Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Prison was not what had bothered him over the past moons. Time having been lost to him as beneath the ground within Konoha's true prison the notion of days were lost the mere moment one was brought there. Even the loss of days, weeks or maybe months was not detrimental on his thought process unlike his own conversations of the mind. Considering there was little effort from him to adjust to prison life in the peer association category, Yo had spent his time completely isolated from others by choice. Much was due to him having to completely reevaluate what he knew, what he was told, and what he perceived the world was structured around. Through it all there was only one real conclusion that he could make and it was one that was as basic and primal as they could come. Equality was false in all it's pretenses.

There was an audible sound of thumping resonating through the causeway which was littered with cells on both sides. Each cell designed in such a way that nothing done within could not be seen by either guards making their rounds or other prisoners within cells across the way. The thumping, which came from his cell was due to his fist constantly being thrown into his rolled up bed mattress. Strike after strike after strike, a daily routine that could last hours on end as a way to mask his personal frustrations with his situation as well as keep his body up. It was far easier within these walls and constant watch for many to forget about their bodies and it was something he had seen within first hand. That would not be his case and although the prison had sealed off their ability to manipulate chakra, that had no effect on basic workouts. With sweat dripping from his skin, his focus remained intently on striking the mattress, each punch carrying conflicted emotions.

"How much time has even passed I wonder. Though I guess I shouldn't think to much on it, regardless I am where I should be"

There was no sugarcoating his situation even from his mind least he start to believe his own thoughts. He was here for a justified reason and there would be no point in antagonizing over whatever sentence he had. Something gave when he was defeated at the gates, but it was not his will or strength but rather his perception of the truth that the world was built upon.

It was time to cast judgement, on the man he'd brought in. He had him sealed and chakra controlled while he tried going through different ideas on how to deal with this. However, this was something that he'd put aside for a while... Prisoners of War were just that. He looked through different Bingo books and it didnt seem that he had done any harm to other villages or even civilians. The fight he had with the man was honorable at best. It was Tamashii that took things to the next level, as he could not have a loss on his record when defending the gates. Tamashii was the 'Fire of Leaf', he lived by the self proclamation of being the Will of this place when it came to it. So this was something that he would delve into more now especially since he was no longer the Sennin or even in the ANBU Branch. Umashi gave him specifics on this, especially since it was the one that Tamashii personally brought in... more over proving he wasnt unwilling to get his hands dirty if need be. Battle was something he never would turn a cheek to... and more importantly, he would never turn his back on his people. Even though he was not from these walls... he claimed this place as his home. The place that gave him his true face. The place that led him to know the man he wanted to be...

"Oi... Wake up. Your Warden will be here soon for your official judgement...", banging on the door and opening the shaft to show Yo nothing but his eyes, as they burned with a golden hue through, looking at the man shackled to the walls. This was something... something that they would deal with with a swift hand and an iron fist. He'd await Yuuto the new leader of the ANBU Branch but he wouldnt let this man know exactly who he was... closing the shaft one again the door was sealed and there Tamashii would await at the door... arms crossed and paper work in hand.

It was literally one thing to the next. He got yet another call regarding a situation, but this was from his direct Anbu line. He was being called by .... Tamashii? He got the vibe that the man did not like him for some reason, he may have been jaded for Yuuto getting Anbu Sennin and not he or Hakuren. Truth be told after realizing who she was, more importantly what she was, he was not pleased to have this position. In a way it put a target on his back, or at least thats what this would seem like. Regardless he still planned on doing his duties, it was his obligation as a soldier.

Although some may question the Sennin's garments. He was wearing leather pants, boots, a crisp silk white t shirt, and a black/white striped leather jacket. Yuuto was dressed for a party not a prison, and yet here he was.

He approached the door of the Tea House but it was opened for him. The room was dark, dimly lit by lanterns and women in service robes roamed. Yuuto wasn't sure if this was a prison or a massage parlor, but an older, yet equally beautiful woman addresses him.

"Down the hall, take a right then to the end of the hall.He Your escort will be waiting."

Yuuto listened to her nodding kindly as he realized she was probably a colder killer than him. The Sennin made his way to end of the right hall as instructed, and came to a dead end. It took about thirty seconds or so but he felt a surge of energy. The wall lit up with Glyphs then revealed a new passage way.

He entered meeting an Anbu who would bow lightly then lead him. "Wonder why they report no prison but they have one? Over secrecy to the point you harm security, that's not good. Or maybe they're worried about people knowing about the criminals here but what about when you need to lock up a villager, what will their family say? Most peculiar, maybe they mean to refit this into something else. We could always make this the basis of our Anbu HQ and construct a central detainment center in the Outer Village borders." Yuuto stopped speaking when he saw Tamashii. He walked to the man and then waved his two fingers, "Sup how's it going? Surprised to see we had a jail considering I was led to believe otherwise, but this is a good starting point. What do we have here today?" he asked inquisitively.

