Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Today, they would have something more sensual. Less sexual. Though more, together than they had been previously. How can this be you ask? I dont know I'm just writing this. From the side of the boat and from the dock itself Rozan would be drawn off his normal train of thought, maybe because of how tired and sheepish Cereza was from their voyage. Most likely anyways, though that was where was at his best. Whenever she was down he would be the strength for them both. As she was for him in his down times. Whenever he didnt feel like he was man enough to do. . . Yadda yadda. She was there. She had never broken that promise. Plus, how he was feeling now? She would never break it. A woman of the utmost honor and integrity, he knew he had found a keeper from the first face-plant she gave upon them meeting. Cute. Sincere. Cereza.

So, he would leave her horse and take his small red cat-bear thing with Cereza sitting infront of him so he could wrap his body around her, sharing warmth. And Like I said before, more sensual because this was a life or death situation as well as a way he could once again show her that he was the man for her. Not that he had anymore to prove, but the gesture would likely be met with notice of sincere intent. Away from the docks they would leave their boat behind, being watched over again by some of his clones, venturing upwards into the land of the unknown. Uncharted indeed.

They traveled for nearly twelve hours up the side of the mountain. . . and things didnt get nicer. Though, treading through the snow, harsh conditions continued over time but it was one of their. . . better days with weather. Though Rozan continued, and taking off his cloak and jacket he would bundle Cereza up in a ball of fluffed up clothing as he pulled the horse forward though the rough conditions. Maybe this would be an end to his sorrows but then again it could be a beginning, things could change and he could get Cereza a nice bed to sleep in and a cup to drink warm tea.

Approaching their final destination. . . they would be greeted by a vast gate. . . Odd. He had never seen one of these before, One thing about being a hidden village, you didnt want to draw attention. The clouds stopped the wonder. . . but this gate seemed to wield paradise behind it. The vibrant hustle and bustle they would hear, the tunes. The life. it all changed and was a complete 180 from being in Suna. . . but maybe they didnt stay long enough to give it a chance but Rozan didnt take chances with Cereza and his child(ren). So, risks were not to be taken widely. . .

"Oi oi! Could anyone let a husband and wife into this village?!", screaming into the wind hoping that someone could come and give them a nights rest. . . more so for his wife than he.

Snow was not the first thing that Cereza had expected. Not by a long shot. Sure, most people may have known about these climate conditions, but she had no idea what to expect in this country. So, in those regrads, the first priority in a condition that is considered to be cold is preserving body heat. Luckily for Cereza, she pretty much had heat built into her skin. Halfway up the mountain treck, Rozan had insisted that she wear his cloak and bundle up in order to keep warm, but she just rolled her eyes There was no way to prevent him from doing as he wanted so long as it was to protect his family. Overall she would believe him to be ridiculous, but he was just trying to be a good husband and father by protecting her and, though her, the baby(ies). The conditions had them walking and practically dragging the horse. At this rate, Cereza believed it would have been better to just have left it there. Rozan must be freezing by now with such little actual things to protect him from the weather. Cereza would do her best to keep him warm with her own body heat as well as she flushed herself against his side while walking. She needed to teach him how to turn his chakra into body heat soon if they were staying here for a lengthy amount of time. But for now, this would have to suffice.

"How much further is this place? I don't want you getting sick." Cereza had a worried expression, but pressed forward. The ship was left down at the docks again under good protection again. Cereza caught a glimpse at Rozan's new pet thing. Looked like some weird animal combination. Perhaps it could act as a scarf for now. Either way it was funny looking so that made it alright to keep. And Rozan seemed to like it so Cereza would make no comment against it, not like she had anything negative to say anyway.

Finally, finally, the gates of this village came into sight and Cereza let out a thankful sigh. She just wanted to sleep and make sure that Rozan could get properly warmed up. Cereza tightened the cloak around herself as the wind whipped through her hair like an angered spirit seeking vengence on a weaker soul. Cereza once again thought of Rozan's arm. When exposed to cold climate, wood will contract and shrink. His arm was something meant to be flexible. If it were to become less limber in it's movements due to the climate, it could potentially crack under strain. Cereza didn't want Rozan to be without his arm again, so time was of the essence for both of them. Her husband's call to anyone at the gate was loud, but would it be swept away in this wind? She didn't know. However, as Rozan said that, she would slowly extend to him her passport, no words spoken between them so as not to strain anyone's voice.

Braving the storms raging outside, Natsu muttered under his breath. Acting Sennin was all fine and dandy, until someone had to go pick up the reports half-way across town. The Genin he had hired for that specific purpose had called in sick. Pfah, highly unlikely. The blonde Chunin figured the kid had just been scared witless by the Hoshikage. The fool had been gossiping about what had transpired between Natsu and her at the Gates. She had heard it. He had never shown up since. That was about three days ago now, and each day the boy had an excuse at the ready. It was almost impressive. However, that meant he now had to go fetch the damn reports himself from the telegraph office, which were conveniently placed about as far from the Torre as was logical in a Shinobi world.

