Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been awhile since Kouin had felt the need to wield a physical blade; the sound of metal slicing against metal sent a shiver down his spine. His duel with the apparition of Hoshikata awakened something inside him, something that had been lying dormant longer than he could've ever realized. He wasn't the only one who had a voice that needed to be heard or wishes to speak out loud. He could recall stories his father once told him; stories of people who created deep connections with their weapons, two separate entities that could join to create one cohesive gestalt.

When he had his encounter with Hoshikata's illusion, and he struck from the air, he could've sworn he could hear the sword call to him; telling him what was the best course. The blade told him to weave the jutsu through his blade as he struck for the sky. Jutsu Weaving had been a lost art many had forgotten, and though he had once been able to perform the task it had been such a long time. His "main" path wasn't properly suited for this kind of combat; he had acquired a particular body, one that radiated holy light and had the muscle memory of a skills swordsman; he would be perfect for forging a spiritualistic pact.

Combine the ninjutsu with my Taijutsu.... The concept seemed foreign and native at the same time. He could only shake his head, he wasn't sure if he had the capability to still weave jutsu arts together like he could in the past, but he would never know unless he tried. His eyes would close shut as he extended his arms outward; runic glyphs erupted across the ground emitting a low hum. Spatial rifts tore through the ground, giving way for his two paths to appear. He looked at them; a male and a female, two sides of the same coin.

He began manipulating the chakra in the air to produce two chakra rods; one was sleek and narrow, perfect for riposting and disabling. The other too was sleek but had a fine cutting edge perfect for slicing flesh clean off, he would stake them into the ground for the moment, when his eyes drifted back to his paths, they would make a fine catalyst for this. He would turn them around so their backs were facing him; he would rip a hole into the clothes so reveal their fleshy backs, he rested his palms on both of their backs; their heartbeats resonated through his hands as he began pouring chakra into the bodies.

~Through the turmoil of time and space, and depths of the void, a connection is formed. A pact from one entity to another; the one who as the speed and agility matched by none, and severity challenged by few...~. As his chant on the first path finished a runic glyph was left behind, embedding a name onto the body, "Kuikku". His hand gripped the piercing rod and placed it on his back, May the winds cry your name, Kuikku. And with a swift motion, the rod was shoved into the body, completely disappearing. A burst of light shattered the sky, the path was nowhere to be seen anymore, only glistening light floating around the sky, but Kouin knew better. His hand rose to the air and whispered its name, Kuikku. A boom erupted around his hand as a dueling saber manifested around his hand, fitting the hilt perfectly. Phew... It worked.

His attention moved to his other path, a delicate woman, but exudes strength nonetheless. He followed the same starting procedure by placing his palm on her fleshy back, Tides of time ripped away what you had; given the opportunity for new life, your body rose. You sever your adversaries down one by one. Just as before a glyph was sealed onto her back leaving the name "Shīa". He gripped the slicing rob tightly and held it to her back, May they never hear you slice through them, Shīa. He would then impale her with the chakra rod, unlike before a burst of darkness erupted rather than light. He couldn't help but smile as it appeared to have been a success. He would whisper both their names solemnly, Slice the wind, Kuikku. Sever the Void, Shīa A torrent of light and dark swirled around Kouin viciously as both 'weapons' were beginning to manifest; Kuikku was a sleek, white dueling rapier, while his sister, Shīa was a sleek, black dueling saber. Both were connected via chakra cord made from the same material the rod was.

Now let’s try this weaving technique guys. He would grip both blades firmly as he would begin to focus his chakra through his weapons. He would slam the hilts of the swords together to interlock them. He would shift his stance into that of a lunge, and positioned himself in front of a tree. He began swirling the weapon around for it to pick up more photons in the air. Eventually, sparks began to ignite; with a snap of his fingers causes the whole blade to erupt in a golden explosion of intense electricity. His focus would narrow on the tree ahead, the only thing in his sight.

With a sudden shift in his momentum, he would lunge forward quickly as if he had the intent to kill mercilessly. Kouin would swing the blade up in one quick, fluid motion upwards; sundering the roots of the tree. He then disconnected the conjoined weapons and began unleashing a flurry of electrifying blows. Only a few seconds would have past, but as a haze of dust cleared it would be revealed that there was no longer a tree where there was one before.

With a tuckered sigh, he fell against a non-obliterated tree and stabbed both the swords into the ground. Both of his hands remained on the hilts, So guys... Is that how you wanted it done? As if on cue Shīa turned back into her previous form and offered him only a nod in agreement, Good. As if on cue again, his body told him it was time to sleep.
