TODAY IS FIGHTING DAY!

It was time. Maki had to get to Tea to do this, and he honestly wasn’t sure why he’d been picked. While he had full faith in his abilities, he hadn’t really shown them off to the other members of the village. Still, he was selected, so off he went. A quick trek out of town, through the countryside, and a ship ride over would work. Or he could go across land. Take long but….more serene?

He stood now at the gates, waiting on a guard to let him out. In hand was his passport to go to the tournament.

 

[Tatsuo]

Tatsuo was on gate duty, as he had been a lot lately. He noticed as Maki came by, the same guy who spared him that same time. Even if he was still a bit scared of the man, he was undoubtedly grateful. "Can I see the passport and you can be on your way."

 

[Kairyuu]

Maki hands over the passport, thinking he definitely recognized this one. But it was fighting day, and his mind was on other things, like punching his opponent right in their handsome face. So he wasn't really focused on the person before him, so much.

 

[Tatsuo]

After giving a quick glance of the passport, the picture looked right so he smiled and nodded and let the man off. "Good luck, bring home a win!" Tatsuo would declare as he watched Maki walk off. Whistling a tune to himself as he moved back to the seat, enjoying the nice weather they're having that day.

[Exit Granted]

 

[Kairyuu]

"Doot doot doot, got my fighting gi on, cause today is fighting day!"

Maki takes the passport back and nods. "Will do!" Then he begins his trek out of the village, out of his home, and out to the world of fighting and violence.

Who was he kidding? Plenty of that here, too.
