Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The distress signal already had been made a while ago. The red-haired man who was sheltering was cursing rather annoyed. There never was backup when you needed any. A small sob was coming from one of the children that were sheltering with him. A woman started to shush the child. Scared to be found out, but they all were. Nao let a glance through the room once more and there were a handful of children, most of them seemed to be chakra-gifted. Then there were multiple women, different in age, and at least two were pregnant. There too was a man but he had been wounded. Looking at the man's leg again he would sit and sigh.

A woman came closest to Nao and looked slightly worried. “What is the next step?” At this, Nao wasn’t too sure. He had never been needed for offensive things. Or they were attacking in any way. Only defending and mending the wounded people. “They are searching for us right now… So we have to be careful about our actions. I made a call earlier, so there is to hoping that someone got to hear it before they broke it.” He was still lucky that the headset was the only thing that was broken at that point. But truth to be told he still felt like a bruise was starting to settle around his neck. Who knew that they too would have chakra-gifted people amont hem… Then again he should have figured that one out earlier. He was still puzzling about how to handle this situation.

“What is the best solution…” He mumbled out loud and slowly and carefully he would start to peek out of his hiding spot. Yet all he could see right now were about three people with guns and they all stood in a way so they could have quick contact with each other. So taking one of them out seemed to be out of the order. Then there was one person who he knew was chakra gifted… But where were te others from earlier? His gaze would harden once he saw another one coming inside and locking the door… ‘Well, there goes that plan..’ He would think and carefully shuffle back without even making a sound. “You had some combat experience right” He asked the woman who he spoke a bit to earlier. She would nod in reply on which Nao would double-check the gun he had snatched from earlier.
“Protect them while I am gone for a moment.” The woman slowly started to nod her head and looked towards Nao who would still be smiling soft and warm towards her.

Nao had forgotten one thing… He wasn’t the same as when he started being sennin. He had proven himself that he could fight, maybe not the best. But he wasn’t going to hide from the people whom he was sworn to protect. It just wasn’t right. It was now time to fight those fears and he knew he would get hurt here. It would depend on the amount of backup on how bad it would be, all that he hoped for was that he wouldn’t wound up dead.

“Huh..?” Nao asked for a repeat of those words which were the set of young medical students and senior nurses and a genin standing next to them. “There was no one here… The place looked like it was left in a hurry!”
“Not only, but also a lot of ravaging.”. The brows of the sennin started to furrow as he heard this all and eventually he would be standing up, leaning on the desk while looking straight at them. “Tell me exactly what the place looked like.” He would command on them all and right after he would start to move.

Some tables had been thrown around, landed on the side of upside down, clearly trying to block people from running that way. The chairs were scattered some not even whole. There was sound coming from the kitchen, the kettle was even still on. “This was not just leaving…” he would make a remark before looking towards the place better. There had to be some hint. He knew the owner of this place and how carefull she always was.

Salt had been placed in an arrow, along with blood tracks. “SHe had been wounded…” He would remark and follow the salt on the ground. Something a lot of people would miss when they are in a hurry… It helped him to find a small vent and inside was a small boy. “Sazuki Nao, you can come out now little one.” and once outside he would walk towards hte neighbors with the kid. Hearing everything but also the location.

Nao had tracked them down towards a warehouse, one never used for this kind of thing and the neighborhood wasn’t that bad. He saw the group of people sitting down below, all in robes and a few men were walking around looking and patrolling. Right now it looked Nao to be smart, to be saving his chakra. He reached for his headset. “Suzuki Nao, requesting backup to my location. Traffic in progress, it is quite armed.” He first would comment before hearing a voice behind him. “Correction, back up now, I have been found!” He would call but right at the end Nao was taken off guard by the man, it was a hachimon and he was a speedy man.

Rubbing his throat he would look over the barricade before making his move. Knocked two of them out and guided the group down below, this warehouse used to have a few secret tunnels…

He gritted his teeth while breathing sharply through them. He knew that his was going to hurt, but this... He knew especially since it seemed that there was again no backup coming. Dark thoughts started to cloud his mind once more, again he was defending people, the people from Hidden in the leaves, alone. Tears started to dwell on those thoughts. Again he was fighting a battle alone and it did not matter how much he would plead to others for a back-up, it seemed they would never come. Trying to push those thoughts away he would rest against the wall of the tunnels, everything that he did currently ended needles through his body. That was how badly he had been hurt in the last fight he had just now. The other people were looking towards the red-haired sennin who took a moment to breathe. Nao was covered in scratches, his shoulder and part of his back had been signed by flame, if it weren't for his dragon scales it probably would have been burned.

He had managed to close down the tunnel a while ago and made a part of it collapse so that he would be sure that there would be no followers. At least for now, but even then he had a plan. Slowly Nao started to move again, his body was heavily in protest which made his movements stagnant. "Just about half left... Still a summoning charge too.." He would mutter as his gaze was fixed to the palm of his hand. "Tsk..." he was not happy with this outcome and flicked his tongue as he started to move towards the front of the group. A lady started to give him a questioning gaze and Nao started to answer before she could even answer. "Don't worry... They won't go through the back, I also left explosive notes there.. No they won't make it past that part either. The tunnel was made to be able to collapse, each segment of this tunnel was designed that way." You could see relief coming to that lady's shoulders.

As he had spoken through that part, he would get to the front, that was where battle number two would start to commence. Eventually, a loud dragon roar would sound for the group of people and then silence.. "Come on out..." A battered and broken voice sounded, but it was that of the sennin. He was holding his arm and limping, holding an eye closed as he looked towards the group that started to get out one by one. "We... they..?" A child sounded and Nao would try to shoulder the pain as best as he could, petting the girl on her head. "You are save now... We just need to get to the Gates, the gates of the Hidden leaf, then I know for sure you all will be saved."

It was a long journey and Nao tried to heal himself to get the worst out of it, even getting scolded by the lady who knew just the basics and knowing how dangerous close Nao was cutting it again. Eventually, they reached the gates and Nao got taken care of, so did the group and children.
