Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

What a dance it was, right? It was like you had to be skilled to waltz around the words that someone said in such a manner. Then again, it did not take very much to simply sit down and ignore everything that a person said to forward another's own advances. It seemed that all the Sennin but Hissori were a bit upset in this case, and that almost made her chuckle. It was one thing to be upset, another to demean another person's stature and standing. At his point, there were two people in the room that struggled to do even that without causing a fit of laughter at their expense. With one leg crossed over the other, hands folded in her lap as she sat back, comfortable as her crystalline blues examined the people encased there within the room, she would proceed with a small smirk. Let them embarrass themselves. After all, if someone did not listen to the words that another person spoke, they deserved to turn blue in the face at their speaking. The first problem that Haruka could address was that Kamaru did not know all of the people of his branch, whereas Haruka could name a vast amount of faces within the village. Immediately, the man would be crossed off of her list. Pulling out a notebook, she would flip it open and place it down. In her hand, she would grab a pen and begin scribbling down little factoids that Kamaru would provide to her. Her blonde strands of hair would fall down over her shoulder and she would move her unoccupied hand up to brush it back to fall down her back. Obtuse, unable to listen, did not have a personal connection with those within his branch... Those were the first things that she would place down within the unlined pages of the notebook and she would lift her gaze up, one eyebrow raising as he continued on with his tirade. How long would this take now? It was a surprise that people were still awake within the room. Surely he had his concerns, but they were obsolete concerns that would've been wiped away if he had actually listened to what she had stated. Another laughable thing, right? Mhm. Clearing her throat now, she would tap the pen against the paper. Long winded... Another thing that needed to be written down. "I do not need your forgiveness, so do not forgive my bold nature." She would suddenly state very plainly, her voice filling the room with much more than his ever could have.

"But what do you know if you do not listen to a word that I state? You seem to be indebted to your past endeavors, to what you have seen prior to when we have been seated here." Lifting up her pen, she would point it in his direction now. "I need none of your long winded speeches filled with nothing more but speculation, trials, tribulation. You did not listen to a word that I stated when I entered this room, so the fact that I am even gifting you with a response is out of my good graces alone." Her tone suddenly became frigid as she watched him. "This is the issue. You and your companion are both subserviant to a force by which I cannot see. That's unfortunate, but I will not let whatever force that may be impede any progress that this village could have had in the time that you all would elect wasting our precious time here within our walls. Without a doubt, this must have been why your previous village failed." The woman would now purse her lips, the ice within her eyes only hardening with the ire that the man was offering to her. "And what is considered outsider filth to you? For I have worked very closely with this so called outsider filth that you attempt to address to me. Let me be the very first to state right here, and right now: To both of you, you do not know me, for you have only seen the political side of me. Do not get your facts twisted, nor get yourself too hyped up. I may have attended the same academy lessons with Endo, but you do not have any right to lump me in with a man whom has threatened our illustrious village. That is ignorance in it's finest stance, and I will have you removed if you do not find yourself thinking about what you say before you say it." She could very well toss this pen right between his eyes if she so felt like it, but because she was calm, she would not. After all, did there need to be more chaos? No, there did not. However, it seemed that Megami and Kamaru were incredibly intent on making even more chaos in the light of these situations. Thankfully, there was good old Buru there to make everything feel a bit better. Her hands would scratch at the back of his ears as she stroked along his fur. Something to keep her calm in the midst of all of the stupidity that was running rampant within this situation. "I'm sorry that you've had to deal with failed Daimyo in your past, but that's not of my concern right now. So don't act like your terrible experiences in the past are going to impede my future here."

"Although you tell me that our best options are throwing our strongest men and women into a cesspool of fighting and even more chaos, I'm going to repeatedly tell you that you are wrong for thinking such a thing is necessary now. You are wrong in your speech, and you wasted your duration of your speech because you chose not to listen to someone who has had far more experience leading a country than both of you two combined. What have the both of you done with your time in finding that Endo looked to begin a war with us, his people, as the instruments? You sat around. You did nothing but idle talk. And we all know that the talk of a fool is cheap." The pen would continue writing along the notebook, putting down more and more little factoids that she would come across now. It seemed as though Megami was in a similar boat as Kamaru, as both opted to not listen to her as she entered. It seemed that the only person here with any kind of sense was going to be Hissori. How strange, right? Listening to the speech that Buru, the dog oddly enough, would put down in front of all of them, she would shake her head just lightly in amusement. Hands upon her shoulders would cause her gaze to be cast upwards and she would find herself now looking at the man known as Nakamura Hira, and she would reach up, placing her unoccupied hand overtop of his. Support, no matter where it came from, was amazing. It simply meant that she was doing something right here, and the two "Sennin" who chose not to listen were finding themselves falling further and further into a pool of bullshit and lies that they filled themselves. It seemed that they, not only extruding it from all of their orifices, were quite full of bullshit. That much was not going to be Haruka's problem as she took on the power that she had laid claim to. Do not make one person do all of the work whilst sitting on your backside. It just made people more and more irate. Her lips would twist into a small smile, even as Koyoko and Gasu would find their way into the fray here. The more, the merrier, the more people who showed up, the more chaos. Not something that Miss Haruka was not used to at this point. Clearing her throat, she would lift up her gaze to look at Koyoko.

"The two may stay. Nakamura Hira is the blood of my blood. He may take whatever stance he wishes, and it seems as though Ryujin Gasu is the blood of your blood as well. I have no problem with my people being here, and if the Sennin find any issue... They need to re-evaluate their policies towards their people." Bringing her hand down, she would press it to her chest with a small bow of her head, a clone materializing from the ice that ran through the woman's blood. The clone would step through everyone there, reaching out to attempt to place a hand just lightly against Gasu's shoulders. Through the clone, Haruka would speak: "Your opinion, no matter how young nor what rank you may be, is valued. Please always remember as such, Ryujin Gasu. You may stay here if you so choose."