Time in that moment seemed to stand completely still as his judgement loomed on the horizon, figuratively. Being unshackled, Yo rubbed both his wrists calmly without any exchange of words from him. For the most part he had been what you would consider a model prisoner, silent and to himself for the time he had remained. Being a man who accepted consequences especially when he was knowingly in the wrong, it would have been outside who he was to deny any plausibility and therefore acceptance of Konoha's right to dictate what could be done to him. Walking outside the cell after the door was opened due to Yuuto's arrival, he would stare momentarily at the man before nodding solely.

"Only took time for a decision to be made it seems. Regardless of what it is just understand there will be no resistance on my end."

That was all he had to say about this whole matter.

(Original post got lost....twice =_=. Sorry for this lackluster crap but yall be waiting long enough)

Sensing that Yuuto was on the arrival, Tama would gather himself smiling to the newly crowned Sennin of Leaf. Well, it didnt at all meddle with the plans that Tama had this was one of the ways that he could see the ANBU Sennin in action, to see his judgement and kill with swift hand to do as he wished with the life of the man. However, this was a hard notion, a man that Tamashii was supposed to kill himself, he didnt at all care about leaving Yo in there to think about his crimes against Konoha. This was definitely going to cause a bit of discord in the village, if this got out that this was one of the Samurai that attacked the village, taking it over had been allowed to live. However, life was such a precious thing... and with all the lives that Tamashii had taken. He would not look to take another just for the sake of doing so. So, there he stood next to the doorway, where Tamashii held the prisoner. "Aye aye. With the village still being slightly rebuilt... these were kept secret I guess, being that you're still a new Sennin, this is how you learned about such a thing.", nodding again. He'd turn to the door.

"I caught this man trying to force his way through the gates. After I stopped him it was revealed that e was apart of the Samurai that previously pushed the shinobi out, leaving the village uninhabitable. After which he initiated a fight which I got the better of him... And brought him here. His presence here spits on the lives lost by the Konoha Push to reclaim this village... However, I left his life in the hands of the Hokage, but this has been passed to you." more or less to test him? Who knew... It didnt matter there were here now... And the decision was Yuuto's to make. "So... What is your verdict?"

Yuuto listened to Tamashii explain the situation. He had subdued this samurai who fought against leaf. A prisoner of war in a way. He wanted to see what the Shinobi were like but to what end.

"Hmm I don't want to make a rash decision but if he's not sorry or doesnt care for his wrongs there is no call for mercy. For all we know this remnant of the samurai could have been here. If this was left to the Hokage but now passed to me, I would say kill your enemy and lets be done with this. Since you're the one who bested him and imprisoned him, why not be the one to execute him too." he placed his hands into his pocket before standing aside to bear witness to the execution.

Nodding Tamashii would then look at the door that held the Samurai Champloo, going over it in his head a few times but he couldnt walk down that path again. Taking lives wasnt his forte anymore, and if he had more blood on his hands he would just succumb to Jashin's will again. "Well, I brought you here to do the work because Intelligence is your branch now. I dont wish to go over your head with anything, so if anything I would like you to do it. So that, in good faith, we can continue this work relationship while I'm still learning to trust you. Also, I cannot kill anyone for the time being because of things I've just gotten over, I'll delve deeper into this but I'm trying to continue my path, and taking a life would just corrupt me... And I would rather not be on the taking end of your sword through my chest... Eh? So could you please?" Tama would chuckle a bit, but his tone was serious as he spoke. He didnt want to... but if Yuuto would insist, he'd make a Clone do it or something, but his psyche was already tarnished to the brink of collapse. So if he did anything further he would definitely circle that drain again...

So there he stood waiting for Yuuto to respond finally... ending this whole ordeal.

Tamashii spoke , Yuuto listened to him. He felt insulted for a moment due to some of Tamashii's statement but on the task of executing this samurai it was obvious what he needed to do. He turned to yo and commanded the man to bend down. He did so, kneeling on the ground and extending his neck. He was privy to what was about to happen. Yuuto threw a puppet blade on the ground and drew one larger for himself.

Yo began the act, unraveling his robes and then bracing himself. It took a few moments, but the samurai began cutting into his abdomen committing seppuku, while Yuuto would end his suffering with a swift cut down the back of his neck. It was over, blood splattering on Yuutos clean jacket, shirt, and face but the deed was done.

"Let me explain something to you. Im not here to impress you and earn your trust. If you feel that intelligence was so important then Im sure things of this nature would be more up to speed. Or the village would be better documented. Dont dress this up as some sort of test for me to earn your trust. We are equals, and the same way you think I need to do things, when do those rules apply to you?

Now I'm going home to spend my time on some other tasks, Im sure you have someone else to clean this up."

Yuuto would leave, sparking one of his herbal cigars on the way out.
