark them down as Captain Sugetsu and his two guards. I'll have to ask your two guards to remove their masks and share their names for the books. While I do understand you'd like a level of security and secrecy we do not hide our faces to our visitors, normally. I would hope you would be so kind as to do the same." He would observe the captain, trying to pick out any unnerving movements. However the Captain only shrugged and whistled for his guards to listen. Like dogs they took of their masks revealing their faces.

"The tall one is Junkei and the short one is Bakando. Now if we're done I do have business to attend to". Hiku was hating this guy more than ever, but the sooner they could get this done, the sooner he could have his free time again.
