Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Yamashito Kei

Age: 9

Gender: Male

General Description: Kei was a rather ordinary youth at first glance, one that seemed to naturally blend with the crowd. Which seemed to suit him just fine most of the time. He was always social with those around, and friendly enough to make friends pretty easily, but he always seemed to enjoy his space as well and was comfortable enough on his own and leaving a little mystery for what was really going on inside that head of his. A bit shorter than the rest of the boys his age by a few centimeters, he wasn't pudgy (other than slightly plump cheeks) but he wasn't skinny either. Kei was just a little pale since he seemed to spend more time indoors with a nose stuck in a book or working on a few puzzles up in his room, but was still active enough to get outside to play with the few kids living nearby. He had light blonde hair that was just starting to darken lately, fading to a soft brown as he started to get older and naturally parted to the right and was slightly spiky when it was shorter (but got way too shaggy and unruly if he ever let it grow past his ears). The soft, blue eyes hidden a bit beneath the slim framed glasses, but they had a few faint slivers mixed in the blue shade to make them stand out for anyone lucky enough to get close. He always had an absent smile on his face, generally seen about the village in some shorts that rested just a bit past his knees (only switching to pants when it got too cold in the autumn/winter months). and a dark shirt beneath the unzipped jacket or hoodie he always had on, depending on the weather.

History: Kei was blessed enough with a loving family, though it was a pretty small set around him. His mother and father were still together, but he'd grown up with his mother doing most of the caregiving, since his father was out of the house so often traveling as a merchant between the other villages. He always sent back money for them to take care of things, and tried to come back to visit for the major holidays and Kei's birthdays... but he was so distant that it hardly felt like he was part of the family most of the time. Kei never seemed to notice or worry much, though since his mother was caring and cheerful enough to pick up the slack, and they were still close enough with his grandparents that he never felt he'd missed out on anything. His childhood was pretty easy going, focusing more on his studies as he made his way through school, picking up things that were a bit advanced for his age. Which was why most of his family or the neighboring adults figured that he would be suited more for some quiet job behind a desk, settling in as a librarian or sorting through the papers and finances over at the Hokage's offices, but lately... he'd been reading more about the academy, the training and skills that young shinobi needed to help protect the village. It was hard to explain to his mother, this quiet fire he felt inside... telling him that he could do more, that he help those he cared about instead of simply sitting on the sidelines and waiting to clean up afterwards. But those that were close enough to the young boy knew that he was serious about putting in his application, to take a chance like this at the Academy that they didn't try to talk him out of it. Mainly because they knew it wouldn't have changed his mind no matter what they said. It was a chance to prove he was strong enough to handle things on his own, that he didn't need to rely on everyone else to make it... and to try and take care of his mother who struggled so much to give him the like she thought he deserved.