"Hissori-san, please. Take a deep breath. All are welcome if they so choose." Haruka would convey to the Medical Sennin as she offered a small smile in his direction. "And your words make much more sense than anyone else's here, if I may add. It seems that we have someone in our midst that is stable of mind." She would speak out of surprise. It seemed that the village had done something right in choosing one of their leaders. How strange it was that a Mist born would be the one to show so much more common sense than anyone else sitting here, and he had not even been in the position of power for long enough. Now, it left her mind to wonder what Keita had been up to at this very point in time. Hmm... "We must understand that no matter what Megami and Kamaru say, they have seen nothing but failed leadership. Not only in the mirror, but in their Kage as well. They forget that they are expendable in every sense of the word." A small, sarcastic laugh would leave her amethyst painted lips as she addressed the two of them with her narrowed eyes. Even if she did not leave this place as the Kage, she would make sure that neither of them would live to see their coronation day if they attempted. After all, why let people who did not listen, who were ignorant, and above all else, within Endo's cabinet, to lead? They may have very damn well been in accordance with Endo, but perhaps she did not need to lay that out on the table? Ah, it couldn't hurt now, could it? With the pen draped across the paper and her stature sat straight up, she would press her lips into a harsh line now. If they continued pushing their ignorance and ill advised notions, they would probably soon find themselves within a scroll all their own as well. However headless, she would digress from such thoughts. After all, you never knew who could be a mind reader in such situations even if it was absolutely improbable to be. With the entrance of yet another shinobi hollering about her transgressions, Haruka would push herself up to a standing position, one heel tapping against the ground as she stood, and she would lift a hand, the clone that had been created to console Gasu dissipating into a pile of ice shards now. She would drag in a breath, and release it in one swift motion of her diaphragm and she would withdraw a scroll that had been bound at her hip now as she looked around the room.

"Dear, if you are to call me a bitch, I would nyx the 'lady' you so gracefully offered in the beginning of your speech. I did not do this to offer myself fame, nor glory. I did not ask for money in return for killing Inu Endo." She tossed the scroll over to Kitanai now as she looked over at the woman. It was the scroll that contained Inu Endo's head, and the woman could have it if she so desired. She could claim to have killed the Kage. That did not bother her at all. It gave her no worry in the world. "I killed him so I could ravel up the red threads of fate that Endo had been weaving. I killed him because he attacked me." Laying her hands down on the table, the woman straightened up her back. Her spine would pop rhythmically at her straightening up and she would close her eyes for a moment. "I did it to protect my family, my friends, and my people from war. So be it if the underworld finds it more than necessary to fight me, for I will fight every single one of them without a single issue. No one knows the means that I will go through to defend this village and country. Anyone who claims that they do know may find themselves going to hell for lying." She would clear her throat now and she would place herself back down into a sitting position. Kitanai could have the head of Endo, that didn't bother her. Carrying grizzly reminders of death was hard for Haruka when she experienced the joy of life given to her in the form of her son. Even if death followed her non-stop, then she would continue her fight. It didn't matter to Haruka if she had to skin her own hands raw to defend these people. Even if they would not accept it. She would push herself into the fire and the flames for these people and simply offer them herself in return. It was not something that someone in a blissful state of ignorance such as Kamaru or Megami could see. After all, they were not the ones who had to dirty their pristine hands to make a statement within this village. "You do not know what I know, so do not come in here and claim that I don't know the deep and dark parts of a village exist. It's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the village and country that I once governed. I have fought with the creatures of the night. I have danced with devils to save the things that I care for such as one of my team members. There are more fuels to the nightmare here than you could fathom, and I have been up close and personal with many of them. So be it if they wish to fight me once again. I will give them one hell of a fight, whether it be with my fists or my words." Steepling her fingers, she would place her chin down on the bridge that they had made and she would look around the room.

"ENOUGH!" The woman would speak loudly, "Who are you to tell these people to leave, Ryujin Koyoko? I want them here now, and you will leave them here, or escort yourself out. I already made it clear. Hira, do not threaten harm against the woman for I know that her intentions, although misguided, are pure enough." She would look around the room and rub at her temples. This was okay with her, but she wondered just how long people could hang on within the chaos. "All men, all women, they all deserve to know what happens with their village. This is a very simple fact. I wish that you all would see it as well, or does your secret-ism spell out your loyalties to Inu Endo?" Tapping her finger against her lip now, she would lean back with ease. Her arms wrapping carefully around Reishii, she would give a small smile. Okay, she was fine. Especially with her insanely adorable adopted daughter around. It did not bother her, but if a fight broke out, she would show absolutely no mercy at this point.

"Oh, you know, Rei-chan, I'm just dealing with the chaos as it comes. This is no party, but rather just a pissing contest it seems." Hah.

"Now, will you all allow me to do as Medical Sennin Ii Hissori stated, or are you still going to push a notion of pitting all of our strongest into a battle while battle may be coming for us? I can argue why that would be wrong to do all day long, you know."

[ I had about 2k words before you guys chose to jump ship on any kind of posting order, so I'm still following through with that. ]

Several more people came in succession; it didn’t really help her case unless it was to spin the conversation in various ways off topic. It seemed people came in one after another requesting the three to put aside their points of view and stop thinking about things logically and just roll with it, from a self-declared Kage, to someone casting out insults and requesting assistance at the same time to endorse her to a child. And then it turned into a circus. The fact some came in to get the child and apologize for his brash words and behavior was actually the first normal thing to happen since Hissori had stated something. Until the child threw what boiled down to a temper tantrum. It did concern him about the boy losing his arm so he pulled out paper and pen and jotted down a note of this boy Gasu to review the details. He find out the entire situation and do something he figured he’d never have to do at the academy… have a parental conference. After that the stranger needing add continued. Hissori seemed to know him. Then it went from talking dogs to everyone piling in to see what was going on or just to say ‘hello’.
Standing and clapping his hands to get everyone’s attention Kamaru buttoned his jacket as he stood and smirked slightly it was like being at the academy in here and getting crowded.
”Well this has been fun. Since this isn’t a family event if you two…” Kamaru started pointing at Reishii and Gasu, ”Would please leave. If you’d actually like to make an appoint to discuss something with the Sennin please do so, this is currently not the time though. If you would like to socialize I’m sure once we actually resume the meeting and finish all parties will have time to socialize. Ryuujin’s I’ll look into the matter that seems to concerns of the younger one. And in truth although Hissori is right you would have been stuck in a sticky situation either way. But you’ll have to wait it seems, I’ll try and get back with you on a later date. We can discuss other things as well when the appointment comes around in regards to your family and duties.”
”If you’re here with grievances against Haruka miss lodge a formal complaint and make an appointment to see her when she’s done with her or all four of us. This is not the stage for such things.” Kamaru explained looking to the young lady Kitanai.

