Behind closes doors, a meeting between a supernatural and his mistress continued...
"The ANBU Sennin? Are you certain?"
"Yes Mori-sama. I am sure of it. To put it frankly, he defeated him outright and without hesitation. What was more interested was that he let him live, yet killed his subordinates."
"Was he acting under orders? Has another player entered the game?"
"I cannot be for sure, but it's possible that someone was speaking to him through a headset."
Her nails clacked against the desk she sat behind.
"I will speak to Masahiro. Find this man and deliver to him a message to come to this location if he seeks allies against whomever his enemy is. And, Oda-san, it is likely the ANBU sennin is now residing in the intensive care unit of the hospital. Have Fuun pay him a visit. If the opportunity arises, take him out."
"Of course." he replied with a bow, disappearing through one of the walls.
Before her sat a map of lightning country with several pegs laid across it. There was a iconic piece on what appeared to be a railroad, along with what looked like a pawn from a chess board. Aside from a few more pawns across the country, the only other noticeable piece was a large icon to the south of the country. Additionally, to her right was a map of the village of Kumogakure. There were far fewer pieces in play here than on the map of lightning country, but none of them were of the pawn variant.
Hana moved a pale hand towards a piece on the map of Kumo. She picked it up moved it towards a building noted as the Aesculapium; that particular color of this statue was blue in color.