Of course, usually one would get there in reasonable time, skipping over the rooftops. With weather like this however.. Regardless, this writer was going off topic, and Natsu was freezing his ears off rushing through the gales and empty streets. As the Gates came closer, the wind quieted down a bit. The high walls provided a natural shield from the harsh elements until they crashed back down in the center of the city. Diving into the telegraph office, he shooed away the hapless Genin there. Did they have one at every workplace or something? Regardless, as he snatched the papers and peered out of the window to look at the current situation, he noticed an odd figure. Was it a duck? Was it a plane? Was that a very illogical assumption?

No! (Well yes too, but..) It appeared to be travelers. And in a very bad state if he could tell by their body language and the weather. Rushing out via a hidden door, he came up to them. It was likely some of the ANBU had spotted them but preferred staying in their cozy, warm hiding spots. And the Deathwatch was attending another etiquette class. That sounded about as bad as his paperwork in fact. Regardless, he lifted his hand towards to duo, ushering them closer to Gates where they could take at least some shelter. "Good day, terrible weather. I'll need to see your papers and reasons for visit, then we can all go to warm and rest up." He said, thoughts slowly drifting off to a hot cup of coco with a donut as complimentary snack.

Alas. Quick. Efficient service. Rozan would shake and rattle in the chilling cold from under his armor but he kept complete composure until he knew they would be secured in the village, so, without hesitation he would smile to Cereza and then back to the blonde male, bowing his head lowly and handing him their passports and other such things before speaking, "I'm Setsumon Rozan. This is my wife Cereza. We were out on vacation. . . nothing too major. Nothing diplomatic." shaking a bit and hoping for retribution of sorts. Though, there would likely be something that came up in the mind of Cereza, but they needed to rest. She was tired. He was freezing. . . and his wooden arm would begin to break under the chilling storm.

"Does everything check out?", his amber golden eyes gazing into the males for a moment, faint and tired from their travels. . . but strong and willing to fight at any moments notice if the man attacked him or his pregnant wife. Anything, that would harm her. . . he would quietly set aside and destroy all those who implemented the notion. He had more than one life to worry about. His wife and child. He would not quit. . . until his dead child would be avenged. If. . . it happened. . . but it wouldnt happen. Not on his watch.

If the man let them in he would guide his wife and the horse in following behind the blondie. . .

Cereza looked at her husband and gave a worried expression for his state. Thankfully someone came to attend to them. A blonde haired man of the village came running out of the gates and drew them forward under some semblence of shelter. Cereza nodded her head in due thanks. They she cared so much for her husband, so even if she were to freeze to death in the icy clutches of frost and ice and snow, so long as he was safe she could be happy. Nothing in the world meant more to her than him except for her children, who meant equally as much, so for that fact she would do the best she could in terms of protecting them. Rozan held her heart in his hands, everyday, forever. Nothing in this world would ever change that. Even after their spirits returned to the spiritual world, they would forever be connected with each other. She wouldn't ever want to do anything that would cause him to be in pain. And she realized that sometimes she would screw up majorly, and maybe not even realize how bad she did, but she would always love him and cherish him. They could get through things together, be it this horrid storm, or stuggles in life. They were meant for each other and deep down, that's what mattered to her the most. Her love for her husband.

Cereza removed the cloak and placed it around Rozan's shoulders. She was warm from the beginning, but now at least the cloak would be infused with her toasty heat. Rozan would go to hand the passports off to the very friendly blonde man. Cereza didn't know him for very long but he was much more delightful than most of those Sunans. If all went smoothly perhaps her and Rozan could speak with him again in a more casual, warmer environment. For now though, they just wanted to go inside.

Nodding as the shivering man handed him the papers, Natsu read over its contents. Going by the information and the accent, the two weren't from the Lightning Country. Curious, as they had a Bear and even Sound country guest since recently. Was Kumogakure becoming such a touristic hotspot? With this weather it seemed highly unlikely. Though perhaps some extreme sport skiers had promoted them? Or was it the lasagna, which if he heard it right from some of the visitors was the best all around? Maybe they were spies? After all, a caring couple was the perfect cover-up! But why send such obvious ones then? No, that made little sense.

"Everything checks out. I, Do Natsu, as well as Kumogakure welcome you." He actually had to be of Jonin rank to do this, but acting Sennin would prove sufficient surely? Guiding them past the small entrance as opening the heavy doors seemed to much of a hassle, the warmth and full shelter immediately welcomed them. Rummaging about, he found a touristic flyer the new Deathwatch Captain had recently made. There was one for Gate Guards detailing etiquette and the likes, while the one for visitors explained the relevant laws as well as showcasing some local events and inns. "Should there be any questions, feel free to ask now or at the Torre Celeste. Oh, and if I may suggest Yukato's Inn? They have the most delicious donuts, 't is true!" With that, he handed them the clearance papers and, in case of no further questions, trekked through the storm once more to his office.
