Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

it had been weeks since the events of the Genin exam, and Sora had been wait patiently for his father to return from a routine escort mission so that he could tell him everything, and show his father he was not a disappointment as his mother had made him off to be, but that he too could become a great shinobi. but as the days crept on, Sora was feeling less and less thrilled, and more and more anxious. Where is he... Sora ad even confided in Yasu and Mokuba several times, as he too began standing at the gates of the city everyday, hoping to high heaven that his father would be walking back at any moment, but nothing came. Finally, after an eternity, Sora found himself at the gates, listening to Mokuba announce the figures coming into view. A sinking sensation struck Sora, however, as he sensed with his sonar only two heartbeats, from the three bodies. his eyes filling with tears, soaked his new headband, and his chest tightened, as if drowning in fear. Please be wrong... please don't be him... please... he begged internally, gasping for air, only to be met with more pain, as the wistle around one of the gatekeepers necks blew, and a team of medical shinobi appeared out of thin air. The last think he heard was the name Naragaki, and then Sora's world pitched and fell into echoes, and he screamed and sobbed at the gate. He could feel Yasu and Hibiki, and he saw Mokuba talking, but e didn't hear them past his own thoughts and tears.

That was four days ago. Now, Sora sat in the family zen garden, dressed in all black robes, with faint accents of gold and midnight blue. With his Father gone, Akane became the head, in all things. She ascended, and that meant Sora fell further. He didn't care anymore, though. His father was the only one that fought to make sure Sora was treated at least remotely fairly bay Akane. he was the only one that vouched for him when mother was having a tyraid over something Sora had done that wasn't perfect and proper. Sora may still be young, but he knew here, at his father's wake, that he needed to leave, or he might not survive much longer.

"Well, well, well." Speak of the devil... "Looks like baby Sora finally got his precious little headband. In case you had forgotten, it changes nothing." As she spoke she walked in circles around him, her words dripping with venom and malice. "Akane, dad's gone... I don't wanna do this today." Sora stood up to leave, but she immediately pushed him back down. "Exactly. Father has moved on, so you will address me as 'ma'am' or 'madam' from now on. Got it?" Sora felt rage bubbling up in his chest. "Or father is not even a week gone, and already you're pulling this shit?" Sora stood abruptly, and knocked Akane into the sand, his temper getting the better of him. "You dishonor his name, and are not fit to lead this house!" Sora shouted violently, storming off.

"Clan rule number seventeen; a member of Hashigaki trait will not speak out of turn!" Akane shouted out, desperately. Sora spit on the ground in response. "Clan rule number eight; A male will always lead the clan in times of crisis." pausing in his place, Sora dropped his headband around his neck, allowing Akane to see to perfectly golden globes he kept hidden. "Turn this into a crisis, I dare you." he whispered callously.

Within seconds, the two were engaged in the zen garden, fighting back and forth with blinding speed. Akane cast several genjutsu, but Sora broke them with ease, his rage at her disrespect fueling him. They fought with fist and foot; kunai and shuriken, littering the zen garden with steel and destruction. as they locked blades, Akane smirked. "Scared baby brother? I can kill you now, and no one would bat an eyelash. You're no one." Sora swung several times as they locked kunai once more. "True, but if I die, at least people will mourn. You, big sister, are nothing." Infuriated, Akane doubled her assault, lashing out with new found vigor, and beginning to cast ninjutsu, destroying the zen garden with he flames, and turning the sand to glass. Sora began to panic a little, realizing he was now, in fact, fighting for his life. I need to leave, now. as he went to make a quick escape, Akane attacked, but Sora used his stunt double technique to quickly create a clone and switch places with it, as a pseudo-substitution. Running for the far door of the courtyard, Akane shouted at him "You dare turn your back on me?!" Sora heard her hands clasp together repeatedly, forming a combination of handseals, and recognized them as a jutsu he'd seen Akane use once before during training; a fire technique that vaporized everything in its path. Panicking further, Sora struggled with the door as he reached it. I don't have time to dodge, and there's no way I can block an attack that powerful. Think, Sora, think! His mind raced, but fear prevented any thought from forming. he was about to die.

Suddnely, Akane froze, unable to move. Sora was frozen as well, but his with fear and confusion. Thump, thump! Thump, thump! Thump, thump! another heartbeat was racing nearby. Smirking lightly, Sora thought, Good, she got caught. His heart jumped into his throat, though, and his stomach sunk, as Sora recognized through sonar the sigh of Sachiko, the weakest and youngest sister, with the stance of Shadow Strangulation jutsu, a Nara technique. Clan rule number one; should the traits be presented, a Nara must and will be head of clan, regardless of age, gender, or previous rulers decree. Sora suddenly was hyper focused, and no longer wanted to escape; he needed to get Sachiko out of there. Akane's face was twisting with rage beyond that Sora had ever seen. Casting a quick wind clone, Sora sent it off to the gate, knowing Mokuba Sensei and Yasu would be there as always. He needed help.