”If you’d like to know what’s going on since you’re interested in the subject you seem to know some of the people involved you don’t really need to be here to find out though so I’d request that you leave as well.” Kamaru explained looking to Kane.
”Arrogant or foolish it matters not to me really how you regard me personally I don’t really feel a need for people being overly respectful so I don’t really need to do so in kind or offer you up the same basic respect your probably feel you deserve. Rules of hospitality might not be in accordance just be aware. If you’re her vassal I can understand her well being concerns you and her actions concern us. In regards to the meeting though we’d like to have it in private so if you need her to order you out so you can leave I don’t mind waiting.“ Kamaru explained to the first newcomer after Haruka.
”You look at your actions how you want Haruka and so can Hissori. If my interpretation is wrong I’ll get more information and reevaluate. Since you seem ready to invite yourself and you really seem to want to be in the meeting and you have a tight schedule take a seat for now I guess. You’re going to have to give me something better than what you’ve shelled out so far.” Kamaru explained motioning to his own seat, ”Either people can clear out and wait so we can discuss and do our jobs. Feel free to stay Haruka if you like but if you want a snap decision on this I don’t think you want to know what I’ll shoot from the hip with. The short answer is you probably won’t like it, your foreign aid I don’t know what they’ll think.” Kamaru stated.

(OoC: Since there are extra people clear out please. Lets see Megami we need to send word about a messenger, Ryuujin’s I’ll make an appointment for a parent teacher conference to discuss things nd to discuss Kage Guard stuff afterward if you like, If you’d like to lodge a complaint file one please Kitani, if you’d like to listen in Kane feel free to talk to Hira, Haruka, Hissori, or set up an appointment to discuss things with me later, Haruka if you’d like to stay stay, it’s a Sennin meeting and you invited yourself in, you can either let us come to an agreement or have us make a snap decision. I had a bit more when it was less people but formatting and adding in will be a bit rough so I’ll go with the shorter post to keep this moving.)

News of Endo’s death seemed to permeate through the village just as Akechi had arrived. Sure, he had run into a little trouble at the gates, but it was nothing that he couldn’t handle. Just a little finesse seemed to take care of the trouble before it really began. Well… that sort of trouble anyways. In his line of work, especially considering the path that he had walked, Akechi’s life was packed full of calamity. Haruka seemed to bring some calm to that. Even as their lives seemed to be thrown into disarray, they found managed to find solace within each other. Wasn’t that what life was all about? Maybe it was a clique but that was what Akechi was fighting for. It was the whole reason he had managed to survive for this long, clinging onto the ideals of a child that had been reborn by the flames that burned him.

Understand. What the world could accomplish just by understanding one another. Though they were polar opposites, Haruka and Akechi were able to find love in their differences, and embrace adoration from their similarities. Weren’t all relationships the same way? Love and companionship. Solidarity and camaraderie. Peace and tranquility. Simple understanding and communication could obtain all the fleeting desires of humankind. Akechi was in search for that understanding. Too bad he had to fight through layers of malice, deceit, avarice, and pain to get there…

Well that… And parties…

Wasn’t that what this was? The man garbed in a simple but traditional Uchihan robes softly made his way into the meeting hall in the Spire, and found himself met with harsh words and political posturing. Fun stuff. He couldn’t make out what everyone was saying (he arrived too late, after all) but the amount of vitriol being spewed around the room was evident. His beloved Haruka had made an announcement, and crashed a party by bringing the “head of the party” as a party favor. Seemed all agreed that Endo was a tyrant, but the rules of ascension seemed to be nonexistent… or at least challenged to some degree by the greed of complacent amateurs. After all, weren’t they to blame for the current state of their village? Surely, Endo couldn’t have caused such calamity on his own. No, that’s an impossible task. Even if they believed themselves powerless to stop him, their cowardice and blissful ignorance had gave birth to such a monster. If avarice and vanity were considered to be the worst of all vices, then the pusillanimity was their matriarch.

After all, complacency and cowardice are what breeds these types of vices, and allows them to fester in the innards of mankind…

”It seems that I missed my invitation.” The proud Uchiha quipped, loud enough so EVERYBODY in the room could hear him despite his cavalier tone. There was his darling Haruka, Sir Kane, people that looked important, a kid, another kid with a clown face, a Ryujin sister, a rather angry woman, and another man that claimed to be a vassal of some sort. Yeah, that was all he could make out. It was a party, and it was clearly time to mingle… or interject…

Or interrupt.

His stance was rather casual, leaning himself against the back wall with folded arms as he shook his head in disbelief… I mean, he couldn’t believe that this was how “leaders” acted. He couldn’t believe that the world he lived in were at the mercy of these “children.” Sunagakure. Kumogakure. Konohagakure. Iwagakure. Even Tsukigakure… All of these villages were ran by people like this… incapable of listening to or understanding one another. It was appalling and also shocking to him.

”You are getting nowhere because you refuse to listen to one another. Honestly, I’m baffled that you people were able to survive this long. Then again… while you were squabbling for the scraps that Endo laid in front of you to satiate you, he was quietly but most assuredly facilitating a war.” Akechi said simply, clearing his throat before continuing. ”I should know. You could call me an advisor, and also an informant… at least when I found out what he truly desired from his war. After all, I consider this my home now. I didn't want to see it destroyed.”

