Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Recently in Kumogakure a system had been set up for shinobi of all ranks. Even once a shinobi had left the academy, they were always learning. Though perhaps not of the Academy Student rank, a good shinobi would always be a student of Ninjutsu. So, the village had set up a system for its shinobi to learn from one another. Rank was not important. Jounin could be tutored just as much as Students could. Students could be tutored in addition to their classes. One did not have to be an Academy teacher to participate as a mentor. In order to encourage the growth of the program, even Ayumu had volunteered some of his time to mentor now and then. This was one such time. It had been a while since he had done any teaching- not since he had been ANBU Sennin really. Years had passed and he had been the Main Branch Sennin for a while, and now here he was as the Raikage of the village. To get back into the swing of things he put out an offer for tutoring for Students or Genin. As it turned out he had received an assignment of one each.

Instructions had been sent out to the two pupils to meet Ayumu here in the Obstacle Courses of the Aurora Erudito. He wasn't too keen on teaching anybody in a classroom if he didn't have to. He preferred to do something a bit more casual and interesting than listening to a lecture in a stuffy room. Upon reaching the obstacle course grounds he chose one of the open fields that were frequently used for safe testing of NInjutsu. It was a wonder that any grass remained on the ground in the field. There were empty patches, areas where the grass had been cut by Wind Jutsu, scorch marks where it had been burned by Fire jutsu, and signs of a number of other maladies the poor field had endured. Here students could let loose and not worry about property damage. It was a good place to have an outdoor tutoring session, Ayumu thought. He hadn't fully decided what he would do yet, he'd have to meet the pupils first, so he sat in the middle of the field twirling his thumbs as he waited for them to arrive.

[Post your arrival and we'll get started! The goal is at least 5 posts per participant and 1500 words minimum so keep that in mind!]

Haruka was running as fast as she could down the path to Aurora Erudito, she was late, as usual. Her father had told her to study before her first time with a tutor, but Haruka was pretty easily distracted, and in only a few seconds she could find herself doing something else from what she was supposed to do. Before she finished what her father had told her to do it was getting late, and now here she was, running, because she couldn't wake up at time. She stopped right before the obstacle courses, and straightened her creased clothes before entering. She couldn't see the other student yet, she was told she had to work with a genin, and to be honest she was pretty excited about it. Hopefully she wasn't late, and that was the reason that the other student yet had to arrive.

She walked towards the tutor with a big smile on her face, revealing her apple cheeks. She was happy, and nervous. She didn't know what the tutor expected of her, she didn't master any jutsu at all, she could only barely perform a weak water gun, and that was it. She was sure that this genin could perform a lot of jutsus and was really strong, she couldn't wait to meet him. She stopped in front of the teacher and looked up, with an even bigger smile. "Hey, I'm Yuki Haruka, but I guess you already knew that" She said and scratched the back of her head.

Whats all this about a new system? Ren wasn't sure, but he could put two and two together. His days learning at the academy were not over when he graduated. Why even have a graduation ceremony Ren thought as he meandered lethargically down the street to Aurora Eruditio. Slipping the mostly empty pack of cigarettes from his inside coat pocket to his hand Ren shook them and pulled back the flap. three cigs remaining. With a sigh the pack was returned to his pocket. The walk to the Academy was so familiar at this point, the type of familiar where you lose yourself in thought only to arrive at your destination with absolutely no recollection of the journey. fleeting thoughts floated back and forth and Ren approached the Raikage twirling his thumbs in the grass. Overhearing the tail end of the young girls introduction Ren replied grabbing the attention as he walked up. "err, hi Haruka, wonderful to meet you. I'm Ren." He bowed low enough to make his mother proud and then turned to the Raikage to repeat the same bow without anymore words.

Ayumu was wearing his usual dark uniform, the clothing he had become accustomed to and felt most comfortable in these days. It was surprisingly flexible so it worked well for action. There was a bit of a chill this morning so Ayumu had donned his light coat which kept him warm enough. As the first student showed up, Ayumu rose to his feet and brushed his backside off clearing a few blades of grass away and then looked up at the student who was smiling brightly. She greeted him and introduced herself though she was under the impression that he already had hair name. Actually, he hadn't received names in advance so he was glad that she had provided it anyway. He returned the smile but before he could respond the other student arrived, greeting Haruka and bowing to both of them along with offering his own name. "Great, you're both here. I am Kogami Ayumu, it's nice to make your acquaintances," Ayumu said, nodding at them with the smile that remained on his face now.

"I am here as a resource for you both today to teach you what I can. Is there any subject in particular that interests either of you? Taijutsu? Ninjutsu? This isn't going to be like a class, we'll go over what you're interested in personally since there's just the two of you here. Oh, but don't say Genjutsu... that's not my specialty!" Ayumu said, opening up the floor for them to speak their interest for the tutoring session. Of course if they didn't really have an idea, he knew what he was going to talk about. Perhaps he'd save it for the end if they had requests upfront. He slipped his hands into his pockets as he waited for their responses.
