Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

(I've hardly RPed with anyone since NCs been back, and am in desperate need of meeting more people ICly! So please, join me. :)

Why the humans had decided to live underground, Okibi would never understand. It was dark, damp, cold not to mention you couldnt see a lick of the sky. How could they handle it?

She has lived her entire life in the wilderness of Wind Country, going where she and Number Seven pleased, living the way they wanted. Always the sky had been over their heads, blocked by nothing. It was such a drastic change, to suddenly be without, but... Seven wanted to stay here, so stay here they would. He wanted her to be... 'more human', or so he had put it. According to him, he had done a great injustice, raising her the way he had. She would never complain, nor would she ever wish for the past to be changed, but if he wanted her to be 'more human' then by golly, she'd try.

That's why she wandered the village this day, to see first hand just what it was to be 'human'. Perhaps if she observed those that lived here, she could learn something? Well, a girl could only hope.

Her skills with the common human language were improving, but she could hardly be called conversation ready yet. Whatever she found herself observing today, she decided she would do her best to avoid talking to anyone. No need to make things more difficult than they were.

Her nose lead her around a corner and onto a street that bustled with activity. Humans were going in and out of buildings (she'd learned that thats what the structures were called) some of them coming out with items in their hands when they had previously entered with nothing. The sights baffled, and intrigued the girl. Swiping her fiery hair out of her face, Okibi took a seat on a curb to watch, and shivered. The ground was cold after all, and she was wearing only the things Chiyoko had referred to as 'underwear'. Wearing all that other... clothing was a no go (just thinking about it made her twitch). The underwear was confining enough.

Perhaps she was going to have to get over that... if it had anything to do with being 'human'. Okibi's green eyes scanned the crowds of people, and reluctantly she decided she probably would have to get used to clothing. Every single other human milling around was wearing twice the amount that she was... A growl rose from her throat as the irritation rose in her unbidden.

The unfairness made her want to bite something.

Kuro was out buying supplies from the street vendors as they always had the best singular works of metal, crystal, stone, bone, and elderwood here. Not that Soon's Haven wasn't a nice place, and they did indeed have great deals here and there but it was here inside Sunagakure beneath the sands with our special organic chakra enhanced lights and amid the hard won sun stones that items of unique and invaluable quality were found. There was old Jaffar a sandwyrm skin armorer, and master weaponsmith who fashioned weapons from any material using only his skill, his personal genius, and his twelve sunstone forge now and then to create items that even Dr. Daibatsu Toa (who used the ancient ways of steel and bone) found himself envying. There was 9 finger Danzo who was once one of the most feared Hunter nin in the history of Sunagakure who now ran the best meat shop and grill in the Sietch. Whenever Kuro wanted a meal and did not feel like cooking himself he always found himself inside Danzo's restaurant/butcher shop. It was during one of these wandering slightly hungry days that Kuro heard the mind of woman that was more wolf than girl. That was a rare thing as well so as he drifted from store to store allowing his mind to filter through the myriad thoughts that came to it like the speeches or monologues of someone's conversation; Kuro homed in on Okibi which also turned out to be even easier because of her wild hair, jade eyes, and lack of regular clothing. As Kuro approached he made sure to come from directly ahead so he was easily seen. Flanking a wolf or any natural predator always caused the wrong reaction and would immediately make the beast in question believe you are both a coward and deceitful. Being half demonbeast himself Kuro knew the animal world quite well. Kuro came forward slowly and deliberately as he held forth a saba steak on a stick. Taking a bite first to show it was good, Kuro held the the three pounds of well seasoned, well grilled, lizard meat before the young woman and announced himself.
"I am Kuro, would you like some food?" Simple and direct just like the ways of nature.

The girls inner fuming was fast becoming outer fuming too. Her forehead creased with her mounting irritation, and if she didnt start thinking of something other than having to wear clothes soon, she was gonna snap. No one in this village knew it yet, but her temper was not something to be trifled with.

Thankfully, a distraction in the form of a hulking beast of a human male came strolling to her, directly from the front. Okibi observed this, and wondered if the male knew what he was doing. It seemed like he was making a beeline for her, so perhaps he did. In the state she had just moments ago been in, had he approached her any other way, she might have lashed out without thinking. Animal reflex and all that.

