Yet again it would seem she would have to wait for her questions to be answered. Megumi’s patients was wearing thin on the idol, as she brushed off her question with the same usual grin. Listening to her as she talked about how the exam would be run. While she did not appreciate the idol belittling the genin exam, as it lowered her accomplishment. It was the second easiest step in the path of a shinobi. Understanding that it was broken into two parts, a written and field test. Watching as her examiner leaned over and tapped her finger on the blank paper, Megumi would see ink forming into the questions of the test. Thinking about what the idol did as i did not seem to be an ink ninjutsu, perhaps a genjutsu. Yume must of placed a genjutsu on her while she entered the classroom, in the guise of surprising her.
As Yume started the exam, Megumi watching the idol carefully as she sauntered back over to the teachers desk. Seeing her take one of the books out of the bookshelf behind her and carefully steading the rickety bookshelf with her other hand as if she was trying to make a scene to get her attention. Looking at the book it seemed to be a textbook which was odd as she could not see the idol reading a textbook to pass the time. Thinking about how it might be a hint on what the test could really be about. However there was no point gathering knowledge you already have, and thinking about how she might be under a genjutsu still it felt too obvious and more like a trap for her.
Looking at the test it was pretty basic, however she could spend years and never fully answer them. Even if they were the basics, but just like in everything the basics were key. Any good shinobi knows that an expert that forgets the basics can be beat by a novice. It was a trap that many foolish shinobi fall into when they get their new toys.
Q1 Everything was a weakness and a strength, it is why most shinobi tend to shore up the weaknesses of their main form of fighting with another.
Ninjutsu is one of the most devastating forms of offense and defense of a shinobi. However it comes at a great cost and is taxing on one chakra network. One could overwhelm their enemies with an onslaught of powerful attacks, however if they are in a war, using all of your chakra on one foe leaves you at the mercy of others. Ninjutsu also requires hand seals minus special exceptions to the rules, but if you disrupt a ninjutsu users chakra flow they will be at a great disadvantage.
Taijutsu is the fastest and most used style of the three, as all shinobi use taijutsu in some form or other. While it does not require any hand seals and is much faster to do than the other to. Taijutsu is taxing on your body and stamina, and if performed incorrectly one can injure themselves quite severely. Taijutsu especially ranged and projectile, are heavily dependent on tools and ammo. Close range taijutsu users also are at a disadvantage as the have to close the distance to attack. Even so expert taijutsu users are extremely dangerous at their respective ranges.
Genjutsu is one of the most under used styles of the three, as most opt to focus on damage. However that is not the only case as genjutsu require extreme chakra precision and a keen mind. A master of genjutsu can control the battle and have their enemies at their mercy. However genjutsu has the most weaknesses out of the three. As it can be countered in many ways, such as breaking eye contact in a visual genjutsu. Cutting off your flow of chakra, being affected by outside forces such as pain, the touch of another and some have said that even a strong enough smell could break the hold. Genjutsu is best used on a single target, but you can also trapped a group, but this increases the difficulty of holding the line between your genjutsu and reality.
Q2 As is stated in the previous question, genjutsu can be dispelled by. Breaking eye contact in a visual genjutsu. Cutting off your flow of chakra, being affected by outside forces such as pain. Also those with certain genetic traits tend to have a higher tolerance against genjutsu, but of course a intelligent genjutsu user can use their confidence in their natural disposition to genjutsu against them.
Q3 As the amount of uses in all three of those fields would take our entire lives to discuss and we would still not have discovered them all. I will state to events an offensive and defensive use of the styles.
Ninjutsu has the most options for defensive and offensive uses, as you could use earth to create a wall to protect you from flames or fight fire with fire and cancel them out. Most ninja only have a select few of the elements at their disposal and have to make do with what they are giving. As a water users could pressurize the water and create a deadly offensive attack or encase themselves in water too slow and disperse the force of a attack.
Taijutsu is at risk to both ninjutsu and genjutsu. Though their bodies are hardened from the amount of physical training they put themselves through, and are usually much more hardy than the rest. Their speed makes up for the lack of defensive options as the are quite difficult to hit with attacks. Once they use their speed to bypass the enemy defenses and attacks. Their devastating blows are unrelenting and usually lead to the end of the fight.
Genjutsu is not as straight forwards as the other to. As it is not meant to damage like the other to, however the damage that genjutsu can cause, is often irreversible as the effects on the mind are not as easily fixed as the body. If you're using genjutsu on a foe, you should have no need to focus on defense as they should not be even aware of you actual position and should be off fighting what you have charmed them with. Offensively you should be barraging their senses and leaving to in a vegetative state.
Q4 The main chakra points are in the crown of your head, your forehead slightly above your eye line. Another in your throat as well as the middle of your chest. Another in your solar plexus, lower abdominal and pelvis.
Q5 The way that the Hyuga, block your chakra flow, is by attack your Tenketsu otherwise know as your chakra points. The chakra system works similar to your blood stream, and you would solve a blocked chakra point the same as you would solve a collapsed vein. Stop the flow of chakra at that blocked point and slowly ease in a small amount of chakra at a time to reopening the pathway.
Q6 A shinobi must always put the mission first. A shinobi must see the hidden meanings within the hidden meanings and A shinobi must prepare before it is too late to.
Q7 Seeing more than what meets the eyes, is how you would detect any unknown dangers to your home and friends. Also seeing past the what could be simply ignored by others, could lead to new discoveries and ways to make the village and yourself better. If you took everything at face value and never questions or dreamed nothing would ever change, for better or worse.
Finishing her test, she would look over her work than look back over to Yume, that was still reading or pretending to read the textbook. Flipping the paper over she would wait for the exam to end or for Yume, to see that she was finished. While she was disappointed in the fact that their were not any questions on puppeteering, she would understand that giving her a test on something she was already knowledgeable of would be pointless.