Please hurry, guys... I might be joining Hibiki here soon...

Yasu stood at the gate, leaning up against the wooden structure. "Ugh, Mokuba can we gooooooo." Mokuba stood going over his schedule "Someone is just grumpy because they are hungry." Yasu through his arms in the air. "Well SOMEONE told me to wait because SOMEONE told me we would go get food!" Yaus leaned back against the gate and proceeded to pout some more. Yasu began to hear a faint whisper in the distance that slowly grew closer. Yasu turned and saw Sora in the distance. He looked panicked and was running full sprint towards him. Yasu... Somethings not right. Sora approached screaming as Yasu ran toward him. "Yasu I need your help! Im in trouble! Im at my place and I think my sister is going kill." Yasu ran past the clone, "Im all else fails get to my place. Mokuba will help you!" Yasu ran as fast as he could. Please don't be to late.

Meanwhile...
Akane stood motionless as her anger bubbled inside her. She knew as well as Sora that with the activation of Sachiko abilities would mean she would be the new head of the clan and not Akane. Sora stood in shock as he processed the situation. The look on Sachiko face was that of sheer panic. It was obvious the recent stress of losing her father and watching sibling fight in that manner triggered her new powers. Unable to move herself Sachiko stood terrified as the realization of the gravity of her actions hit her like a wave of terror. Akane slowly turned her head as she fought the Jutsu she was trapped in. Her eyes screamed as she glared at her sister. Sora noticed the Jutsu was breaking and would not hold. Akane was already in a rage and he feared the worst. He launched forward to attempt to subdue Akane before she had full movement, however She broke the Jutsu quicker then Sora could have imagined. He was in full assault and was to invested to pull off. He thought to himself. She's not holding back at all. Akane met Soras assault with a swift kick sending him back. She turned and threw a Kunai at Sachiko. Sachiko fell to her knees, exhausted from her Jutsu. Motionless, struck with fear as the blade crept closer. Sachiko closed her eyes and looked away. A sudden clang sound rang through the courtyard. Sachiko turned and found herself face to face with Yasu. Yasu was down on one knee, the kunai bouncing off the large shield he wore on his back. Yasu smiled as he felt a sigh of relief from Sora. "Its ok to be scared. Its not ok to look away." Yasu reached out and booped the frightened girl on the nose.

Yasu stood up and turned slowly and he entered his partial Limbo state letting him speak to Hibiki directly. "Yasu... That would have killed her..." Yasu took a deep breath. "I know." Hibikis concern began to shift to a louder tone."Yasu what exactly is your plan right now? Look at Sora. He's beat up pretty bad, and I know you like to act tough but you are on his level. This girl is way beyond you. Genjutsu?" "No... That wont work... anything I do se will have had seen before." "So what now?" Yasu paused. "I have to do something she has never seen. I have to take he to Limbo... Full Limbo." Hibiki now almost angry with Yasu "That honestly cant be your plan! You have never brought someone else there! And lets look at this logically for one second! Even if it works you still are right where you started! Changing the where wont change the fact you cant stop her!" Yasu looked at Hibiki "You can." Hibiki taken back by the comment. "No." "Look, in Limbo Ninjutsu doesn't work. She will expect my Genjutsu so that wont work. My Taijutsu is pathetic." Hibiki now yelling "WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I CAN" Yasu cutting Hibiki off "DONT LIE TO ME!" Yasu and Hibiki paused "I know Habiki. I know." "What do you know?" "The book mentioned what I call Limbo is more like Purgatory. This whole conversation is possible because time is slower here. Hibiki I didn't... I don't accept you for 7 years.... You were trapped there for... I have no idea how long... In Purgatory their are supposed to be monsters... Demons... But I have never seen one. Never heard a whisper. Which could only mean you took care of them. Hibiki you always loved to fight. So I need you to fight or Im going to lose another brother today.