I suppose it was time for a finish. Short and concise…

”Trust me or not, only one person in this room raised a finger to save your village from a tyrant… from the cancer that plagued it.” He then pushed himself away from the wall, taking a step forward, and extended a hand in Haruka’s direction.

”She stands before you. She deserves your admiration. She deserves your allegiance. Kono Haruka is your savior. She deserves to be revered as such. If you want to survive that is…”

Umm, there were so many here, so many different people migrating this way. I follow one of the familiar ones to a building reaching high. With so many people trailing in, it would be silly to miss the opportunity to assess them. Our quest to find 'the Maidens' would be simplified by coming here. Oh wait Goganji, don't enter their room...the neighboring room. Let them have the talk among themselves. Just listen and look through the this hole in the wall you drilled in with your finger. Hmhm, peeping tom? Who is this Tom? For I... am Goganji!

[Trying for stealth by not being in the room.]

[OOC, I was going to enter this thread a while back but decided that you had enough headaches. Now I see that I am the only headache not here]

Zenichi was tired of waiting for something to happen. The village seemed like it was near collapsing from inactivity. It was as if all of the activity and focus was settled on one specific place. It was an eerie feeling walking about. There was an event that no one was going to and the hospital was barely staffed. In fact, the only real activity Zenichi has saw in the past week was at the Academy. He was too old to be hanging there, would get some weird looks if he tried to talk to any of the children.

So here he was, at the heart of Stone. Looking for someone who wanted to by information on Moon. He had made a pretty penny in Suna and he hoped a few more coins came from Cloud on the same info. Hoping for a hat trick, he was here at Stone to line his pockets more. As he reached the offices level, he noticed a lot of people and a few animals were crowding the room. As young man (Ryujin Gasu) was attempting to leave but Zenichi stopped him to ask him a few questions.

Do you know where I can find the Kage of this Village?

(One thing Zenichi, I already entered... but I will walk over because you walked in)

Gasu looked to Zenichi, walking over because he needed a break. He hated how ignorant everyone was, basically anyone on Haruka's side was actually listening while everyone else was just zoning out and just ignoring the kids and people who have ideas and thoughts. The teenager looked up to the mercenary, and he said, "...That is under dispute, but the majority currently wants Haruka, but 2/3rds of the Sennin are ignorant of facts and ignoring the people who they think "don't matter". The blond haired girl over there is Haruka, she is the closest to Kage material we have." Gasu sighed, he refused to leave because this was HIS future, this was HIS village, and he wasn't going to let these sennin mess up his future. He wanted peace, but he was willing to fight and murder to keep his family safe. But the stubborn kid looked up the merc, thought for a moment, and then decided, that is what he had to say.

Gasu stepped forward, and he said a phrase once more, "I know you people do not want me here at this meeting! You believe me as a idiotic child... most of you do. But if you want to force me to leave, doesn't that show you are ignoring your OWN village? I am a ninja who is trying to relay information, but only a few of you are honestly heeding my words! If you try to ignore my words, and shove me out... I will make you listen. Because if you remember, we all are a part of this village, and if only a hand full of ninja are controlling all of a village's choices, who has no- wait a second..." He thought about something, before he lifted up a note and used his gravity ninjutsu and sharingan to pilot the note to a very important person. Gasu said one last thing before he held his tounge, "If you sennin ignore the very people infront of your face, how can you give aide to an entire village?"

She wasn’t too far behind the robed Uchiha. More particularly, she had been following him since their entry within Iwagakure. You probably would have questioned as to why considering he was an 'ally' of hers? And the simple truth was to find answers. They had a mission but they both had other priorities that conveniently coincided but by how he reacted to the sudden announcement of the demise of the Tsuchikage, the man nearly vanished from before her very eyes. Was the Tsuchikage that important to him or was it something else? Nonetheless, she was going to find out one way or another. She needed to know what compelled his eager return to Iwagakure.

But trailing him was no easy task. Actually, knowing him she was sure to have already been spotted but his concern was obviously elsewhere for now. The Spire was the final destination. It made sense. If there was any place to attain answers it would have been there. After all, it was the point of origin of the original broadcast. The woman had entered the room but she didn’t say a word amongst the other participants. She had no reason to. There was far too much being said to a very controversial issue. But unlike most people, Kudaranai had grown to learn to assess before acting. Something her turtle-kin would have been proud of.

“Fascinating..”, she merely thought to herself after she listened to Akechi’s profound praise of the young woman known as Haruka. So much so to call her a savior and for this people to provide their allegiance towards her. Kudaranai didn’t know much of Iwagakure’s principles nor their history for that matter but there was something here that immediately clicked. Her rosy colored eyes would immediately stare at the blond knowing well there was some type of connection between them. Be it friend or acquaintance. There was some kind of association.

“So it was you…” The woman would mutter to herself. A crude grin would be present on her lips. Silence was all she had for now. She wasn’t going to interject at least not yet. But it was a slight surprise to the see yet another familiar face amongst the lot of people. It was none other than the man known as Kane. The Cleansing Flame surely was a unique organization in more ways than one.

"That answer is simple young Gasu!"

Not bothering to use chakra to make any sort of theatrical entrance, I simply used the front door like everyone else. It's what all the cool kids were doing now a days. I'm sure everyone knew that I'd show up here sooner or later and looks like I did so in good timing. Never mind two of the members of this party were under me and their actions here would impact the clan as a whole... I am that clan... It would seem that a rather important meeting was being held after Haruka, I believe, made a rather gutsy announcement. Oh, to be young again! It's something I would have boasted in my younger days. Iwa has definitely the spunky youth as displayed by this Haruka...