Her nose twitched when the scent of cooked meat wafted by it. It rose into the air, seeking the source of the smell. The giant man stopped in front of her, and offered her the meat she must have been smelling, but not without taking a bite first. If she had heard right, he had also given her his name. Kudo, was it? Okibi rose an eyebrow, and gingerly reached out to take the offered meat. When it was within taking distance, she snatched it quickly and brought it to her nose for a sniff. The action might have seemed rude to a human, but she was unsure of this man, and when unsure you had to act quickly.

The meat smelled alright, although she much preferred her meals raw and bloody. Okibi looked back up at the large dark man, considering, as she took a small bite. It wasnt awful.

After swallowing, she attempted a few words. "Kudo." She said, pointing to him, not realizing she was saying his name just slightly wrong. Then she pointed to herself. "Okibi." There was something else she was supposed to do now... but what was it. It seemed like Sousuke had taught her something to say in situations like this, when recieving a gift from someone... Oh yeah!

Okibi rose the meat into the air slightly, and nodded (it was supposed to be a bow but she wasnt good at that yet). "Thank you." She said, the words coming out a little jumbled and mal pronounced. Obviously the girl wasnt used to talking like this.

Okibi then considered the meat she was holding, and asked without looking up from it. "How get? No prey." As in, there was no game within the village to hunt, at least to her knowledge. The girl didnt yet understand the concept of buying, selling, and trading. Perhaps this human, though he hardly looked human, could enlighten her.

Kuro smiled as she pronounced his name Kudo... he was right she had been raised in the outer world without any contact with man. There was alot of talent that can come from spending your life focused on necessities and not the laws of man. When she asked if there was prey about for him to have such food on his person Kuro couldn't help but smile. "There are prey but not here in the living areas. We have to go to the undersea or the elderwoods to hunt, if we were to hunt close by..."<i></i> Kuro leaned forward in a non threatening manner and took her scent memorizing it before offering the top of his hand. Pack don't shake hands they take scent spoor and remember ally, prey, enemy. Kuro remembered when he was young and he was almost the same as her but he had his mother's distinct vocabulary. Still the memories of freedom and hunting with his father till it was sword lesson time remained forever a part of his being. Kuro's did not offer the underside of his hand because he was not asking permission he was simply presenting himself as an equal and not a threat or a challenge.

Yume mused at the fact that the packed dirt always felt cool beneath her feet as she made her way through the market place. She was picking at a kabob of assorted meats and tubers, dropping pieces down to CuRua who jumped and skipped along beside her. A breeze drifted passed her nose which caused her stop mid-stride and follow where it went. It smelt like… animal but carried a distinct human scent all the same. Seeing her stop, CuRua lifted his nose in the air and sifted through the myriad of odors that were common place in the bazaar. He smelt it too and in unison they looked over to where the girl sat. They approached from the left but in a wide angle so that they wouldn’t appear to be sneaking up on her. They watch as a beast man approaches the girl and offers her food. Yume knew that it was weird for the girl to be so scantily clad, however the discomfort looked to be from what she WAS wearing rather than what she wasn’t. Walking up to her feet in the most unthreatening manner, CuRua goes to sniff at her before Yume gives a feral yip to chastise her companion.

COOROO! That's impolite. Maybe she doesn't want you getting her scent.

You don’t smell like the others. Who are you little miss?

The fox and Yume definately had a less than human scent about them however their appearance, asside from Yume's shoeless-ness, indicated that they were quite domesticated. Yume grew up as near to the surface as was safe and could see a similar desire for freedom in the girl's eyes.

Well, today was shaping up to be a rather good day indeed. Earlier today he finished sculpting the last statue of the order, and right now he was on his way back from the household that orders them, finalizing the deal. It was always quite pleasing to receive gratification for your hard work, be it verbal of financial...though he had to admit lions at this point were neither a real challenge to create nor really inspiring...he always liked portraying humans the most that was the most fun and challenge...but hey, the extra yen in his pocket would be nice indeed.