Yasu exited partial Limbo and stared at Akane. Alright... Now what. Yasu stood firm. Well... Shes Soras sister...So she...Has a temper. Yasu smiled, shrugged and stood casually. "Now I don't have siblings but this seems like more then just a little squabble." The lack of respect in his stance and tone began to irritate Akane. "Wait... Youre Soras oldest sister right? We met. Like awhile ago. Remember? I walked up and had that script and I was going to address you as sir or madam and with you I couldn't tell!" Yasu let out a small chuckle. "Now let me say now I can tell by how you are dressed but... Your face... I feel like its all wrong." Soras mouth dropped as Yasu began to rip into his sisters appearance. "I guess I cant call it your face... Its all forehead." The more Yasu spoke the anger emitted for Akane became almost tangible. "Ya know what. I take it back. The clothes aren't working. Its like you are just wearing a wet box if that makes scenes. I keep going back to your forehead though. Like why is it so" Yasu stopped as a fist made contact with his face. Akane launched forward in a drunken rage. The punch full for power. Yasu let out a slight smile as his face began to give way. His voice echoed though the courtyard as Yasu rose from the ground behind them using his Inner Earth Reflection Lure. "Mud snare JUTSU!" Nice. A mixture of your clone jutsu and Chakra absorption. The clone wrapped around Akane trapping her in a thick mud. Yasu ran forward, "SORA RUN" Akane struggled as Yasu ran and faced palmed her. He vanished from sight as Akane collapsed into a come like state.

Lunging forward quickly, using wind chakra to propel him forward, Sora swung wide for a violent left hook, only to suddenly feel a sharp pain in his chest. Akane managed to snap free of the possession jutsu, and land a devastating kick into Sora's ribcage, and launching him back into the door where he originally stood. Coughing, blood fell from his mouth, as he heard the faint whistle of a blade fly through the air, followed by a loud clang. The sound acted as a gong, and Sora smiled wryly as he heard Yasu address Sachiko. Thank you, friend.

"Now I don't have siblings but this seems like more then just a little squabble. Wait... You're Sora's oldest sister right? We met. Like awhile ago. Remember? I walked up and had that script and I was going to address you as sir or madam and with you I couldn't tell! Now let me say now I can tell by how you are dressed but... Your face... I feel like its all wrong. I guess I can't call it your face... Its all forehead. Ya know what. I take it back. The clothes aren't working. Its like you are just wearing a wet box if that makes sense. I keep going back to your forehead though. Like why is it so-"

Sora, not having his eyes covered, could clearly be seen freaking out over Yasu's clearly insane tactic; jaw agape, eyes looking directly at Yasu in a quizzical expression. What the hell is he before he could even form a thought, Akane lunged forward, lashing out. Gotta stop her! putting his hand down to his side, Sora stomped on the ground, creating a small sound to condense in his hand as a crystal, and launching it at Akane. it's not gonna make it in time! Sora panicked, watching her fist connect at full power with Yasu's jaw. "Yasu!" His face smiled and contorted as his body turned to hard mud, and the real Yasu emerged from the ground.

""SORA, RUN!"

In an instant, the crystallized sound collided with Akane's head as Yasu grabbed her and vanished suddenly, Akane still trapped in the mud, and slumping forward, completely unconscious. Sora was frozen in panic until he hear Sachiko hyperventilating. Running over to her, Sora slid down in front of her, scanning for any injuries. finding none, he spoke. "Sachi, we have to go, right now."

"I didn't... I wasn't...I just..." She stammered, tears filling her eyes, "I just wanted you two to stop fighting again." Sachiko started to sob, but Sora was a little more aware of the situation at hand it seemed, and instantly grabbed her shoulders. "Sachiko, listen to me carefully. I know you are older than me, but right now, I need to protect you. You have Nara blood running through your veins, and that makes you the head of the clan over Akane. She will stop at nothing to make sure that doesn't happen. I need to get you to safety before she comes to."

"But I-"<i></i>

"Sachi!" Sora shook her a little, startling his sister a little, "You saved my life. Now let me get you to safety." quickly, Sora grabbed Sachiko by the hand and ran to the far end of the courtyard, now destroyed by fire and mud. I need to find Mokuba...

Yasu blinked a couple times to let his eyes focus, his body was already weak and wobbly. He found himself in a clearing in a large forest. Looking over he saw Akane, she was screaming and attempting to stand. The new realm threw off her center of gravity and it took some time for her to find her baring's. Hibiki helped Yasu up. "Well congratulations, you did it." He said sarcastically. "Alright, what now?"
Yasu, now able to stand on his own, "Well you fight her. Head on. Im going to leave for a bit." Hibiki turned to Yasu shocked. "What the hell do you mean leave!? Where could you possibly be going!?" Yasu started to back away "Im just going to get plan B read-" Hibiki cutting Yasu off "WHAT THE HELL YOU MEAN PLAN B!?" Yasu smirked "Well Im not going to tell you, mainly because you are not going to like it. All I need you to do if fight, use everything you got." Hibiki grabbed Yasus arm. "Look when I agreed to this I imagined you being here with me. Now that its 1 on 1 Im going to have to go all out. Yasu.. If I go all out I cant guarantee I will be able to hold o-" Yasu cut Hibiki off this time, shaking him and looking into his eyes. "What is our Ninja way!? To protect those who cannot protect themselves, no matter what. I know its going to be hard, that's why I have a plan B...I need you to do this." Yasu let go and started to back away again. "...Toss me a Kunai" Hibiki smiled, only he knew the outcome of this whole ordeal. He didn't have the heart to tell Yasu. He simply muttered, "Im proud of you Yasu" Yasu taken back by the comment. "Alright alright, don't make it weird." The oblivious boy ran off into the woods leaving Hibiki with Akane who was just now getting her footing.

