Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was mid day and Miyako was finally back home and was able to look around and see the beautiful city that Kumogakure had become. With a grin on her face she would pat the psuedo-feelings of sand off of her body as she adorned her tailored jeans and sweater. Her long flowing hair was tied loosely together by a ribbon to help keep it somewhat calm in the fluttering breeze. In her hand she held onto an iced drink made of frothed coffee and a vanilla cream. It's succulent sweetness was a welcomed comfort of home as the Sunan food, while not bad, was not like what she could get here. The cleanliness of the air and the balance of humidity truly made her home feel even more like a utopia.

"Move" She muttered as she walked through the crowd gawking at a dress in one of the department stores. With a bag resting in the crook of her elbow she had already purchased a nice dress to wear for an evening on the town. It was red satin with exquisite detailing and probably cost as much as a years worth of income for a genin in the village, but that was a perk of being the princess of this fine village. Her mother was a woman of status and position which meant that she had the assests and wealth to get what she wanted, when she wanted.

Her powers were still significantly weaker than they were before, so until she felt more confident in her skills again she may as well enjoy citizen life, right?

… People had begun staring at him weirdly. Even after all the time that had passed since the giant changes following Kitsune-sama’s victory over the previous Shogun, Hon was ironically slow at catching up with the cultural electrocution concerning fashion sense. Simply walking through the main street of Kumogakure was now a sort of… attempt at painting a big, red and white bullseye on himself.

People were wearing tight leggings and fancy armaments on top of the lack of haoris and kimonos. No, this had been going on for a while, but Hon’s clan had their residence built in the outskirts – for someone raised there most of his life, he felt so awfully out of touch with trends maturing in the heart of the Lightning Country that his village had become. He was wearing a white shirt with clear, black buttons and black outlines that many Taijutsu specialists wore under their vests, but his leggings were baggy, dark and accompanied by a large cloth that functioned as a sort of… skirt. Like a big, baggy skirt, but a skirt nonetheless. On top of that, his current heterochromia thanks to an implanted Byakugan and an azure-blue crystal ball yanked into his other eye socket – seriously, that was what his own, real and evolved Byakugan looked like – also made him look very… not normal, that was certain.

But what was normal nowadays?! Or did people’s opinion on shinobi get that shanked by the recent incidents concerning the Revolutionists?

Either way, it was lonely. Hon didn’t know where to start, what to do to blend back in with his damn hometown, and at one point, he found himself leaning back against a window to a department store advertising stylish clothing. A deep sigh escaped him as a sign of defeat, and when he turned around to feed his curiosity, he spotted a leather-black outfit – leather jeans, a leather jacket, and a baggy leather hat to boot. “… No... noooo... not in a million years. Stop it, Hon, I said no-”

… Damn it, at least try. Wouldn’t want to be alienated for the rest of his life, after all.

In shameful defeat, Hon entered the department store and was on his way towards the outfit’s mannequin when he spotted the Princess of Kumo herself, visibly looking much better given the news of her conditions from earlier. “Miyako-hime?” he spoke up, tilting his head in her direction with his hands held behind his back, a little confused as to whether her lavender hair set his gears into motion or not, “Congratulations on your recovery, Princess! Hey, you’re looking at clothes too? Mind if I tag along – I kind of need some tips… this kind of fashion’s not my style, but everybody has to change at one point.”
