Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Travelling through this massive country was a chore, it was dull and boring. Sure there were many different types of terrain here, forests, wetlands, and mainly the desert for which it was famed. But to Junan this nature was nothing that he particularly cared for. Then again there wasn't much that he did care for.

Fighting and killing were simple necessities in his line of work, both as a shinobi and for the organization. Just with different targets. The organization had him targetting members of Cloud, and now looked like they were trying to expand to other villages. Why... he didn't understand, why they sent him he had no clue either. Still they had, and so far he had done a good job, or so he thought. He'd managed to recruit someone to find work for the organization. It was his recruit so he would keep the details of the person secret. His knowledge and his alone. The village targetted those outside of the village. So Junan had the amusing job of killing and kidnapping people both outside the village for the village, and inside the village for those outside the village.

What he did was illegal everywhere, if people knew what he did they would hate him, hunt him, try and kill him, and the thought of this excited him. Yet then his mind would sink, he was not to do so. The village wanted his missions to remain between the village and the hirer, and in exactly the same way the organization wanted the work they did to remain between them and their hirers. As long as Junan worked for the organization this would remain, which meant that he would have to tread carefully.

The landscape changed under his feet as he continued to walk along from a field of green which slowly became more and more sandy, till the ground began to slip under his feet. Still he didn't care. The worst it could do was find a way inside his puppet, but that could be emptied easily enough and cleaned. No harm done.

Time passed and he spent a solid week walking in a particular direction. A sand storm came and went, the high speed winds turning the sand into something which could shred the delicate parts of his puppet... so he had walked through it with a whirlwind of his own surrounding him. It had become abundantly clear that despite his lack of care for the place that he was going to need to conserve his chakra reserves, so his main puppet body was hidden within the blonde prettyboy which was one of his other advanced puppets. It served its purpose and had enabled him a greater control over the situation.

At night time he would let himself rest, not for very long, it didn't take long for him to regain all his strength. Ten minutes at the beginning of the evening followed by ten hours of walking. Over the course of the week Junan had found several villages, noted the people living in them, of course not all of them, but the general demographic, and then left again. Anyone of any real note would be recorded, but typically he was interested in the general look of the population. It was important to understand who lived and where so that should he need to find someone of a particular description. You never knew when someone might want a tanned skinned, blonde haired child as a plaything. Though as he traveled he found that not all villages fit that description, and so noting things down was important.

And so it was that he reached this location. There was nothing special about it, but it was where he had decided to spend his ten minutes resting. The location was somewhat deserted, nothing around for miles, but there was some kind of stone under maybe a foot of sand, he could feel its sturdiness keeping the sand in check under his body as he rested. A small amount of wind could be felt, but nothing unusual. The temperature was dropping steadily though Junan simply shut off his feeling of temperature as it rose too high and dropped too low. In fact the fluctuations of temperature were the worst thing having an effect on his body. Expanding and contracting the wood. He knew that he would need to find somewhere in the Sand village to spend some time repairing his body.

Around him the dunes were not massively high, the stone base seemed to restrict it to some extent. He'd circled closer to where the location of the Sand village could be found. Probably ten hours walk or so away. He would take his time getting there. After all, he'd need to find a way to sneak in. Same reason as that with Stone when he visited that place. He couldn't let the locals know where he was from, if he did then he would be more easily tracked. Admittedly with the storm he created in that wealthy looking place there would be ways to track him anyway, but there were bound to be many Junan around the place, and he would have alibis in Lightning Country to conspire with.

So it was time to make a move. Would fate change those plans?
