Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Akira had found food recently that had at least saved him from some of his problems, but the travel into the desert had been long, tiring, and overall had drained him completely, he needed sanctuary, a place to recover and re-energize he needed conversation as well, he missed people as much as he hated to admit it and right now he found himself alone, not much money and even in a situation that he was a fugitive, not what he imagined from his life, and not what he pictures for himself, so the real question was would this place even offer him sanctuary.

Looking towards those who entered and came into the city he got into the line with the others, it seemed that he had no passport on him and this may be a more difficult conversation than what he had planned, but he hoped with his ragged and broke look that he was currently rocking this would at least allow him to get away with some of the more difficult questions. As he waited patiently it was now only a matter of time to see what would be said by the guards that allowed entry into the village, coming to think of it he began to wonder how different this place would be, what the people would be like, what the hustle and bustle would sound like. He was brought back to reality quickly with a question.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Akira, I am requesting entry and sanctuary in this village, I have traveled long and sought shelter."

The Captain of the guard, Uzi, raised a closed fist, notifying the masked guard that he'd handle this one. He approached the younger guy without too much worry. "It looks like the desert did you injustsnce." Uzi looked the guy over, he was obviously tired form his trek. "Do you have your passport with you?" He asked in a casual manner. His mask concealed his face, his ANBU vest over his torso, and a pair of black pants at his bottoms. Your average pair of shinobi sandals were at his feet. He was curious to hear this guy's story. Of course he had to do his check in first, but afterwards, he'd see about getting this guy some help.

Akira found himself face to face with a man in a mask, it was almost like he could never get away from them regardless of where he went. As he looked at the man a broken and beaten smile came across his lips in those few movements as he knew full well that it was the truth, he had not prepared himself for the harsh struggles of the desert and found that it had been rough. As he stood there from his travels looking around he knew full well that he had no answer to the second question, but at least he would be directly with that approach.

"No passport sorry, with how my travels have been so far, I have nothing but the clothes on my back, it's weird how the world works sorry. The name is Akira though"

As he waited for a response, he would see how things would go after a passport was normally the customer around here, and without one he could be turned away, but if you never tried to get in then that just meant that he would not know for sure if they would allow him in or not. Pondering between the two of them he then decided to give a bit more information rather than just a no.

"Honestly I was just after some food, shelter, maybe even some work if anything was going to get by for now at least hitting the ground with my feet firmly on the floor. Not sure if you have any suggestions for that?"

The young one have a name. One that he was not familiar with, but it seemed the truth nevertheless. Uzi looked away for a moment, wondering if he was provided with false information. 'He seems genuine. He did say that he didn't have a passport.' But Uzi also knew that no passport meant one or two things. He either wasn't from a shinobi village, or he was and didn't have their permission to leave. He looked back to the kid. 'The youth these days.' He was concerned more than anything, but he didn't allow his feelings to show. "No passport hmm?" His next statement of food and shelter remained with Uzi. He could always turn this guy away.

"Tell me truthfully, and I'm hoping you give the truth, are you from a shinobi village?" Uzi looked upwards, he could have used his sharingan to hypnotize the kid for the information that he needed. It was a dojutsu famous in Konoha, and used by the Uchiha. But he released the thought and looked back to Akira. He would go by Akira's words in this situation.

Tattered by the desert, Uzi could only wonder if the kid had what it took to take a journey back through the sands. It would be tough, but if Akira was tough, it'd be possible. Uzi knew that this one was brave, but maybe his truthfulness would provide a better ending?

Akira pondered on the best response, he didn't doubt his abilities, nor did he doubt that ability he could hold his own if it came to it, instead he decided that in that split second what person he was going to be, honest person or a liar. Did he just want to hold his convictions? Live with them out in the open for everyone to see or hide them like his abilities to make sure the world doesn't see him for them. He let the options weigh up in him before speaking to the man in front of him.

"I am a missing shinobi, one that is skilled in unconventional means and abilities, I have not killed anyone I was a skilled Medical chief, until my path was stopped, trodden down, and looked at for what I was doing with distance and hate. So I ran, I wanted to protect people not be a witch hunt for bad luck. So here I am, pretty much broken in the sense of money and my body from the travel into a land I do not know, I came here because I frankly had nowhere else to go. So here I am, my name is Yamamoto Akira, Missing Ninja, and in the Konoha Bingbook."

