Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[legend="Consider the Following"]Chi had been given a strange book by some strange fire elemental creatures. More accurately they guided her to it, but the reason why was still very unclear. She went over the book a few times, skimming parts that seemed important. The Bohemian pages certainly helped her shape up that ancient language in her head, a language she hadn't had much of a use for until recently. No matter where she looked she didn't see anything except history and lore. There was nothing that seemed particularly important, as she had expected. She wanted to learn more about them, and if people knew of their existence. She gave up trying to learn about them herself and headed to the library.
Once there she met a woman, a librarian it seemed, who seemed interested in helping her. She heard the rumors about the creature in the abandoned mineshaft, but Chi didn't tell her she met the creature (or rather creatures as it were) and that they guided her to the book she presented the woman. She was particularly surprised that the book was completely written in the bohemian language, and though she couldn't read it Chi translated parts of it for her. One part that stood out was the phoenix goddess, which Chi tried to go into detail about but not much was written about her surprisingly. Like it was done on purpose.
"Perhaps this 'goddess' was the one who wrote the book?" The woman suggested, sitting at the table next to Chi as they went over the book.
"Perhaps, I was wondering who would have written such an extensive book about the elementals. The fire elementals are what I'm really interested in and their section is too short to get anything about."
"You said the book talks about a cave somewhere, is there anything about the location?" The woman questioned, watching Chi flip through the pages to find the one that talked about the cave of which she spoke.
"No, just that it's where the fire elementals reside and apparently it's somewhere within Earth Country like the other elemental caves."
"Do you know much about the five old gods, Kogane-chan?" The woman stood up and Chi followed. She knew of them, but not much about them specifically. The Kogane clan followed no real religion, only the practice of Shinobi arts. The woman led them to a shelf where she went straight for a book and presented it to the young girl. "A good amount of Iwagakurians still follow the teachings of the old gods, wanting to reach what is referred to as Teleos. The Five represent the elements along with a number of other factors, and the circle of five represents the cycle between them."
"The elements, life, death…" Chi began to read a part of the book and then stopped. She placed the book on a nearby desk and opened the elemental book, going to a passage that spoke about the life and death of the fire elements, how they lived long lives and with their death they would burst into ashes and be swept away with the cave's natural breeze way that ran through it. "Their cave has a breeze way, it looks like it's caused by an opening caused by a hot waterfall."
"What do you mean?"
"I think I know someone who's connected to the fire elementals, and I'm going to find them and her." She put the book on the table and ripped out the page she was looking at. "The four main elements are present, the fire elementals, the water fall, the cave, and the wind that runs through the cave." She held the page up to the light and noticed that some of the words, especially those which talked about the elements she spoke of, were much darker and noticeable when in the light. The page was definitely a map of some sorts but she wasn't sure where it started.
"That's amazing… You know, the hot water of the waterfall reminds me of the sea in Arcadia."
"Arcadia?" Chi remembered her time down there searching out information about Kyoi. It had to be there, where Kyoi spent a lot of time. The large hot springs area. She gave a bow and thanked the woman, "Thank you, you've helped more than you may know." She didn't smile on the outside but on the inside she was smiling at the woman for her help. She helped her find the pattern and the best possible starting point for the map...[/legend][legend="OOC; 753"][/legend]