Akane saw Yasu as he vanished into the dense forest. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING!? WHERE AM I!?" She screamed at the top of her lungs as her eyes shifted to Hibiki. Hibiki started to walk towards her, slowly. "Where he is going is not your concern at the moment. Where you are is irrelevant. Before you ask who are you, I am your opponent." Akane jumped back and used a couple hand seals. She landed shocked to see they had no effect. She then attempted a cancelation technique to break the Genjutsu she assumed she was under. Hibiki smiled, "Let me give you a tip. Ninjutsu dosnt work here. Genjutsu, at least on me with my mind not being mine, also wont work. Your only option to fight me is Taijutsu." Hibiki threw the Kunai towards Akane allowing her to catch it. Hibiki smirked as he continued to walk forward. "Wouldnt want this to be to easy. You have spent, what? 20 years learning to be a ninja?" The more Hibiki spoke the more the land shifted. The trees became more rigged and a dark fog settled all around them. "I have spent the last 36 leaning how to be a savage." He slouched down and stretched his arms out slightly reveling his palms. He tapped into Yasus Ghost walker abilities and created chakra weapons, and ax in each hand. They were the length and style of any common woodcutting ax you would find on a farm, however they were also sleek in design. Hibiki smiled "And Im dying to find out which one is better." Hibiki launched forward and he began his assault onto Akane.

Meanwhile
Yasu ran through the thick forest in a panic. Come on cone on cone on come on. Eventually Yasu found himself at the entrance of a cave carved into a mountainside. This has to be it. Do you feel that? Yasu paused. "Oh ya... You're not in my head right now... Awkward." Yasu could feel a dark presence and found himself crawling down into the depths of his own nightmare. The air around him became thick and heavy, almost as if it was a liquid. He wondered deeper and deeper until a voice sent a chill down his spine. The voice itself was breathy and in an exaggerated whisper. "Its has been so long since I have come across a wondering spirit." The air around Yasu shifted as if something was moving all around him. "Especially one that so willing approaches. Tell me, what is it you seek in the depths?" Yasu looked all around him trying to pinpoint the origin of the voice. He spoke, not letting his nerves get to him. "Well you're the first...Thing... I have come across and Im kind of on a time crunch so I guess I am looking for you?" The voice let out a chuckle "Well, allow me to grant you your last request!" The creature appeared right in front of Yasu, its face bigger the Yasus whole body. It rushed forward to attack him only to be stopped centimeters for Yasus face. Spirit Barrier The two stood face to face. The creatures giant black eyes looked deep into Yasus soul. "Interesting." It muttered as it vanished back into the dense smoke. "Its been millennia since anyone has come across a walker, however I knew you would come one day. After all I'm assuming that it was your Echo that drove me from my lands." Their was a long pause before the beast would address Yasu again. "Why are you here?" Yasu spoke up "I hear Demons like to make deals." The creature let out a loud laugh. "Well aren't you the brave soul. Not many would address a demon willingly, let alone to make a deal. My name is Dokaku. I can grant you anything you desire. Power, fame, wealth its all the same. I have been around since the beginning. I know all because I have seen all. SO tell me what is it you-" Yasu cut of the daemons rant. "You miss understood me! I didn't come looking for a deal, I came to offer one. Dokaku paused, taken back by the comment. "An interesting turn of events, but you have nothing I could want." Yasu smiled. "I have a girl here! Not like me, alive and healthy." Silence filled the cave. Suddenly the demon charged Yasu who put up his barrier one more time. "RRRAAAAHHH LET ME OUT OF HERE WALKER! THIS IS STILL MY LAND AND IF A BODY ARIVES IT IS MY RIGHT! YOU CANNOT KEEP ME TRAPPED HERE! I WILL KILL YOU WALKER!" Yasu shouted back at Dokaku. "If you kill me she fades away and you will never see her!" The beast calmed down and receded back. "And in return, what is your desire." Yasu looked down. "Well I had something, but... You said you know all? Dose that include the Walkers?" "I said before I know all." Yasu looked up. "You can have her, but I want to know everything about the Ghost walkers." The fog eased up and the giant beast turned into smoke. A dark figure emerged from the darkness holding out his hand. The two reached out and just before the shook Yasu spoke up again. "One more thing." The figure pulled back. "I will lead you to her, I... I need you to hurt her." The beast smiled and asked almost pleased with the request. "Might I ask why?" Yasu looked into the emptiness standing in front of him. "In order for this all to work... She needs to be afraid I... I want there to be afraid." The two shook hands and he pulled Yasu closer. "One day you will arrive here, same as the rest of them. When that day comes, find me. You have a dark and cold heart already, I can not wait to see what you will become."