He decided to take the route that may be harder to step, but at least always being truthful in his words and actions would make sure that he managed to hold his head high and never play his cards in the dark and the shadows. He had to do that to survive in Konoha, no longer would he do that.

A small smile would be hidden under Uzi's ANBU mask. 'This kid is alright.' He slightly nodded after Akira stopped speaking, a sign of respect in Uzi's book. "Ok kid, I'm going to give you two options. Neither includes me of harming you in anyway." He paused for a moment, thinking to himself of what was going on.

"One, I turn you away and turn a blind eye to what just happened here, but Konoha comes knocking at our doors, which they have, and ask if we've seen you, I'll have to tell them that I did. But, I dont' know where that guy went, or what he's out there doing." Option one was pretty straight forward, and since this kid was honest, he'd be honest as well. "If you're a missing, I'm hoping that you'll go back and turn yourself in. And judging from the Konoha Nin that came into the village not so long ago-" He pointed towards the gates with his right thumb, "Those guys mean business. They are here looking for clues on another project, something similar to yours in a sense." Uzi knew it would be tough out there from being a mercenary himself. He'd found a home with this place, so he'd show heart to others coming along these gates. That, and this kid was alone, which is another reason why he considered option 2.

"Or, you can take option 2." Uzi held up two fingers. "I'll take you in personally, and we'll have a chat for as long as you'd like. Days, weeks... years? You'll be in a holding cell." Uzi gave an outward palm, as though he already knew what the kid was thinking. "And I know that sounds horrible, but I'll be able to give you meals, and periods of freedom with me as your escort of course." He wouldn't be able to let the guy roam the village alone, as he would now be Uzi's responsibility. And he knew no one would like to be cooped up in a holding cell forever, so he'd occasionally let the guy out and the two could venture the village. "But, there are a few things I'd require from you."

Uzi now folded his arms in front of himself. "One and most importantly, I want you to turn yourself in to your village. You'll have an escort back to Konoha, and either I, or someone else will vouch for you when you make it back. Hopefully we can make you a Konoha Nin again, and get you a proper passport to venture out and about. Being a missing shinobi out here would be tough, especially if you're alone kid. Roaming around out here, you'll either become bored after a few years, make some friends or enemies, and get caught up in a lifestyle. Or you could just be killed, who knows?" Uzi shrugged, being quite blunt with the boy. "While in custody, I won't rush you on your decision on going back home, but it is a must. Hence why I said you'll be in that holding cell for as long as you make it. I'm sure I can restore you to a good name." Uzi continued on "You will be fed, the cell will be your shelter, but you will get a toilet, a pillow, and a blanket. And while you're there, I'll be your friendly neighbor, so I'm hoping you don't stay for months... or years for that matter." Being in the Obsidian Palace would be new to Uzi. He'd give up his life above ground for a while to talk to this kid, find out why he went missing in the first place. He wanted to talk things out with Konoha to see that this young man would become a better person to their society.

"The choice is yours." Uzi would look Akira in the eyes, wondering his fate.

Akira almost laughed at the offer but found himself stifling down the response as he sighed to himself, it seemed that the offers were both a cell and a cage, he didn't expect anything else but may have to rethink which direction he traveled in, he would need to of course figure out a path out of here, and he wished that things had been different, but it seemed that honestly got him turned away once more, as he allowed himself to nod he extended his hand to shake the men, once the shake was done he spun on his heels and walked away, it seemed that he was done here and that he would return on the route that had brought him here.

"I know which option I will choose, shame really but I will go back to my travels, no point causing more issues than needed and might as well end things on a hospitable situations rather than an aggressive one. Thanks for the time, maybe we will see each other another time, but who knows"

With that Akira left the same way he had entered, his time already consumed with travel he would make sure to head to another option as soon as possible, there was no point trying to push his luck staying here any longer, it seemed the situation had been made clean cut and he didn't want to push his luck. As he allowed himself to walk silently into the distance the outline faded to nothing.

Uzi only watched as the kid departed. "That is one brave kid." Uzi thought to himself as he watched Akira leave. 'Yamamoto Akira, Missing Ninja, and in the Konoha Bingbook' He thought to himself. If the boy ever came back, the offer would still stand. He wouldn't let the kid waste his life out there. The white haired man closed the case that was before him. The flesh of the matter was over, and he'd continue on with his work period. He would achieve a different mindset as he pondered on the scenario.