On his way back home, and pondering on the possibility of grabbing a bite on the way along, he came along a...curious sight to say the least. There was Toranao Kuro, quite a famous man, head of one of the mightiest clan's in Suna. While he did recognize the man as he visited his clan home one few occasions, he was always quickly pulled away by Harupia's father. Always straight to the point with his father...always made him wonder if Kuro was also as strict of a clan head.

And off course what interested him even more was him leaning over quite a young girl, cloth in what seemed to be only underwear. A poor impoverish child? A victim of a prank? Or something else? And who was that other girl with a fox...sniffing the girl?

Well, now he caught himself staring at the trio. That would not do at all. He was the friendly neighborhood Sunaku after all. Quickly stepping in closer he would say "Goodday, Kuro-san! Talking with the youth of Suna I see? Erm, if I may ask, is the girl feeling well? I can offer her my coat if she would like to cover herself some more..." concluding with a soft smile towards the Sennin. Seeing how he was helping carry over the statues earlier, he wasn’t clothed to elaborately, though he did have a nice brown coat on himself. Though he would be quick to part with it if the girl needed it. Granted, the girl in question would probably tear it apart if he tried to cover her...but he couldn’t know that, for now at least.

The large mans words made almost no sense to Okibi. He was using too many that she didnt know, too quickly. Not that it really mattered very much, she decided. For the moment, the girl contented herself with devouring the gifted meat. Before long, it was completely gone and the girl was licking the remnants of flavor from her fingers. It wasnt bad, but she still preferred her meat soft and bloody.

When the human man, whom she just realized reminded her quite of bit of Number Seven, slowly reached out a hand in her direction, she had to think for a moment. For what reason exactly was he doing this? In her lessons, she had learned that sometimes humans extended their hands in greeting towards one another, but the way he was doing it didnt look quite like the way she had been shown. With raised eyebrow, Okibi leaned forward and gingerly sniffed the mans hand, memorizing his scent, before grasping it with both of her significantly smaller hands and shaking it up and down enthusiastically. She was, after all, trying to practice being human.

She was then approached by another human, a female this time, who was accompanied by a little canine creature. It was... by the sands of the desert, it was a blasted fox! Okibi couldnt help growling when the animal came up to sniff her, even though she knew that the fox sniffing at her wasnt the same sort that had frequently stolen her food while she had still been living in the while. Still, the discrimination was hard to shed.

"Back off." She growled at the animal, speaking in the language of beasts.

When the human woman that was with the fox addressed her, Okibi tried to get a reign on her temper and stood up so she could move away from the fox. She didnt bother dusting her bottom. Only a few of the words the woman said made sense to Okibi, but she was pretty sure that she was being asked for her name again. Lifting her chin proudly and flipping her wild hair out of her face, she patted her chest. "Me Okibi." She glanced down at the fox and frowned. "No like foxes."

With yet another introduction out of the way, Okibi started to circle the two people who'd been attracted to her presence. She studied what they wore, how they held themselves, and what they smelled like (though she had already done that with the man). She'd come out here to study the humans, and with two of them standing right in front of her, how could she pass up the opportunity?

Being the bold young lady that she was, she brazenly touched both humans hair and clothing, taking in the feel. Whether they liked it or not, she didnt much care. If they wanted her to stop, they could say so.

When yet another human male approached, smaller in stature and lighter in skin tone, Okibi immediately went on to sniff and touch him too. He was talking to the other male, which might have meant they knew each other. That wasnt what interested her though, what did was the smaller males scent. He smelled of sand.

While letting her nose get intimate with the males arm, she half listened to what he was saying to the big human. Again, only half the words made sense, but she picked out a few that instantly made her jump away from the group. 'Cover herself', he'd said. She heard that loud and clear, and often did while she was at home with Sousuke and his parents. Cover up, cover yourself, put this on, put that on. She had heard all the phrases enough times to know what they meant! They wanted her to put clothes on.

"No!" She shouted. "Hate clothes!" She glared at the newest human like he had some sort of plot in mind. Really, for all she knew, he did.

