Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It would seem that from time to time that Bruinetto would encounter a scenario that continues to get the gears in his head spinning while performing a task at hand. Today was just another in his line of work completing a mission assigned to him. The duty he had been assigned as essentially an escort mission. Typical run o the mill task but the one he was guarding was a Shadow Priest by the name of Al-Haquish. While protecting an elected official, an aristocrat, or even another shinobi would never have gotten him to raise any sort of questions but this person in particular would. When it came to the idea of metaphysics that was where the logical mind of Bruinetto would begin to constantly question things. The idea of believing in something based on a “feeling” or some sort of “dogma” was irksome to him. While you could argue that Bruinetto follows the “dogma” he would find in a science book but everything you could find can be verified through experimentation. The world he associates with deals heavily with the process of developing a hypothesis, testing, analyzing if it matches your hypothesis, then coming to the conclusion of whether it matches along with why or why not it doesn't. Simply going on the musing of faith without certifiable evidence went against with how his mind worked. So while the priest was focused upon his “hocus pocus” which was doing whatever it was to “heal” the lake all he had to do was stand guard in case he was attacked. In the mission it stated to be watchful of demon spawn, or even djinn spawn. It would seem cliché if demon spawn were to appear here in the midst of a priest. So far, it seemed that nothing out of the ordinary was happening. However just when you aren't expecting anything, something will attempt to catch you off guard.

A strange wind passing over them would alarm Bruinetto as he would jump to the ready as his eyes flickered quickly into his Sharingan. A voice calling out to him, but there was no body to accompany it. “Ooooo, your awareness is quite high. Not many can detect my song.” To which Bruinetto would reply, “If it wasn't attempting to conjure up an illusion, I may not have noticed it. You choose the wrong medium for trying to attack me.” His eyes illuminating invisible sources of chakra he would see a strange looking signature floating in the air. It's chakra circulatory system was unlike that of a shinobi or a human for that matter. “Cannot say I have ever encountered a Djinn before.” Making himself visible the Djinn would appear; He was blue skinned, wore golden bracelets, dangling gold earrings encrusted with jewels, wore his hair in a ponytail also sporting a beard, wore a sword at his side, and had a long smokey tail instead of legs. “Do you really have anything to gain out of this? Can't you just, let this all go?” The Djinn seemingly insulted barked back to Bruinetto. “The priest is disrupting my work here. I am using the lake to conjure a doorway for my master. I will not fail my master!” Apparently, his master had the power to spawn him into this world but not bring himself through. A fight could not be avoided.

The fight had been a long and grueling affair, as his techniques were unlike anything he had ever dealt with before. The composition behind the chakra and the forms he utilized with it were unique in their own right. Watching over during this battle he may have to make note of them and try to emulate these things in his research. Perhaps there was something to have been gained from this mission aside from a paycheck. With the Shadow Priest finished with his work it was time to head back to the village having finished the job.
