Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Blinking the blur from her eyes to a new day, she lays for a small moment of hesitance to leave the warmth of her Bet. "Right!" She practically leaps out of it, donning a dressing gown left hanging on. Today is going to be different! she thought as she rushed down stairs to the kitchen in order to prepare breakfast for the family. I'm finally going to be returning to ninja work, something she'd think as she bet eggs, milk and a little bit of cinnamon into a bowl while frying bacon. She dipped in bread to the mixture and fried it too, in a well practiced domestic ritual, before she knew it. Thunder toast for the whole family!.

Ill get to it right after i finish the chores, she thought as she quickly scrubbed the dishes, her parents entering the room already dressed in their ninja gear, they sit down to eat in a slightly rushed manner. "Thank you for breakfast Tsuruko, Can you please mind the shop again today?" Her mother would ask. "Okaaay" I guess i can still try training afterward.

A short time later, Tsuruko waters the plants of the shop while wearing a green , uses her blood and chakra to cultivate their private grove of nightshade, harvests, extracts and distills poisons in between manning the front of the shop with a pleasant if slightly pained level of customer service. All the while, This is fine, after this, ill finally get back to training again.

After work, she'd swing by the archery range, something she tended to enjoy as a method of calming her mind. Its okay, just a small break before training. Donning a small archery breastplate, she practice her somewhat unusual archery technique. She pulls her arm from the sleeve of her ykata, she holds the bow in her dominant hand, she crosses nocks the arrow with her bow at an angle while standing with the target to her right and letting the arrow rest against her knuckle. Though she'd often been told she was doing it wrong, this method somehow felt natural to her, easier to pull the string of the bow as she exhailed and twisted to the right, pulling the bow with the strength of both of her arms and all the muscles across her back. She'd loose the arrow, paying little conscious attention to where the arrow fell, followed by another and another as if in a trance only broken when she notices that the shadows of the sun had traveled to the point it was inconvenient. The realization comes with a gasp of surprise. "Oh no! I still have to get home and get ready for training!"

She gets home as the sun is setting, hurrying to the stairs before she realizes shes hungry... "Just one more thing" She'd prepare dinner for herself too. Cooking enough for her parents if they were to return. Six onions cut up and just as many cloves as garlic, added to a pot to caramelize in butter. Add mince and bezil, salt and pepper. Once that's cooked for a bit, three cans of chopped tomato, two grated carrots and a whole heap of oregano. That should cook for a about hour or so, she finally ascends to her room. Its night at this point, she pulls a trunk from benieth her bed with her old shinobi gear and starts by trying to fit her old armor, a body suit with ninja wire criss crossing through it. It's a major struggle, shed grown a bit since she last wore it, leading it to feel pretty tight around her chest, but it'd have to do. Atop that, her custom fitted garb that resembled her yukata with one sleeve removed to remove its interference. A breastplate to keep her bowstring clear she'd work on checking and maintaining her tools replacing expired poisons and replacing old silly ideas with newer ones as the scent of dinner pervades her room, letting her know when it was ready.

Back down to the kitchen, she boils some spaghetti to serve, pouring some of the meat sauce over them on a lonely plate with a sprinkling of cheese, she doesn't bother setting places for anyone else. Once she finishes, stores away the leftovers of the food she prepared, she steps out of the house with a yawn, already tired after a long day. "You know... Maybe lets get started tomorrow"

A week later, Tsuruko lays again in bed, this time she didn't have the responsibility to man the shop, after all not only had her parents returned, but she was nursing a cold that left her head hazy, and her lungs feeling if they'd been infested with ants. She coughs and rolls over yet again, unable to find comfort as she is left alone with her thoughts.

Her mind swims with memories, the sting of the mark applied her collar still aches, to think it was applied by her own brother. She has a hard time blaming him though, hes the ideal ninja of the leaf, hes been shaped and trained to be what he is. She seethes with hatred for the leaf for the moment, for trying to train children into killers, never having understood why it was necessary. But her mind wouldn't leave her with such a simple emotion, no it had to be something wrong with her. Afterall, everyone she loves ends up like this, treating her like shes worthless, shes the common element, it must be because she is!

"Okay! Training time!" She bursts out of bed in a desperate attempt to escape her own mind, she kneels down, wiping some wetness from her nose as she sniffs. She pulls the trunk of gear from under the bed, forcing herself into her outfit, pushing through her fatigue through sheer "Willpower"... Is that the will of fire everyone keeps talking about? Why not. Okay, lets go!

Tsuruko would then spend the rest of the day running herself ragged and somewhat embarrassing herself to most people's expectation. Tired and shivering from fever, she'd have trouble aiming her bow. She clumsily trip when leaping from tree to tree, and naps in the sun on a big rock when she was supposed to be meditating to channel her chakra.