"Uh, Sora?"

"Not Now, Sachi, we have yo hurry." Sora and Sachiko ran down the streets, taking back alleyways and side streets to avoid getting caught in crowds, just in case Yasu wasn't able to hold Akane off like he confidently showed he could. Need to get to the gate, Sora thought, looking down the roads with his sonar, checking which path was easiest to get down, and quickest to the gate. The streets of the Oak District were fairly crowded today, what with the day being the perfect temperature outside for outdoor activities. This, however, was the worst situation for Sora. He was in a hurry, and the clusters of children and elderly people wandering and playing was slowing him down too much. "Sachiko, we need to go up to the rooftops."

"I'm timid, Sora," Sachiko said, pulling her hand out of Sora's grip, "I'm not stupid. I was trying to suggest that, earlier." With that, she launched herself up the side of the buildings, and onto the rooftops above. Sora usually forgot that his sister was also a Genin, and that even though she was scared of a great many things, her skills as a kunoichi were still superb. Sora lunged forward, running up the side of the building with ease, and catching up to Sachiko within seconds. "So what exactly is the plan? your friend has a cool weird ability, but can he beat Akane?" Sora didn't respond for a few seconds. he also was doubtful of Yasu, and was worried about him, but he couldn't concern Sachiko with that too much. "We're going to get Mokuba Sensei. He's usually a gatekeeper at the entrance to the village, but he's easily Jounin level. if anyone can stop Akane, it-"

"Sora!" Sora paused as he heard Mokuba Sensei's voice. "Sachi, hold up here." Landing on a rooftop, Mokuba appeared right near them, as if out of nowhere. "your clone gave me directions before dispersing. Where's Yasu?" Sora explained everything that had happened, from the conflict, to Sachiko revealing her Nara traits, and the significance of that, and How Yasu touched Akane and then vanished into thin air, with Akane slumping over past out. When he said this, Mokuba gasped, a look of panic like Sora had never seen on the shinobi's face before. Yasu, what have you done? Tightening his headband, Mokuba became suddenly very serious. "Sora, you and your sister head to my place. its a small home built right near the village entrance. if you need help, Katsuto at the gate will tell you where it is." He bent down into a sprinter's kick off position, "I need to go rescue my student." And with that, he kicked off, an explosion of wind breaking the sound barrier as he blasted forward. As the dust settled, Sora turned back to Sachiko. "Ok, uhh... I guess lets get going." He heard Sachiko's heart racing, and her breath sharpen. Is she blushing? over Mokuba? "Seriously, sis?" Grabbing their hand, they tore off towards the entrance.

"This is Mokuba's place Katsuto said flatly behind his mask, "Please be careful not to disturb too much of his properties." He bowed and began to walk away. "Thank you, Sensei." Sachiko said, happy to feel safe after such a terrifying afternoon. Sora, however, still felt uneasy, since he could hear the buzzing and crawling of bugs when Katsuto Sensei was nearby, and it gave him the chills. "Yea...thanks." As they entered the home, Sora tapped the frame of the door with his knuckle, getting an idea of what the house looked like. As the sound echoed through the building, Sora identified three bedrooms of humble size, one clearly Yasu's room, since it was an utter mess. He did notice something else about Yasu's room though, and it caused Sora to pause and tap the frame a second time, just to make sure he wasn't imagining it. Only one thing hung in Yasu's closet; a single, pressed kimono. That jerk called mine a dress, and he has a perfectly clean one hanging up? "Ass..."

"Sora," Sachiko called from the kitchen area, "This guy has nothing but soy sauce in his fridge. What are we supposed to do for food?" "Seriously? You're just thinking about food right now?" Sora said, walking into the kitchen. Sachiko stuck her tongue out at him. "Shut up, I'm a stress eater. What am I supposed to do now?" Sora was still thinking about the kimono in Yasu's closet, though. "let me see that soy sauce."

