Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

In my slow and laborious search for knowledge, I found myself sitting within the village’s library once again. Unlike the many times before, I wasn’t reading through basic literature or trying to teach myself advanced sciences or mathematics. This time I was submerging myself in a world full of history – The History of Kumogakure to be exact. Many things about my homeland fascinated me, but what I cared about more was the demon invasions that eventually lead to the Ishikawa fleeing across lightning country. But, I knew so much about this event that it only seemed like a waste to continue reading about something I already knew. It was thanks to Kioku that we knew what we did.

Flipping through book after book, eventually I came across something called “Ancient Kumogakurian”. Thinking back, I remembered my days at the academy and how I attended a class about clouds history and the sensei at the time spoke about this language. Intrigued, I continued reading more about this language. Before long I realized, this language was barely ever used. In fact, aside from that one class, I never heard mention of it again until this point in my whole life. Pushing all other books aside, I got up and went searching through the library’s hall ways for a book that would help me learn it.

During that time, I eventually found out there were two variants of this language. One that was open to the public and the other, only the Raikage himself could approve of someone learning it. Brushing that off, I collected several books about Ancient Kumo and began to read them. Day in and day out for two weeks, I spent all my free time learning just the alphabet all while trying to learn how to properly enunciate each letters sound. The following weeks after that, I began testing myself on writing in the language and using flash cards in an attempt to see if I could remember the letters sounds from memory alone. Θα ήθελα να δανειστώ λίγο γάλα. From there, I continued to try and read in the languages tongue. Το γάλα μου έχει πάει ξινό και θα ήθελα να δανειστώ κάποια. My studying would continue for at least another few months before I graduated from basic sentences to more advance ones. Not only that, but at this point I was no longer following the book. I was using the knowledge I had previously memorized and began to write my own sentences. Αυτό το γάλα έχει πάει ξινό! Γιατί θα δώσει αυτό για μένα.

While I did know how to read and write it at this point, not everything was entirely clear to me. I was still learning and focusing as much as I could. I was determined to learn this language not only to where I could hold a conversation, but to where it was like my birth tongue. Before long, after about nine months of studying, I was now fluent in the Ancient Kumo. Ορκίζομαι, αν έχω να πάω το γάλα τις θηλές μιας αγελάδας θα το κάνω. Now that I accomplished what she I out to do so long ago, it was time for her to relax. I was going to go have a nice dinner and read a book, if I could spare the time in my busy gate schedule.

#3: This milk has gone sour! Why would you give it to me.
#4: I swear, if I have to go milk the teats of a cow I will.