Kuro noted that she had attracted a great deal of attention and with that it was time to head back to the dojo. He had memorized her feature's and scent, she would not be hard to find in Suna. Content with his introduction and smiling from having received such an earnest handshake. Kuro waved goodbye as he pressed on to the Tower of Bone in order to restock some of the kitchens at the dojo. "I will see you again young one. Be safe and have fun."

Kuro noted Harupia's greeting but didn't have time to stay and chat any longer. " I will see you later as well Harupia-san, your family does great work for Suna. Don't bother offering her your coat she will be just fine as she is."<i></i>

Kuro smiled earnestly at all the young people coming to Okibi's aid and to introduce themselves.
As he was leaving Kuro chuckled as he heard the girl cry out "No! hate clothes!!"

Memories of his hunting days filled his mind ever so briefly as well, yes when he was a young cub Kuro had hated clothes as well.

CuRua goes to hide behind Yume but when the girl gets up and advances to poke and prod at her, he thinks better of it and moves a few feet off so that he didn’t invade what personal space she… never mind. Apparently she didn’t know what personal space was; at least not for other people. Yume let the girl inspect her cloths and hair by spreading her arms wide with palms facing up. The girl would notice that she was wearing a blue halter top, waist belt holding kunai and shruiken, and light sandy brown capris. Her turquoise hair held her Suna headband over the top of her head and was tied at the base of her neck, underneath her locks. Her bangs hung asymmetrically over the left side of her face but she had tucked them behind one ear so as to not shield her sight. On her right cheek were small red fang marks. If Okibi was so ‘uncivilized’, she probably wouldn’t know that they were indicative of her Inuzuka heritage but she would pick up the smell of fennec all over. Seeing the anger and mistrust in the girl’s eyes at the mention of clothes, Yume steps in and tries to talk to her, however the language that she uses would be more of a fox ‘dialect’ of the beast tongue than how Okibi talked.

Miss, you don’t have to cover up. Others might find it strange but you are not exposed… showing anything bad. There are clothes you may be comfortable in but they are not like these.

With one hand, Yume pinches and tugs at her shirt and pants to indicate what ‘these’ meant. She worried a little that Okibi might misunderstand her meaning with the difference in speaking and didn’t want the girl to feel threatened.

If you want, I could show you. You do not have to accept and can say you don’t like it. You should never be forced to be uncomfortable. It’s why I don’t wear shoes

There was no accurate word for ‘shoes’ so Yume just lifted her foot up at a right angle and wiggled her naked toes and then pointed at Harupia’s feet to show the difference.

Hmm...It seemed Kuro-san must have been busy...or he simply was to short for the large man to notice. He didn’t really mind...he always heard only good things about the massive Clan Leader, he guessed he just needed to attend to some other matters sooner then later. For now there was this...peculiar child to think about. Not only did she sniff and poke around the other girl and Kuro, she also approached him without much ceremony. Still, he didn’t really mind, though he wasn’t sure how to react. He just stood there as she sniffed and poked around, trying to not make any sudden movements to scare the girl...he wasn’t sure why but she seemed to be a lot different then most people within the underground village.

Then the sniffing suddenly stopped, and she jumped back, stating how she hated cloths. Well, that was...even odder then before. But he raised his hands in a soothing manner saying "Ok, ok, no cloths, no cloths..." trying to calm her down. He heard about wild child’s...but he always though of them as work's of fiction...huh.

As nice as it was for the human lady with the light hair to offer to show her some clothes she might tolerate, Okibi still shook her head fiercely in a distinct denial. "No. Hate clothes." And she was going to remain in as little of them for as long as she could possibly get away with it.

And it seemed like although the subject of her lack of the essentials had been brought up, none of the current party was going to try to force her to put anything else on. Seeing this, Okibi quickly calmed down and returned to circling the two remaining humans who approached her. She started with the male, stopping behind him so she could sniff and touch his hair. It was long; but thus far she had not seen such long... pretty hair on a male (Im assuming its pretty Polly lol). Raising an eyebrow, Okibi shuffled around to the front of him and looked the man up and down. "You male yes?" she asked, just to make sure.