Hibikis and Akanes battle raged on. Both two sides of a the same coin. One, a brut, the other meticulous. Their common attribute, a rage that filled the to the brim. Akane charged forward. As Hibiki waited for the assault he felt a surge of chakra flow through his body. Yasu what are you doing? Why are you using so much chakra? His distraction allowed Akane to stab him in his left shoulder. Hibiki quickly used his right arm to grab her. Hibiki smiled "You have to do better then that! As he shouted he rose his left arm, despite the wound and slammed his elbow onto Akanes. Wounded the two jumped back. "After all of that you are going to waist your one opening on-" Hibiki stopped and fell to one knew. ….Yasu...You...too much chakra... The axes disappeared, as Hibiki started to tense up. His body shifted and his limbs flailed. Akane watched confused and terrified as his appetence began to change. A dark Chakra began to flow out of his eyes and mouth until it covered his head and most of his torso. His face was gone, no eyes, no nose, no features of any kind. Just one large mouth with jagged teeth that protruded out menacingly. "...………...Kill" Hibiki lunged forward. Akane shocked at the sudden burst of energy. She now had the unsettling feeling she was the one fighting for her life. The two danced around each other. Akane doing her best to avoid her new opponent. Hibiki stopped as he used his hands to pry open the mouth of chakra engulfing him. He screamed as his hands opened up from the fangs and blood ran down. His head emerged for the living chakra consuming him. He forced the chakra back inside before collapsing to the ground. Akane suspiciously walked over. She found a very weak Hibiki. She lifted her blade to deliver the final blow. "That wont be necessary." Hibiki fought through the dark liquid still trying to escape. "I guess I stayed around to long. Can you come closer?" Akane kneeled by Hibiki knowing he was not a threat in this state. Hibiki grabbed her by the hand. "Its a shame you don't understand. They say you learn the most about someone when you fight them. You wont stop will you?" He said with a chuckle. "The funniest part is you should of let me kill you... Plan B is going to be worse." I cant stay any longer little brother... not if I don't want to become one of them... I will tell Mom and Dad what you have become. Im sure they will be proud too. Hibiki lifted his hand up as a flash of light from the sky descended onto him. in Just a moment he was gone.

Akane gaze shifted and Yasu entered the clearing. Charging forward the boy was alone. Akane smiled and charged back. "So now you're actually going to fight me you liitle-" Akane stopped when behind Yasu through the trees a thick wave of dark smoke ripped though the trees and surrounded the opening. "Time to fulfill my end of the bargain." The smoke surrounded Akane who swung violently at in in sheer panic. The creature reviled itself only slightly grabbing he in a large dark hand. It held her to the ground as she cried out and struggled, curing and threatening the beast. The smoke began to slowly wrap around each limb, crushing it slowly. Breaking every bone, the ripping it off entirely. One, by one. As he lay there, in a pool of her own blood the beast then slowly pressed with the hand killing Akane. The Daemon laughed with amusement. "Delicious" The smoke swirled around as the Daemon pieced Akane back together. Akane awoke with a sudden gasp, shaking and in tears. Dokaku turned to Yasu. "Satisfi-" Yasu cut him off and muttered. "Where...Where is Hibiki?" Akane turned her head and addressed Yasu. "I...I dont know. I dont know what happened. He Just... He just..." Yasu stared right into Akanes eyes. "Again." Dokaku smiled "Its been so long since I have gotten to enjoy myself. Dokaku proceeded to kill Akane again, again, and again. Yasu watched. After the 47th time Akane still screamed just as if was the first time. Each life was met with a more violent end then the last. Dokaku released her. "Shes mine now." Akane grabbed her chest as if in pain right before the Demon began to poses her. She shook violently. Her hands dug into the ground, eyes rolled back. Unable to scream her spasms became worse as the daemon stuck its teeth deeper and deeper into her. "Enough." Yasu spoke quietly to himself as he fought back his own tears. He lifted his hand and cast his Jutsu. Before the possession Yasu planted a seed deep in Akanes chest, another Spirit Barrier. It expanded rapidly as Dokaku was cast out. What is the meaning of this Walker!? Yasu smiled. "I never said when you would get her." Yasu blinked and he found himself back in the courtyard on top of Akane who was covered in mud.