I looked around the room to access the situation and something wasn't right. From what little I heard and from what I am seeing... wow... could it be? Did the sennin know? Ha haa haahaahaa! How amazing. These people weren't just here as mascots to promote Haruka. If I didn't know any better, and I do, I say they were here to insure she attained the power she so desperately seeks. I'd bet that if the sennin continued to deny her, she'd use her forces gathered here to intimidate them to her will. If the leaders of Iwa are that weak then she deserves to rule. The queen of cowards, catchy. I wonder if that's how she disposed of my good friend Inu. Did numbers grant her victory? Even if that were the cause, Haruka has proved her case to me at least. Inu was not fit to carry the title of Tsuchikage if he could be disposed of so easily. Haruka and her gain has caused shame on the Ryujin family by successfully killing the man my daughters were sworn to protect. I don't bear ill feelings for her because of. Actually quite the opposite. Perhaps the truth is out now. Inu did not bind my daughters to him for protection, ha ahaahahaaa! It was to protect him from us... to make sure we remain loyal to the village given our unpredictability and lust for battle. I see the cursed blood surely taking it's toll on young Gasu. What was keeping the Ryujin on a leash now? Inu... you were not the strongest among us but you were definitely the smartest. Haruka, the strongest among us... another lie. Most evident here where she is finding comfort with friends. The strongest can stand on his own two feet.

Funny to hear this bickering. Something I'm not use to at all. Back in my day we'd slaughter those who spoke out of term. Such disrespect here... these foreigners all spitting on our traditions. More than half of the shinobi in this office, even in the seats of power, aren't even Iwa born but refuges hacking their opinions as to how we should run our village. It's seriously like a bad joke but... even as a joke... I'm not finding it very funny. The strongest among us, a foreign shinobi? How weak are the people of Iwa if this to be true... I must take responsibility for my part in this chaos. I ignored my village for my cavern, digging diamonds and golds to richer my house. I'm no better than any foreigner in this room. It's because of that, that I choose to remain silent. I have been silent for so long already, how disrespectful to my home, to Inu, to the citizens of Iwa, for me to break my silence now. This village belongs to the youth... but can I really continue to sit by doing nothing? If this village goes to hell, my daughters are apart of the generation to be affected by such calamity... it's for that reason alone that I must not remain in silence. I will speak, not as a shinobi of the old age who has abandoned his people for profit but as a father of the new generation.

"Gasu, leading this village is more complicated than hearing the voices of a few foreign shinobi. If you are so passionate about the future of this village than prove it. Prove yourself in the ritual for the right to rule. Regardless of what anyone feels or how little sense it makes to a foreigner, this ritual must happen to prove who is truly fit to rule. The winner is ordained by our Gods to lead the free people, not by a congregation of men. Gasu, don't leave this village's future to someone else. The tomorrow they are choosing is not the tomorrow you set out for. You... by yourself... choose your tomorrow. Face Haruka and anyone else for the right to rule! Fight through them... continue to fight through it and protect the village! Show us a path for those behind us... The dreams of those who have fallen... The hopes of those who will follow. Those two sets of dreams weave together into a double helix, drilling a path towards tomorrow! Remember... the closest we have to kage material is not some foreigner with prior leadership experience on her resume but *Places index finger on Gasu's heart* right here."

Many who had heard my words to Gasu may have thought that I was joking but... he would know. He would know just how serious I was. I would entrust the future to a hopeful youth with a good head on his shoulder because that was a pure heart one could believe in. A spunky youth unafraid to stand for what he believes is right. My vote to Haruka was lacking due to the fact that her previous village had "Frozen."

And, so there! Her statement was made! And now she could waltz out with her head hig--Damn! Kitanai turned her head towards a purple haired man, dressed in some fab-u-lous! traditional robes. He spat at her and talked about turning her into a corn on the cob for his dinner. She raised her eye brows at it, seeming pretty unfazed by the frightening aspect, but surprised that someone would speak that way in a group of very powerful people. "Damn, calm down." Kita moved towards him, but one step and a sword came between her and him, and straight to this throat. Kita scrowled again. What the hell was wrong with these people. Swords and threats, and chaos, really. "Hey hey hey!" Kitanai yelled over the commotion of talking and nonsense, "Put the butter knife down, babe." She said to the young woman--who was bossing people around, when she was not a sennin either. Kids nowadays... ugh. And apparently, the great Haruka felt the same way. Kita turned towards the snowy blonde who commanded them around. She certainly didn't take her time when controlling the situation. And surprisingly enough, Haruka defended her-- even after she addressed her as Her Highness the Bitch.

But a man had a different opinion. He decided that taking her time to write a note no one would ever read was a better idea. That was because they both knew that there were plenty of complaints, and no one in a fancy office chair gave two shits about anyone's opinions nowadays. Talking to her like some sort of child who needed to be flicked on the nose. Men, men, men... everywhere, in fact. Even entering through the door right now in Uchiha robes. Kitanai turned her head, eyeing him--and this eyebrow raise? A little more curious than the other ones. He was cute--a little loud--but cute. And he knew how to give a speech. By the end of it, even the black cat was rooting for her by the end of it. She would have cheered--had it been her style. But it appeared he had a companion trailing him. A pretty little barbie girl. And by the time someone else entered, she was already leaving.

Everything was becoming a crowd. This was far too much for her--and she was one who was normally up for a round of violence and doing lines of dust off the table. But as another one came in and poked a young kid in the chest a few times. And talked about some sort of foreign leadership Haruka had. What the hell was he even talking about? "Ya'll are fucking nuts," She grumbled as she pushed past the Uchiha and out the door. Total nonsense. And stupidity.

Kamaru looked around the room and shook his head.

”For someone with experience in leading you do realize this isn’t the best of presentation for your pitch. Instead of getting an endorsement from the Daimyo and getting people of this country to back you you seem to think killing the Kage and getting foreign aid entitles you to something. If you really needed us to declare you Kage somewhere in that ‘cunning political brian’ of your’s is telling you to realize you don’t have any entitlements or there’d be no need to bust into the meeting and make demans. With the group of people that seem to think Haruka should be Kage they dismiss the facts at what they’re saying. We should dismiss public opinion and tradition, killing the current person in the position and get foreign aid to back you is the way to do things from a logical standpoint is a great plan, it’s not. It creates a more vicious cycle I believe by design or through lack of thinking things out. These actions are by no means to look like a coup or the setup of a puppet government in Stone. Since you don’t want people to read between the lines, don’t look at these obvious statements said as such in this meeting. It also sets up the policy and precedence regardless of where you come from if you kill the Kage of Stone you get the title which never has been the case but don’t think about it too much, bring in foreign aid to strong arm the idea or policy as well… if that’s really how it worked you wouldn’t need us to declare you Kage now would you…” Kamaru simply stated. ”If you want me to listen to her words you want me to listen to the same excuses and misdirection and for the most part a bad con that you’ve already told me. Also I, or we need to play the parts of easy marks as the Sennin of Stone to say, oh yeah this sounds great lets do it doesn’t make sense but you talked a lot with conviction. She doesn’t meet the minimum requirements.” he added before looking at the other two Sennin.