Then she turned to the female human, and looked her up and down, taking in the differences. Her eyes stopped at chest level, and bugged just a little. What were those big lumps on her chest!? Certainly, she saw that grown females had such things there but... this one possessed such large ones! Were they swollen perhaps!?

Taking a few steps, Okibi stood beside the fox scented woman, being sure to stay away from her companion. Gingerly, she poked at the side of one of her chest lumps. "Sick? Go healer, yes?" By healer, she meant the hospital. It had been nearly a miracle, how quickly they had healed her and Seven. There just had to be a way they could help this lady!

A sudden thought struck Okibi, and she jumped back and threw out her hands. "Wait!" She said loudly. "You rude. What names?" She declared, and asked at the same time. She called them rude because neither of them had given her their names, while she had already given hers twice thus far. That had been one of the first things she'd learned in her etiquette lessons. When meeting someone new, introduce yourself, and they will introduce themselves as well. If not, theyre being rude.

Yume’s face went a bright shade of pink, cheeks flushing as Okibi poked at her breasts. The girl was rather young and not really too developed herself, not to mention Yume was rather well endowed for a ninja. It wasn’t on purpose; it sort of ran in the family as her mother was the same. It was part of the reason Yume became a med-nin, it just wasn’t reasonable for her to be combat intensive.

Okibi, they’re called breasts. I’m not sick… they’re just bigger than most. Naturally that way… like how some people are tall.

With a jump, Yume scooted back a step at the girl’s outburst. She was RIGHT! How could they be so rude, assuming that this girl was uncivilized when they hadn’t even given their names? With a bow from both Yume and CuRua, the introductions begin.

How impolite of us. I am Sagasu Yume and this is my companion, CuRua

CuRua doesn't often get the chance to speak for himself but due to the Okibi's knowledge of animal speak, he decided to give it a try. Harupia would just hear the yips and sounds of a fox, but Okibi should be able to understand them.

I didn't mean to offend you earlier by getting too close, please forgive me. I'm not sure what my brothers have done to cause such mistrust, but I assure you I'm more civil than they.

Well, the girl seemed adamant about the no clothing bit. Fair enough, he wouldn’t push it...though some other people might not so understand...then again; she seemed to have made some rather strong friends in the village...so he would guess she would be fine either way. As she kept on inspecting him, prodding and sniffing at his frame, focusing on a bit on his hair, he rose a brow at her question, before letting out a small laugh as he said "Why yes, I do happen to be a male. I just don’t enjoy cutting my hair unless I really need to..." he explained. He wasn’t sure if she understood the concept off cutting hair...especially after seeing her call the other women's bosom some kind of bumps. While he let out a small chuckle, he held in any comments, not wanting to offended any of the involved parties.

He raised a brow at her outburst, but he had to admit, she had a point. She did say her name a few times, it was proper to give the same. After the women next to him introduced herself, and after her dog barked a bit towards her, he would say "My apologies as well. I am Sunaku Harupia. It’s a pleasure to meet you child. So, I can I ask, where am you home?" he concluded, trying to make the question rather simple. She seemed a bit awkward in conversations, but he assumed home would be a strong enough concept for her to understand.

Okibi listened to everyone's introductions with her hands fisted on her hips, like a teacher waiting for answers from her students. She accepted what Yume said about her chest lumps, explaining that they were normal for some people. She looked down at her own flat chest momentarily and wondered if she would end up looking like the blue haired woman. The idea was met with an unsure emotion.

Shaking those thoughts from her head, she tuned in as the Yume woman's foxy sidekick pitched in with an apology. Okibi looked at him sideways for a moment, as if calculating something. Then, without further adieu, she knelt next to him and poked at one of his ears. With a serious face, she looked the fox right in the eye. "Wild foxes steal Okibi's food. Before she and Seven come here." She tried to explain. Her eyes narrowed, calculating again. "Wont steal?" She asked of the fox.

After getting the foxes answer, she would stand back up and look to the male as he introduced himself. He smelled of sand and flowers, which was odd, because she couldnt remember the last time she had smelled those two scents together at the same time. In the desert, there were very many flowers growing in the sand. As she did with the fox, she narrowed her eyes at him, wondering.