Akane came to her scenes to find Yasu on top on her. Yasu grabbing hold of her clothes lifting her slightly of the ground. "Give up! Its over!" Akane said nothing as she stared back into Yasus eyes. "You lose. I win. Its over!" Akane began to prepare to speak when suddenly she let out a punch that took Yasu by surprise. As Yasu flew backwards he held on the her and pulled her back into Limbo once again. The arrived back in the clearing where Dokaku was circling over head. Not waiting a moment he dove down and began to possess Akane again before she could come to her senses. Yasu stumbled as he attempted to get up. Blood came up out of his mouth. Im pushing my body to hard, I cant hold this. He ran forward and this time threw his Barrier forward so it would pass over Akane this time instead. Once again Dokaku was cast out and Yasu brought them both back. Yasu again was on Akane. He pulled her up to his face one more time. Blood still leaking from the corners of his mouth. "If I have to take you there again I swear I will let it take you! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?" He shook her fighting through his tears. "This isn't what I want! I dont want to do this! I promise you will never see Sora or your sister again! Just please stop!" Akane looked at Yasu again, but her stubbornness what stronger then her reasoning. With another swift punch Yasu anticipated it moving his head back dodging the blow, only to swing his head back forward to land a devastating headbutt sending them again into Limbo. Yasu lied on the ground. The grass tickled his nose. Yasu used the last of his energy to look up. Akane now almost fully possessed. Im sorry Sora... I didnt want it to go this far. Akanes hand began to glow. The light grew in intensity until it consumed her. Dokaku was sent flying out and ran back to the forest.

Yasu opened his eyes and found himself laying next to Akane. Both were to weak to move. "I thought you said you would let it take me?" Yasu turned. "Should I have?"
"So what happens now? What happens with Sora and more impotently Sachiko?" Yasu let out a sigh. "They will stay with me. They wont come her, you wont see them at all. Know one knows about what happened tonight." Akane coughed as she attempted to speak. "So what Im just supposed to believe they will never come back? Im not just going to le-" Yasu spoke abruptly "They wont come back because if they do they will die.. They know that. Will they come back one day?" Yasu smiled "You bet your sweet ass they will. SO you better be ready. Hope you enjoy your little clan time before they get stronger." Yasu got up slowly. "And whats to stop me from finding you all and finishing all of this?" "For starters, me."Mokuba jumped down off the roof and caught Yasu before he collapsed. Yasu what have you done? Mokuba looked at the frail shell of Akane "At the moment this is still a Clan matter and the Hokage has no jurisdiction here. If you were to attack outside these walls it would become a village matter." Mokuba leaned down towards Akane "And I personally will lead the attack that will wipe out your Clan." Mokuba put Yasu on his back and ran off to take him home. Akane was motionless. She slowly lifted the hand where the light came from, the same hand Hibiki grabbed. She stared at it for a moment, looked at the sky above her, then passed out from exhaustion.

Sora and Sachiko knelt in silence in the small abode, a small, traditional japanese table positions between them. Sachiko had had enough time to brew a pot of green tea, and set it out for themselves, as well as Yasu and Mokuba Sensei upon their return, and had already poured herself a cup, sipping daintily from it with shut eyes, indulging in the silence. Sora, however, sat rubbing his jaw, with an empty jar of soy sauce sitting on the ground next to him. I forgot how hard she could punch... Sora thought with a pout. "If you just let me have my moment of-"

"You were going to wreck his only kimono." Sachiko said flatly, not looking up from her tea, taking another sip. "Not like he wears it anyways."Sora muttered. putting down her cup and sighing, Sachiko continued. "Well, now you get to explain there is a stain on the ground in front of his room."

"The floor is wood! There's no what that there's a stain! And it's you're fault, by the way!" Sora shouted. They sat in silence for a while, waiting for the two to show up, and anxious to know what they were going to do. Their whole world had just changed dramatically in a matter of days, and even more so in the last few hours. Finally Sachiko broke the silence. "Sora, I know I'm older and all, but I was never raised to be in charge of anyone...so... what are we going to do?" It was strange to Sora to actually hear his older sister asking him what to do. Something in him knew that it was backwards, and that she should know what the plan would be next. "We can't go back. Not now." Sora sighed, looking down. It was an obvious statement, but one that hadn't been addressed yet. "We're still shinobi, though, so we still have to stay in the village, otherwise Akane can pin this whole thing on us, and brand us ronin's."