”I grew tired of this circus and to be blunt a resolution that seems fair to all parties isn’t going to happen. Due to the people of this village native or immigrant the position of Kage brings too much strife and suffering to the village, since people can’t play nice and be civil and we’ve done fine without someone in the position of Kage in the past. I’m putting it to a vote between the Sennin of Stone present, the immediate abolishment of the position of Kage.” he stated looking at Haruka.

”Redistribution of power to the three branches as well as the Daimyo gaining back some of the power she relinquished to the Kage. A fifth seat will be established that will be open to people born in Earth Country as well as those not born of this country, as long as they are an official citizen of the country. The requirements for the position will need to be discussed but it will more than likely be open to all people that meet the requirement. Pushing agenda that prioritizes foreign aid over the best interests of the People of Earth country should be added in as a clause to some extent to have the council of five think first about what they need to be doing for this country and their people. This fifth seat would not report to anyone in the branches but they are accountable for their actions or lack there of. This will give even Haruka a chance to be part of the governing party but she’ll be starting at the same starting position as everyone else applying, no fast track. The power won’t be all encompassing either, you can sit there and say I’m robbing you of your rightful position as Kage all you want. But considering the way you came in and the antiques that followed to me it seemed like you didn’t think you really deserved it in the first place since everything you’ve done to this point in my eyes is a textbook answer of what not to do. You’re still asking us to endorse you and think rationally when all you bring to this meeting that was private was a circus. As the former leader of this country some think I’m disrespecting you… I think your own action sully your former reputation more so than anything I can do from interpreting them. You don’t have to apply for the position if you think it’s beneath, granted that would mean doing this for the people really was just a slogan of sorts. All in favor of the abolishment of the position of Kage and a redistribution of power into an Oligarchy Sennin affirm so now.” Kamaru stated raising his hand.

Gasu looked to the Sennin, backing away from his Ryujin family. He looked at everything, he was thinking of it all, and what did he discover? Your side is never right child... your a fool in this world ...I have faith in someone for once in my life... What has that given to you?! Your letting someone else take your future out of your hands! TAKE IT! ...What do you believe in then? Everything went quiet in his war zone of a head, then it silently seemed to glisten, as it said its one phrase. I believe in myself, even if I will die... At least I tried at something... Gasu suddenly blinked, as he lifted up his hand, his eyes seemed to burn with hatred. What has anyone here given him? What has anyone here promised him? Nothing but a chat, and what did Gasu want? Power... that's all anyone wanted wasn't it?

Gasu looked at Kamaru, and spoke, "...Your point is valid... I agree with you, but I wish to make a request... don't make it based on time and rank... Let it so anyone has a chance, depending on their skill... Let me and Haruka be on fair playing fields if we every tried for it..." This meeting was a mess, but his note should have arrived by now, but she should be busy with nothing. Gasu looked at Haruka, and with this new information finally processing in his head, he had a few words to describe her. She had her chance. Gasu said, "...If this decision will stop the fighting and give people a chance for peace... its all i want..." He wasn't lieing the slightest bit there, he wanted only a chance. No one ever gave him that... the few people who said they did tortured and dismembered him.

“ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID KAMARU!” Hissori bellowed in what could be nothing more than a feral snarl. His green eyes had dilated into predatory slits as his more feral side came through. He had seen this before and knew that it led to the village getting frozen over. He wasn’t going to see this again, and never would let that happen again. Growling a bit he slammed his clawed hands into the oak desk so hard the adult sent a crack all the way across the table towards Megami. His breathing was nearly at a pant already as his muscles rippled underneath his shirt.

He could barely even think about the rest of what he was saying, but what it seemed like was more power this ‘council’ wanted. They wanted to control everything and let the village die and become deserted under their rule. As long as they had power, they would not do anything to really benefit the village. It was classic corruption and Hissori was going to have nothing to do with it. He drew a long breath as he tried to gather himself.

“You’re idea is literally the stupidish shit I have ever heard. You have not thought one thing through this whole time we were at this meeting. Shit, even this young boy Gasu seems more suited when it comes to the mental aspects to hold your position. You are nothing more than a rude arrogant little insect, and now I am starting to understand why your previous village fell into war. IT was because decisions that like.” He said in a low tone. If anything the man was doing his best to control himself as he stood there leaning over the table looking at him.

“By the definition of the position of Kage is a military leader. It is the leader that commands the villages and countries shinobi force. He or She is the person that is supposed to be the figure head of the village. If anything that is what we need right now. We go to apologize looking for the village of the shinobi Endo kill and tell them we no longer have a kage? And we are ran by a bunch of people who had nothing to do with it? Please tell me exactly why would wouldn’t be laughed at and then immediately have war declared on us?” Hissori said slighted and tinted thinking the worse of people at this point.

“My vote is a stern no, and furthermore I will not let this happen, and I promise you that.” He said growling a bit. It was almost daring someone to challenge him on this, but this rule was not passing. Especially not these people.

"With all due respect Sennin-san. I'm fine standing right here. I appreciate the thought though." He spoke back to Kamaru's comment. He didn't say it in a cruel way but one that did suggest for the man to keep his comments to himself. Kane promised Koa he would do whatever he could to ensure it all went the way as planned. He wouldn't break the promise to the woman. Especially not because someone who thought himself to be in a social standard above Kane was going to order him around. Other than that though, he allowed everyone to talk and he stood there taking it all in. He didn't have much to say. Whether they had a kage or not... well his voice didn't really matter as was already told. He would listen. Akechi, Kuda and Hira were all here now and more people were piling in. This was getting more interesting by the moment.

