It had taken little time for the Sage to find out a general idea of who the players in the region were. Of those he was able to gleam information from there was one that drew his attention in particular. Apparently there was an ambitious faction that had been gaining quite the reputation. He couldn't resist a meeting with these individuals. Between some yen, his clans sake & his general ominous presence there was little resistance when it came to his attempts to garner a deeper understand of his newfound curiosity. Clan Gekido it seemed functioned much like his own clan. Something he needed to see for his own eyes. After all in all his time there had been few families that possessed the conviction for such ambitions. With a few seals a Crystal Eye was conjured & ascended into the air above him. Using it to survey the Casino they had chosen to use. It seemed there was little security for the business & it seemed closed. Perhaps they lacked the capabilities to function all hours of the day. If so they were missing out on a significant sum of money. Patrons such as the ones his enterprises drew cared not for the time of day, only desiring to fulfill their desires.
While performing a perimeter check he noticed quite the interesting individual enter the building. He waited momentarily for any signs of chaos ensuing. But there was nothing at least he knew it would not be empty. Another set of handseals and the Sage was engulfed in Shadow Garbs. Tangible Darkness that coated the user. It allowed him to slip through the building undetected, at least to his knowledge. Using his Chakra Sense jutsu he followed the path of individual who had entered before him. Faint remnants of her chakra remained & it only further fueled his curiosity. That was when he felt them, the presence of those along the stairs & further inside the establishment. Dropping his Shadow Garb he couldn't help but catch the last bit of dialogue from the individual who preceded him. No doubt by now they all would of felt his presence.
Like the unease that runs down your spine when an unexpected chill rolls across the nape of your neck. The sense as if some was incredibly wrong. An entity of unnatural corruption, one who defied the natural order of the world. "Now what kind of a deal is that?" the words would escape his lips in response to the kunoichi who had preceded him. A rhetorical question as he climbed the stairs, the sound of his Geta now clear with each step. "They prostrate themselves before you in the hopes of mercy or die for being who they are." he would say chuckle at the thought of what he would do in such an option. "Either you're a fool or a liar. Anyone who would risk taking such individuals back. Under the same chains of authority they so blatantly ignore & expecting it to change is a fool." when he finished speaking he had reached the top of the stairs. Long white hair that ran past his waist flowed over his form. He wore a the equivalent of Anbu combat gear under his robes. All kinds of instruments were hidden on the chance that he needed it. Being an Anbu had taught him that much.
Those emerald eyes of his slid over the group before him as he spoke once again. "Or perhaps you lie & you simply want to be able to handle them discreetly. Away from prying eyes...if that were the case. It'd make you almost as much of a monster as myself." a sinister chuckle would escape his form, building into an almost maniacal laugh. "Where are my manners?" he would casually say before giving a theatrical bow to the group before him. "Miroku Akkuma, a pleasure to make your acquaintances." he gave them all a grin full of devilish mischief when he finished his introduction. "You may find yourself surprised by just how wrong you are about the villages & how they treat individuals of alternative lifestyles." Akkuma said the statement with the confidence of an individual who knew what he was talking about. He would run a hand through his hair pushing it out of his face. If they looked closely they would see the numerous scars that littered his body. One would be right in thinking one should be dead if they had faced such wounds. But death was not the end.
"There are those who are willing to die for their beliefs...those of conviction like myself. In my time I've found death is only inescapable for those unwilling to pay the cost." his words would reveal much about the individual he was. There would be little doubt that the newcomer was not someone to be underestimated. What better way to make an appearance in his eyes. Little did he know the Hokage was present, then again it would not be the first time he had gone against a Kage. In his experience villages cared not for age or experience when it came to punishing those that defied their authority. "What a shame & such terrible shortsightedness it would be to remove assets such as these from your repertoire." he would finish with this statement & his emerald eyes would rest upon the woman who had given the children their fate sealing questions. How would they respond with a mysterious individual like himself? The Sage would seem unphased by the rather unique appearance of the individual. Such matters were second hand to one such as himself. Although he was trying to behave himself more these days, his curiosity & devilish nature still got the best of him.
