Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It has been quite some time since Tao began living in Satsu's estate, he began to make a name of himself as a shinobi as well, and finally he was sent out to his first mission. Imagen Tao's surprise to find out that the mission's difficulty appeared to be high enough to be given only to elite shinobi groups and on top of that, Tao was sent to do it alone. The mission was not something Tao would expect, he was to investigate a potential crime scene that apparently might be no more than a diversion of something much bigger. Still, Tao needed to had no choice but to divert his attention at the task at hand. He geared up and went to the office to pick up the information rooster on the mission for the designated locations he was supposed to investigate.

First up, there was a warehouse of sorts, a large metallic building which seemed to be in a pretty bad shape, it's windows were shattered and rust was growing on the walls. He slowly opened the door to see what was inside which appeared to be a large complex on rows with stacks of paper neatly organized into cardboard boxes, all placed on a shelf, this was supposed to be enclosed military area, there is no way anyone could easily sneak into it. The light bulbs were flickering and some of them were even burned out, it appears that the condition of this storage unit was quite terrible, but the surveillance was tight nonetheless, so it was difficult to see anyone accessing this place without transforming into a worker or a guard that changes their shifts. But then Tao began to wonder through what seemed to be endless rows of boxes, all neatly organized and covered with layers of dust.

"Hmm... What have we here...?"

Tao leaned over one of the rows and shinned with his palm towards one of the boxes. There were marks dragging near the box and the box itself didn't seem to cover as much dust as the others, heck the top seemed to be brushed off as well.

"Someone went through these papers recently..."

He pulled out the box and began flipping through the sections marked with letters designating alphabetical order. He noticed that section E was missing entirely, seeing as how large this place was, it was quite unthinkable that they'd have entire alphabetical sections empty, no the folders were missing. He placed the box back to the shelf and looked at the small label that was screwed on the shelf under the box which read "Inner Maruishi Architecture A-F", someone apparently took the planning of a section inside of Inner Maruishi, Tao could not begin to imagen what people would want from this sort of information, but he knew that he had to dig a bit dipper into it. He went over to check the list of borrowed information and saw that the information he found missing from the box he searched earlier wasn't there, someone stole it whether if it was within the unite or out of it. He sighed slightly and asked the guard to give him the list of names of those who entered and exited the building. He gave him a fairly short list of names that were there during his shift including the guard he switched shifts with and the one that was supposed to come after him. The information he got was not enough to conduct a good enough investigation to be able to find a suspect.

"Ahh, this is no good... I'll need to go through the surveillance cameras to get any useful information..."

Tao conducted and went to the central office of the guards that were stationed around that section. Tao requested to view the inner camera's footage over the past week and as he went through them, he saw nothing special, not until the screen shifted oddly and went back to normal. As he rewinded the video, he noticed that during that jump, there was an hour of footage that was missing. He had the time and date, he finished watching the footage just to be sure that he didn't miss anything else and then went to ask about what happened during the time the camera skipped on a whole hour. It seemed that there was an electrical blackout of the entire base during that time and it took them around the hour to bring back the power. It also was apparent that a rat chewed on the cables which was the source of the blackout but then, why did the files go missing, either it was that person's lucky day or they somehow caused this.

Tao got out of the building and went to look around the power station located right behind the building, apparently the cables were replaced with new ones and back then they had to resort in switching on the emergence power generator. He then noticed that right next to the power generating station there was a clear path towards a window frame that had no glass in it whatsoever, someone broke the window and entered or it was missing beforehand, but seems like an ideal way to enter the building. He came closer to investigate and brushed his finder against the lower portion of the frame, it had minimal amount of dust, someone definatly touched that section before, probably the cuprite. Tao by now knew, there was a crime and the theft was indeed true. Now he needed to find out who was behind it, what was the motive and who tipped them off to go and look for it, but that was for another day, it was time to report in and show them what Tao have learned thus far.