Gasu sighed, enough was enough. He needed one last thing, so he snarled out that last thing, "I will agree to leaving this meeting if i can get a signed passport for travel purposes... I need out of this country legally, and I would rather work in the medical field there instead of being here where the sennin can't even decide who to listen to! I request this passport because as you can see, there is more Foreigners in this room then natives to the damn COUNTRY! I will be killed because someone won't agree with me, and all of you look like your ready to tear each others throats out. Hell, the Missing-nin group that went by this country was more organised then all of you right now!" Gasu's curse mark turned on from his rage, all over the burn marks of his arm and torso. Gasu was unaware to the change, but he didn't care, his mind was going to keep on swaying at this rate and if he didn't leave it would crack.

"Your blatant disrespect is something that truly shines though, Kamaru." The young woman would state very abruptly as she watched the man through sapphire eyes. "I may have to sit down and agree with Hissori here. You show little intelligence. I see that your loyalties lie with Endo, which is incredibly unfortunate..." She would state, crossing one leg over the other as she held her arms to her frame, her fingertips tracing over her scars on her arms. Her lips would now twist into a sadistic smile, one that promised immediate negative reprocussion for any more insult towards her stance. To think that she would fold at the words of a man who was clearly a follower of the deceased Kage... How foolish and droll. There was really no point on continuing this arguing with how this man acted. How pointless, no? "However, you are right, I guess I just followed along with whatever notion of respect that I may have to come convene with you. I never asked your permission." Placing her hands down on the table now, she would tilt her head off to the site. "I stated it. You think that I will sit back and allow the blind to lead the blind again? Absolutely not. I abstained from any negative comments because I thought that you two, as the ones who would be considered the wisest of the village would actually pull your heads from your behinds to actually sit down and listen. I've been wrong about things before, and it seems that this is one instance where I am wrong." Clearing her throat now, she would watch whatever people were within the room with very serious eyes.

"You've lost your right to making any vote with your blatant disrespect, Kamaru. I hope that you realize this right here and now. I am no longer being polite. I will be taking up the position of power only because of one factor: The only one of you I can trust is Ii Hissori. How the tables have turned, no?" Pulling her fingers down along the table, they would make an eerie screeching noise. Her head would lift up high, and she would narrow her eyes. "At this point, right here and right now, we will not take up such a system until I feel that this village is ready for that system. You are the only one pushing negative agendas with your insults and blatant disrespect. If I were a woman of vindictive nature, I would see to it that my associates would have you immediately tossed out of this village. However, I am not. Consider yourself incredibly lucky. The system will go into place once I see fit, with members that will be correct for the positioning. You will let me mend our relations with nations. And you will sit down, shut up, and be an advisor during such, or you will no longer hold the position that was granted to you." The room seemed to grow colder in response to the young woman's words. "You are here on Inu Endo's good graces, if he had any to begin with. We have no reason to keep you here, so do not push my hand to make sure that you will not stay here. You spoke of outsiders previously, but you seem to lose yourself in such ideals."

She would then look towards Shouta: "And you, don't lose yourself to your mental handicaps. I am Stone born, Stone blooded, and anyone who says any different has absolutely no idea about what they're talking about. I could present all of the proof that I need to to prove as such, as well." Now a slight shake of her head. Where did these idiots crawl out of their hole from? It made no sense to her.

Turning to look to Gasu, she would shake her head. "This is a meeting of Leaders, not an open season to signatures for travel. You may find your way out if that is your only goal here within this meeting. I'll sign a passport for you once this meeting has convened." Her statement was blunt. She was growing a bit tired of all of this, but she was able to preservere through out some of the strongest of idiocy. However, Kamaru truly wanted to push her hand to shoving him right out of this village. "You have my word on that." She would turn to look at Gasu now, eyes examining the cursed seal that would cross over his features. "It'd be well for you to contain your cursed sealing in the presence of these men and women, lest you wish to bring us harm."

"Do we have any more terrible decisions to bring to the floor? I'm dying to know." She'd lift a hand up and pinch at the bridge of her nose. "I'm trying to keep us out of a war here, and you all keep on acting like it's what you want. That's the loyalty to Inu Endo that I see within you. Let me fix this village's ailments, and then we can sit down to make a legitimate system that will work. Not one that was suddenly brought up on the fly."

[ Posting up mainly because I'm tired of sitting here twiddling my thumbs, y'all~. Let's leave the OOC stuff out and maintain a productive roleplaying experience. Please and thank you! ]

Gasu's curse mark shut off, as he smiled. He bowed, and said, "I am sorry that my words are upon mostly deaf ears... but at least now i have a chance to live if that ANBU sennin becomes a leader..." he blinked, as he opened the window, and leaped straight out of it, using his gravity chakra to glide to a safe distance. He smiled, as now he was going to get his promise... and now he is going to get his freedom. Gasu looked back to the sennin meeting, thinking of what he lost from his leave... and he didn't regret anything... what?! The ground infront of him brought him into the room once more, and he looked to Zenichi.

"...That is under dispute, but the majority currently wants Haruka, but 2/3rds of the Sennin are ignorant of facts and ignoring the people who they think "don't matter". The blond haired girl over there is Haruka, she is the closest to Kage material we have."

It would seem that Zenichi had came at an inopportune time, at least at first glance. The village was in turmoil trying to decide upon a leader. To decide if a leader that has proven herself outranks a champion that is tested against a nation is a tricky contrast. Personally, Zenichi didn't care of the outcome and only wanted to see someone buy the information he had. Better yet, he saw a opportunity to go sell his services as a messenger for Stone. Money was Monet and he didn't care about much else. Except for Konoha and the raw nerve that was pressed at it's very mention.