"Hadoop- Hadoope-... Hadoo!" Okibi for some reason had a hard time pronouncing his name, so decided to shorten it to a simple Hadoo. "Real male? Dont smell like." She declared bluntly, looking him up and down. For the most part, aside from his long hair, he did look like most males she'd met so far... but his scent was throwing her for a loop.

I won't steal from you. I promise.

The fox stretched out one paw and brought her nose to the ground in a small yet respectful bow but couldn't help but snort out a laugh at Okibi's mention of the boy's smell. Both he and Yume had seen 'pretty boys' before but Harupia was quite elegant. Perhaps it was best to save the man from further humiliation. Yume smiles at his attempt to simplify his questions but had to stop herself from laughing at how juvenile he sounded. The girl would never learn to speak properly if no one spoke to her like an adult. Her next words were in a proper language that Harupia could understand, occasionally identifying her words in a bestial tongue for clarification.

Okibi-chan, what Hadoo means is where do you live? I live in the residential housing... family den area and I'm a MiT... a healer in training still learning.

To indicate where she lives, Yume points over in the general direction of the residential district. Her and Shinji lived together in something like a townhouse where groups of 10 or 12 residences were clumped together side-by-side and set into the rock. These were constructed in a 'cookie cutter' fashion and all consisted of a kitchen, bathroom, and living-room/dining room in the lower section and two to three bedrooms on the upper floor. Their home was number 5 so it was in the middle of a grouping.

Well, it seemed the conversation was heading in a more calm direction now...even if the child decided the fox was a more interesting conversation partner then him at the moment. Maybe it would make more sense to him if he understood the animal, but yet again, he found himself at a disadvantage. Though it was curious two members of the animal speaking clan met each other...and yet none of them seemed the entire familiar. He used it was somewhat like with his family. The bloodline spread out, giving him a lot of cousins he had very little to do with...still, it was nice to see her find a common tongue with the fox, hehe. And the girl seemed to have some animosity towards the fox kind... with the wild ones at least. But what was a girl doing in the wilderness? And how did she get to Suna?

All questions aside, it was good to see her safe and sound. As she spoke to him, mispronouncing his name somewhat which caused him to chuckle, which did soften the impact of the small girl questioning his masculinity? Though he didn’t care that much, he had his father do that more often then he'd like... he simply liked being clean, what could he say. Shaking his head with a small smile he would say "Yes, yes, Hadoo is male. I wash often. Use...herbs to smell nice" trying to make his speech simply. He felt a bit bad patronizing the grill like that, but it seemed like she had an easier time understanding words in that way. He would then say "Yes, home, den. Family...pack, companion. Are you alone, or are you in a pack?"

Somehow, Okibi had not even realized that Harupia was asking her where she lived. Perhaps his phrasing hadnt made sense to her and she just wrote it off or something. Who knew. Yume clarfied for her, and also went so far as to tell Okibi what it was she did. She would be the second 'healer in training' that Okibi met, the cat lady Kimi being the first. Okibi turned to Haru, who reiterated his question, just as Yume had. She rose an eyebrow high into her hairline, wondering why it was these people felt the need to repeat themselves like that. She'd heard the question just fine the first time. Just because she wasnt very good at speaking yet, didnt mean she couldnt understand them well enough.

She decided to just laugh it off. If anything, they were only making themselves look silly.

After letting out a few chortles, Okibi turned in a circle, looking for the structure that she called home part of the time. She stopped when she spotted it, looming in the distance, and pointed to it. The Kazekage tower. "Okibi live there, with Number Seven and Sogay." She said. It didnt occur to her that these people wouldnt know who Number Seven was, nor would they be familiar with her nickname for Takahashi Sousuke, the steward of Sand.

Nevertheless, she turned back around and smiled at them like she expected them to.

There was a saying, speak of the devil and he shall appear. This seemed to fit just perfectly to the situation as a large shape started to emerge from the shadows of a nearby alley. This immense canine creature stepped into the light and considered the group of humans and fox. His child was making friends was she?