"An accurate observation, Sora." Mokuba said, walking in, Yasu hanging off his arm, attempting to stand on his own. Sachiko sighed happily, but Sora stood in pained shock. Through the sounds of the room, Sora could see Yasu was damaged severely. Fat lip, irregular heartbeat, suggesting damaged ribs, swollen eye... I wonder how his chakra's doing? Using his Eagle Vision jutsu, Sora looked over at Yasu and... Hibiki?! Sora concealed a gasp. physically, Yasu was clearly worse on the inside, with his chakra appearing as a fire that was ignored for too long; hot, and powerful, but dim, and ready to go out at any moment. However, Sora felt a lump in his throat form, as he saw only Yasu's chakra. Hibiki was gone, with no trace of his energy remaining. As he was observing this, Mokuba stepped aside and Sachiko embraced Yasu, tears welling up in her eyes. "Thank you." Me whispered to him, thinking only he could hear it. "Your sister won't bother you, we've ensured that. My suggestion? get stronger. Don't quit getting stronger, and then fix your dysfunctional family. I'm not big on clan politics, but maybe you can fill me in later, for now, he needs rest." Mokuba gestured to Yasu, who was just now being relinquished by Sachiko.

Before he could get a moment, however, Sora was there, embracing his friend, tears in his eyes, headband still down around his neck, so his eyes were visible. He didn't know what to say; Thank you for saving him? Ask if he was going to be ok? See if he knew about Hibiki yet? None of it would have happened if he'd just kept his cool and let Akane have her way today, and for that thought alone, Sora cried, holding his new brother, whispering over and over again, hardly able to control it.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

"You do look awful." Mokuba walked down the street with a tired Yasu on his back. "Ya? Whats your excuse then?" Yasu managed to find the strength for a little back and forth with Mokuba. Mokuba let out a laugh, "Alright fair enough. Good to see you are awake back there. You had me worried sick Yasu. I mean how did you even-" Yasu interrupted Mokuba "I brought her into full Limbo." Mokuba stopped walking, sighed, then continued. "Yasu Im not much help when it comes to your abilities but it was just last week you discovered that was even a thing. To bet everything on a technique you have barely used is reckless." Yasu rolled his eyes as he spoke at the same time as Mokuba. "Only make bets you know you can win." The two laughed together "Well I guess you do listen to me then."

Yasu tapped Mokubas shoulder as they walked up to the door. "Let me down. I don't want them to see me all weak." They both had an awful day I don't need the to worry...how am I going to tell Sora what happed...what I Mokuba opened the door. Mokuba said something to Sora but Yasu couldn't hear a thing, just his racing heartbeat at the thought of what he had done. The gravity of it washing over him. Im a monst Yasu was suddenly embraced by the warm body of Sachiko. She thanked him, tears rolling down her face. How is what I did a good thing? Should she be thanking me at all? ...Would she if she knew... Suddenly it was Sora hugging Yasu. He all he could hear was Sora saying Im sorry rapidity. I cant do this. Yasus eyes welled up with tears. He grabbed Sora by the shoulders and held him at arms length. He looked at him and sighed. Using the last of what little chakra he had recovered he brought Sora into partial Limbo and showed him everything. What happened, what was said, what he did, and what he allowed. "No Sora... Im sorr Yasu collapsed yet again. Sora was only inches away but did nothing. The shock of it all left him immobilized for a short moment. He stood frozen as his mind tried to make scene of everything. Sachiko caught Yasu before he fell over. "What the hell Sora. Wake up a little would ya?" Mokuba smiled as Sora was regaining his grip with reality. "Here, help me get him upstairs." The put Yasu in his bed and the trio walked back down the stairs and sat in front of the table.

Sachiko poured some more tea for Mokuba who smiled and thanked her. He took a sip, paused, then put the cup down. "Now really quick lets discuss some basics before we call it a night. I don't know what your plans are, but you are both more then welcome to stay as long as you like. Sora and Sachiko you two can sleep in my room tonight. My bed is large enough you shouldn't even notice the other at all, and I can use the couch tonight. If you two do choose to stay I will expect help with the small things around the house of course. I have a spare room that is used for storage for now, Sachiko you can use that one, we can go through it tomorrow. Sora, you can take Yasus room. To be honest I may look after Yasu but he comes and goes as he pleases. He only sleeps here maybe twice a week, more in the colder months. He is used to his life on the farm still so he sleeps outside quite a bit. I have a shed out back the he has been talking about using as a make shift get away for awhile. I have been telling him no because I really don't want to have to deal with it, however due to the circumstance I guess I can make that work. Plus..." Mokuba paused. "Sharing a room with Yasu would be impossible, not if you want a good nights sleep that is." He looked in the direction of Yasus room. "That boy has been through to much... To much to early. It wakes him from his sleep, that's why the boy trains so hard. So that way when its time to bed his body will be to weak to wake up." Mokuba shook his head, "Im sorry, that's not my place to bring stuff like that up. I can take care of this, you two go upstairs and go to sleep." Sora and Sachiko walked upstairs and entered the room. Well Mokuba you did it, you are unmarried, haven't been on a date in probably a year, and now you have three kids... Mokuba threw himself on the couch and when to sleep.
