Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Deep within the Luminous Mountains Akkuma leaned over the operating table, studying the writhing form of the test subject. The subject's screams echoed through the dimly-lit underground laboratory, drowned out only by the hiss & hum of machines. Akkuma's eyes glinted with an intense fascination as he watched the subject's body twist & contort. In response to the injections & electrical shocks being administered. "Excellent." Akkuma murmured to himself, jotting down notes on a nearby clipboard. "The modifications to the muscular structure seem to be holding up. The new tissue is adapting well to the grafts." From the Sages tone he was certainly pleased with the progress they had made. He reached out a long-fingered hand & adjusted one of the electrodes attached to the subject's forehead. The screams intensified, but Akkuma barely seemed to notice.

"This will revolutionize the way we fight." he muttered, turning to address one of his assistants. "Imagine a squad of these...monsters. Capable of shrugging off numerous jutsu as if it were nothing. An unstoppable force to unleash upon those who would oppose us." One of the nearby assistants nodded hesitantly, looking nervously at the subject. "But sir, is this ethical? We are essentially creating...monsters." Akkuma scoffed, turning back to the table. "Ethics? Please. We are shinobi. We do what we must to survive. To win." He leaned over the subject again, his eyes alight with a fanatical glee. "Besides, imagine what we could achieve with even more radical modifications. Enhanced senses, increased endurance, the ability to regenerate. This is just the beginning, my friends." The subject's screams reached a fever pitch, & Akkuma stepped back, clasping his hands behind his back.

"Excellent work, everyone. Dispose of the subject, and bring in the next one. We have much work to do." As the assistants worked to remove the writhing subject from the operating table, Akkuma walked over to a nearby shelf and retrieved a vial of glowing green liquid. He poured it into a syringe & turned to the next test subject. A woman with matted brown hair & sunken eyes empty of hope. "This one." Akkuma said, gesturing to the woman. "Let's see how she reacts to the serum." The assistants nodded & strapped the woman down onto the table. Akkuma injected the serum into her arm, & the woman immediately began to convulse. But instead of screaming, she fell into a trance-like state. "Interesting." Akkuma murmured, studying the woman's vitals on a nearby monitor. "It seems the serum has sedative properties. Make a note of that." He moved on to the next subject, a muscular man with scars criss-crossing his chest. This time, Akkuma injected a yellow liquid into the subject's bloodstream. The man's muscles bulged and twitched, veins standing out like cords. "Remarkable." Akkuma breathed, watching in awe.

"The serum has enhanced his strength beyond what I thought possible." But as the man began to thrash against his restraints, Akkuma noticed something else. The subject's eyes were turning red, the whites disappearing entirely. "Stop the experiment." Akkuma ordered, stepping back. "That one is too unstable. Dispose of him immediately." The assistants hurried to comply, & Akkuma turned his attention to the next subject, a small & frail-looking boy. This time, he injected a blue liquid, & the boy's eyes widened as his body began to glow. "Look at that." Akkuma said, marveling at the sight. "The serum is triggering a form of chakra enhancement. This requires further investigation & exploration." But just as quickly as it had appeared, the glow began to fade, and the boy slumped back onto the table. "Disappointing." Akkuma muttered, jotting down notes on his clipboard. "But still, progress is progress." As the experiments continued, Akkuma found himself becoming more & more obsessed with the possibilities.

He experimented with different serums, different subjects, even different machines. Some experiments yielded incredible results, while others ended in disaster. But through it all, Akkuma never lost sight of his ultimate goal. To create the perfect weapon, the ultimate shinobi. And he was willing to do whatever it took to achieve that goal. Akkuma sat in his lab, surrounded by stacks of notebooks & files. He flipped through one of the notebooks, scanning the pages filled with scribbled notes and drawings. "Subject 43." he muttered to himself, stopping at a page with a crude sketch of a humanoid figure. "Injected with the enzyme extracted from the toxins of a Legionnaire Tick. Result: increased agility & reflexes, but also severe neurological damage. Unusable for combat." He flipped to another page, this time filled with charts & graphs. "Serum A." he said, pointing to a bar graph that showed significant muscle growth in the test subjects. "Effective, but too volatile. Several subjects suffered from cardiac arrest." Akkuma continued to go over his notes, looking for any clues or patterns that could help him in his quest. He reviewed experiments involving jutsu-infused serums, enzymes extracted from mythical beasts, & even gene-splicing techniques.

"Subject 78." he muttered, his eyes flicking over to a file folder on his desk. "Injected with the enzyme derived from the venom of a Pugilist Scorpion. Result: heightened speed & agility, but also extreme sensitivity to light. Unusable for day missions." Akkuma shook his head, frustrated by the endless failures & setbacks. But he knew that failure was just part of the process, & that every experiment brought him one step closer to his goal. "Subject 105." he said, flipping to another page. "Injected with the enzyme extracted from the saliva of a Dune Bug. Result: significant increase in the tensile strength & elasticity of leg muscles, but also severe skin irritation. Needs further refinement." He closed the notebook & leaned back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling with a sigh. "So many variables." he murmured to himself. "So many unknowns. But I will find the answer. I will create the ultimate weapon, no matter the cost...just not today it seems." with those words he would begin securing all of his research notes utilizing the Archive Jutsu he had created many years ago.