One of the Sennin (Hissori) brutally accosted Kamuru verbally about his ideas. That much didn't bother Zenichi because sometimes discussions are best resolved when people put their feelings on the table. Overlord Kazuk said that Kamaru could be trusted. While he had only talked briefly with the Sennin, he knew they were of the same village, both sharing the same hole in their hearts for soil forever lost. When the doggish man stated that he was ' starting to understand why your previous village fell into war', Zenichi's rage started to grow inside of him. People that lived in the rule of Kami and all the corruption associated could talk about it. For someone simply trying to form and argument by throwing low blows against an entire nation was vulgar to say the least. Zenichi crossed the room and made his position near Kamaru. This wasn't his fight but they would make it his if they continued to compare the insanity this village is going through with the travesty that Konoha had to endure for decades.

Tensions grew and Kamaru was quickly becoming the most hated person in the room. Zenichi wasn't there to defend him so he simply listened. It was surprising that Gasu wore such a bleeding heart on his sleeve. Zenichi has heard of Attention Deficit Disorder before but had never witnessed it. That mixed with the emotional stability of a newborn and Gasu looked like a child that no one could teach the most basic things. Zenichi wondered if his abilities out shined his shortcomings. As Gasu jumped out the window, Zenichi activated his sharigan too and made a few hand seals.

A fist made of Earth exploded from the ground outside the building. It shot up directly below Gasu. Right before contact, the first opened up to where the palm faced up but the fingers remained curved. Gasu should land safely in the hand and glide back up to the window. Zenichi approaches the window and continues his discussion with Gasu.

Did you no hear what you were just told? If you want something, you fight for it. You sold your ideals and beliefs for a simple passport? I would fight my way out of this village if I truly believe it was my calling. You have been the loudest person here talking about what you believe it. She promises you a piece of paper and you cast the aside? Please show me there is more to you than just words.

Gasu snickered, and looked to Zenichi, as his sharingan began spinning, seeming to drain the light out of the near by area. He then gave a smile and said, "Do you not understand my fellow brother? My opinion here is going to get me killed... I have no way to defend myself, even if you people fight each other which everyone is suggesting by their body actions, I am a simple C rank. My future I must preserve, so I came here to protect it, but I can no longer save it for the words that come from my mind and my maw have nothing to do here. You see, stone has tried murdering me three times already... Two of which come from the Sennin's members. What does that say to you? Out of everyone in this room, I am one of the two youngest here, and the other youngest person I fear more then any of you. You know why? Because I fear strength that comes from truth and heart, for that is the most pure. Purity is the way I want to go, and all it makes me feel is regret to what levels I must go to achieve light and life. What have all of you gained your strength from? Your title and abusing this damned system. My mind has been fractured and harmed, I know that... so I am sorry for my actions, but at the same time I am not. Mixed with my love turned to hatred from my clan blood, how can you blame me for trying to protect my village with a burning passion? Besides, listen to everyone here... even with power they have done nothing. This meeting has been going on for only half an hour, and what have we acquired?!" Gasu's eyes suddenly spun so fast, it looked like his black marks were making ripple like rings.

He then stomped and said, "You stop me from leaving, and what is your purpose? My words and my actions have no effect here for all of you have done much more then me!" He approached to Zenichi, standing to him and then snarled out the rest of his words, making eye contact with the other Uchiha. He spoke, "You may think I can fight, but my fight is in my own head. All that has happened today is that I painted a target over myself, and said my opinion and whatever facts I could scrape up to prove my points. What has that proven? All of my effects are for nothing, and so I decided if you people want me gone... I will just leave this damned village. Its clear everyone here who wants change is either for Haruka or hell. I choose a 3rd option, freedom from this tyranny. I want freedom, I want my LIFE Back! Inu endo was about to put my life on the line for his petty war games, and now that it is freed we have been given a chance to live! I am taking my chance and I have realized now that I am about to enslave myself again to you people, so If I don't leave now... I will be their slaves. I am pathetic in some ways, I am crazy in others, but in the end what am I? I am all of you, I am another human being. And all I bloody want is my life back... alright? That is why i put everything aside for a simple piece of paper... My life and my freedom is worth more then this village's fools. So my choice is to either leave and let the fools debate against Haruka and all of us, or I can stay and help you and the others where my words have as much weight as the paper on one of your desks... It just flies on the wind."

Gus was clearly unstable in some ways, but who could blame him? If you even looked at him you would see all the evidence and pieces to prove he had the right. But then he finished his rant to Zenichi and any who listened to him, "My point is invalid from your strength and everyone else s' in this room. I am covered in my sins and my mistakes, while none of you are. I am the only one out of all of us here that has never fought another person in battle other then once... maybe Reishii but not my point. All of you here have the experience to rule in your ways, and the experience to fight, but all I have is my books and my own experience, both of which lack any depth or light to any of you. Now answer me, what have ANY of you done here for the Village? Other then your job, what have you honestly done for the Village? I went through hell itself to defend my friends, and now you see my flesh and skin. I burned my own flesh and my own sin to return to my life... and then I discover it was taken away from those above. So what am I now? A soulless corpse that is waiting tell his body reforms, trying to get his soul back. What have any of you done but take and steal from others?! Truly, answer me that! I am guilty as any of you, but at least my mistakes were not going to destroy a village! I want my village alive and well, but now look at my actions. Do you see how my actions are as strong as my words are now Uchiha? I am going up to all of you people, speaking of your flaws and my own flaws, giving my suggestions and my opinions to help sway, but all it does is nothing to rock the boat of this argument. All that has happened now, is simply a monument to all of our sins. We are in this because none of us step forward to take the burden, but when a few of us step forward to take the mantle of responcability, those who dissaprove, the minority, dismiss the majority and skewer them like pigs and cattle. We have nothing compared to them, even as a group... so what do I honestly have to fight for?! They own my village, they own my life, and they own my freedom! I have nothing but a shallow CORPSE that is known as Ryujin Gasu!" He stepped back, and walked to the window, looking at the stone, and said, "Look at this fist you made... what does it show? Your power, and your skill... what does my power and skill show? Ashes to the world... to the wind that might make something grow. But now all I hold, is the ashes of others, who have given me something to grasp for once. I try to protect, but all it does is fade into the ashes, blackened by the light not shining through."
