Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It started as any other weekend for Ryuichi. Wake up early, eat, get prepared for the rest of the day. His teahouse apartment was always much more quiet on weekends due to his sensei being gone, and it normally showed. Normally in the mornings he was greeted with breakfast, and a list of training, or chores that needed done for the day. Of course the weekends could be used as a chance for the boy to get a break, but in his eyes it would be a waste of time. Of course, he was too physically drained to do more hands on training beyond what he is told to do, but he used weekends to study up on things at the academy.

After a breakfast consisting of fried fish, rice, and egg Ryuichi had prepared himself and soon found himself in the Aurora Eruditio with a pack on his back that seemed to be stuffed with a box. He found himself an unused room that lacked current classes, training, or other students studying. He pulled out a worn out table, and a chair with uneven legs before sitting down, and immediately slamming his head down into the table. With a sigh the white haired student opened his backpack and pulled out 4 large books.

The books were all on different forms of taijutsu, and the situations where they all shine. "Right....first up.." Ryuichi mumbled to himself, opening a book labeled 'Hand to Hand- What to Do With a Lack of Weaponry'. It was a large book with about 400 pages filled with drawings to demonstrate positioning, stance, and the like. And right away, Ryuichi lost interest beating his head into the table once more. If only there was someone here to help this go smoother...

Just as he thought this, Ryuichi quickly turned his head towards the door, noticing the handle shifting.

After a few seconds the rattling door knob went back to it's resting, untouched state. It must have been a student who mistook the room he was at, or something along those lines. Forgetting about it, he went back to reading up on taijutsu.

The entire day seemed to rush past without a hint of rest, or food for the poor cloud teen. Reading through all the basic taijutsu books took very little toll on him, and a glance could never spot his ever growing fatigue. His boredom, however was quickly forgotten when he got into the right mood for study.

Well after sunset Ryuichi found himself returning all the basic taijutsu books to the academy's book collection and got permission to bring several advanced books with him to read at home, which he was prepared for. He spent the entire night studying away behind the black curtains hiding his bunk, letting only a faint light and the sounds of turning pages, and shifting scrolls bother his fellow nin who slept in the very same room, aside from his sensei who was away for the weekend.

Sunrise broke through the window of the small apartment to see a sleepless ryuichi with two dozen books all gone through, and some even suffering tiny rips from his frustrated handling.

The rest of the day went on to being slow, draining, and tiresome. At some point he was even sure his sensei said something like "what did I tell you about sleep?" or something like that.

One thing Ryuichi learned, however were several taijutsu tactics that he would easily put into practice.

One of which being a slight chance of stance that made a world of difference. By holding a blade a certain way after already making contact with an enemy in a beneficial way could cause major bleeding, which can quickly wear down any foe.

He couldn't wait to show this off....probably not against a friendly nin, though.
