(I've hardly RPed with anyone since NCs been back, and am in desperate need of meeting more people ICly! So please, join me.
Why the humans had decided to live underground, Okibi would never understand. It was dark, damp, cold not to mention you couldnt see a lick of the sky. How could they handle it?
She has lived her entire life in the wilderness of Wind Country, going where she and Number Seven pleased, living the way they wanted. Always the sky had been over their heads, blocked by nothing. It was such a drastic change, to suddenly be without, but... Seven wanted to stay here, so stay here they would. He wanted her to be... 'more human', or so he had put it. According to him, he had done a great injustice, raising her the way he had. She would never complain, nor would she ever wish for the past to be changed, but if he wanted her to be 'more human' then by golly, she'd try.
That's why she wandered the village this day, to see first hand just what it was to be 'human'. Perhaps if she observed those that lived here, she could learn something? Well, a girl could only hope.
Her skills with the common human language were improving, but she could hardly be called conversation ready yet. Whatever she found herself observing today, she decided she would do her best to avoid talking to anyone. No need to make things more difficult than they were.
Her nose lead her around a corner and onto a street that bustled with activity. Humans were going in and out of buildings (she'd learned that thats what the structures were called) some of them coming out with items in their hands when they had previously entered with nothing. The sights baffled, and intrigued the girl. Swiping her fiery hair out of her face, Okibi took a seat on a curb to watch, and shivered. The ground was cold after all, and she was wearing only the things Chiyoko had referred to as 'underwear'. Wearing all that other... clothing was a no go (just thinking about it made her twitch). The underwear was confining enough.
Perhaps she was going to have to get over that... if it had anything to do with being 'human'. Okibi's green eyes scanned the crowds of people, and reluctantly she decided she probably would have to get used to clothing. Every single other human milling around was wearing twice the amount that she was... A growl rose from her throat as the irritation rose in her unbidden.
The unfairness made her want to bite something.