He didnt need to say anything as Okibi was already turning to look at him, having caught his scent just before he came out of hiding. She grinned haughtily. "Seven slow. Why find Okibi only now?" She teased. She'd left the Takahashi household a good while ago, leaving nothing but her scent as a clue as to where she would be. Only now he was finding her? Ha! The size of his nose must all be for show.

The horse sized doberman, Number Seven, gave her a look. "I was taking my time. Staying to the shadows and following your trail at the same time isnt exactly simple." He then turned to the two other humans, and the fox, nodding to each of them. "Greetings. I hope my human hasnt caused you much grief."

Yume mumbles the nickname around in her mouth for a moment with an arched eyebrow before realizing what the girl was saying.

Sogay.. Sog... Sous... Sousuke. You live with the steward kazekage?

Her curiosity was immediately overridden by instinct upon seeing the large canine. She and CuRua both bowed deeply to him but kept their eyes on his feet in case he made any sudden movements. His alpha nature was very apparent to them aside from the fact of his size. They were foxes and were known for not being strong fighters. Even in the Inuzuka clan they were seen as weaker, although they preferred to see themselves as smarter. They would seek tactical advantage over brute strength any day. This imposing figure in front of them seemed to have both. Standing straight again, Yume addresses who Okibi has identified as Seven.

Quite the contrary, Sir. She has been darling to become acquainted with. I’m Sagasu Yume of the Inuzuka clan and this is my companion CuRua. We are very pleased to meet you.

To be honest, Yume was a little surprised at the eloquence with which Seven spoke in comparison to Okibi's broken speech. It in turn brought out an attitude of respect and formality in her that she wasn’t used to.

He blinked a bit as the girl laughed at them after staring at them with a confused look. He guessed it was a bit amusing, them repeating themselves over and over...but when it seemed she didn’t understand, it was kind of hard to react differently. Still, in the end it worked as well as he wanted it, as the girl revealed just where she resided...the Kage tower? What the...he had no idea who these men called number seven is, nor who could be this person with a slightly...effeminate name. That is, until Yume, though somewhat interesting dedication, proposed that the girl was indeed living with the Kazekage himself. Hmm...curious indeed.

What was more curious was the appearance of an enormous hound, which moved itself towards the small girl. Before he could really react, the girl spoke to the dog...and it replied, and in a rather wise sounding voice to boot. So, this was this Number Seven she spoke of...quite an impressive hound indeed. As it addressed them both, he would give him a small bow before saying "Sunaku Harupia, pleased to make you acquaintance. And no, your companion was no trouble at all. It was just surprising to see someone so younger wander around alone...but I see she was in good care all along" he concluded with a small.

Okibi puffed up her chest and nodded at Yume, affirming what she asked. "Yup. Okibi and Seven live with Sogay, Juju and Chichi." She said with a nod. Number Seven shook his head at the nicknames the girl had for their makeshift 'family'. He wondered... if she'd come up with any for these humans. If anything, he was pretty sure she pronounced their names wrong, as she had a habit of doing.

Although the pair had already introduced themselves, Seven just had to ask, to see what she would say.

"Okibi, what are your friends names again?" He inquired, looking down at the girl with just a hint of a doggish smile. It looked more like a grimace really, since his large teeth got in the way.

Okibi looked up at Seven with a raised eyebrow. "Seven get old if not remember what just said." She then pointed to Yume, CuRua and Haru respectively. "Yoomay, Kooroo, and Hadoo." She said, over pronouncing and mispronouncing a few things. Seven snickered quietly before nodding, accepting what she said.

Turning back to the humans plus fox, Seven nodded his head once more. "It has been a pleasure meeting you Yume, CuRua, Harupia. But I'm afraid Ill have to steal Okibi from you now. It's nearly her dinner time." With that being said, he nudged the girl with one of his large forelegs, urging her to say her goodbyes.

Okibi made a face, and looked at her new friends sadly. "Okibi was happy meet you." She said, bobbing her head in her form of a bow. With that, she jumped onto Seven's back and waved one last time as he started away from the group and back into the shadows.
