Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Well, that... wasn't what I expected.</I><i></i> Upon finishing writing his answer, Hajime looked up and saw that not only was Ai's assault on the Jounin halted, it was halted by Garou. He hadn't quite expected a fellow student to stop the assault, believing that Manabu would take care of it himself, but he supposed that if it would be anyone it would be the boldest-appearing student. Hajime couldn't help but look at the struggle, his eyes slowly becoming wide with surprise and even a tinge of fear as Manabu's arms began to expand and lengthen to what appeared to be two, almost three times their original size, and judging from the man's already bulky build, it was clear that anyone would be at least a little intimidated. This intimidation would only grow as he watched both Ai and Garou be engulfed by the now massive hands with Ai having the misfortune of having his dagger-wielding arm stuck between two fingers, which then proceeded to crush said arm.

Well, that sucks,<i></i> he thought to himself, nearly jumping out of his seat when Ai was sent flying out of a nearby window. "Holy-" he began, immediately covering his mouth with both hands, hoping the Jounin didn't hear that. Him being quiet so far has kept him out of the trouble. He looked around, hoping no extra attention had been brought to himself, and lowered his hands believing he had kept his cool. He couldn't help but worry about Ai though, who could have possibly been dead from that fall. Luckily though, Garou didn't get a similar treatment; just a flick into the wall, which still could have been somewhat painful.

Finally, now that the commotion had settled, Manabu began to read the students' answers. Even though three of them were similar, with enough variation in between, it still wasn't enough to keep the hotheaded man from yelling. Maybe I shoulda chosen something silly, like name-calling. Once again he listened closely to the lecture, probably the closest he's listened to anything in his entire life. Every word needed to be understood, otherwise he could potentially screw up and be the second one out the window. Still, although he stopped himself from saying anything, those snappy comments still rang clearly in his mind. Fear of his life. Right. He's enjoying this, isn't he? The room was once again silent, save for Maiko asking if Garou was alright. Maybe he would be doing the same thing if he wasn't so damn frozen with fear.

Minutes later Ai returned, thankfully not dead. He was probably pretty close to it though from the looks of him. This guy's got a lot of heart,<i></i> he thought as Ai pretty much challenged Manabu to round two at a later time. It was then that Hajime realized that no one had answered the question yet and although it took some self-motivation, he decided he should be the one to do it. <I>Maybe if I give a good enough answer, he'll be pleased. Probably not though. He let out a small sigh. "I would guess that if you were charged with a Secondary, since this is a military jurisdiction... either nothing will happen because you'd be toughening them up, or possibly severe demotion." It was a little wordier than he expected, but it would have to do.

Shindo sat quietly as he watched the teacher's assistant gather everyone's answers while walking on the walls and on the ceiling which was probably to keep away from the fight on the ground. He handed the piece of paper to the assistant who then went on his way collecting the other answers from the rest of the students. He turned his attention back to the front of the room where he got to see something both amazing and extremely terrifying at the same time. The teachers arms suddenly grew to an amazing size which he then used to grab both Ai and Garou. He then broke Ai's arm and flung him out the window and then flicked Garou to the back of the class, which he then smashed pretty hard into the back wall. He thought about going to help Garou but another student had already gotten up to check on him, he remembered her name was Maiko. The teacher then sat down at his desk and read through their answers and still seemed disappointed with their answers, he then said "What the hell do your parents or guardians teach you at home? You all are lucky I can’t be bothered to learn your names, otherwise I might just make a few house calls." This really pushed his buttons, what right does that teacher have to say those things. His mother taught him all she could before she passed away and he lives his life everyday to make her proud.

He forced himself to listen to the rest of what the teacher was saying about secondary offenses and what would happen if you were tried for it. Though he was paying attention he couldn't help but watch the teacher smirk and laugh to himself when he talked about the student potentially hurting him severely and us being wards of the great Raikage who Shindo didn't really care about. After the teachers lecture Ai stumbled back into the class holding his broken arm and covered in large shattered pieces of glass all over his body and especially on his back. Shindo normally being the shy kid in class and easily embarrassed suddenly jumped out of his chair making a rather loud sound which echoed through the small classroom. He made his way to Ai and started pulling some of the shards of glass out of him that weren't too deep and were mostly flesh wounds. After he had gotten most of them out he shot a rather evil glare with a feeling of killing intent to the large teacher and stood up straight. "I agree that what Ai and Garou did at the start of class was rather annoying and extremely disrespectful to someone of higher rank. However what you did was just as childish and all you managed to show us was how much of a bully you really are. Just because you don't want to be here doesn't give you the right to treat us like garbage. Also about the parent and guardian comment earlier, I'm an orphan and even i was raised to be a better person then what you have become in all your years of life which shows how well your parents raised an ape like you." Shindo closed his eyes and let out a big breath of air to try and calm himself, after opening his eyes he looked the teacher straight in the eyes and said, "As for your question i think that for the charge of a secondary offense which involves physical harm and considering what just happened right here in the classroom. Even if he attacked you first a person of your rank and a person of his rank should be taken into account in this situation. The student should be punished for attacking his teacher with a suspension or have to wait a year before taking his genin exam. As for the teacher you should also be punished for breaking his arm with a demotion or some other serious consequence." Shindo sat down in the nearest desk he could and waited for the teacher to respond and he dared the teacher to attack him, an unarmed student.

Garou's eyes widened as the massive jounin grabbed both him and Ai. At first he struggled to escape from the man's vice-like grip, but eventually his entire body was paralyzed with fear of the inevitable. The boy remained as still as his quivering body would allow him, even after being flattened against the floor and flicked to the back of the room.

There he laid in a contorted heap against the wall, his body still shaking as his eyes remained fixed on the instructor, sparing Maiko only a glance as she approached him and asked if he was alright, her concern somewhat calming him down.

"I . . . I'm . . ." he began to speak as he repositioned himself into an upright position.

I guess I'm fine . . . but . . .

Vivid flashbacks of his father beating him with an empty sake jug haunted him for what seemed like a tortuously long moment, his body beginning to crinch and tremble as he entered a semi-catatonic state. Only when Ai and then Shindo spoke did the final mental image of his father--that of a man clutching his bleeding throat and choking on his own blood--released him, a sadistic glare and grin crossing his features as he chuckled.

"Save your breath," Garou addressed his two classmates as he finally stood up. "There's only one way to deal with monsters like him."

Without any further comment, he nodded towards Maiko before heading back to his seat, making sure to grab another pencil from an empty desk as he did so.

Mira's eyes widened. What the hell was going on here? This man had just assaulted a student. The room's temperature would raise a little bit due to an increased level of humidity. Ren stood up and had a blank look on her face. Outside began to change, winds started to blow and rain began to fall. She has had enough of this. she grabbed Mira by the wrist and began walking towards the door. "Let's go, We won't be able to learn anything from a neanderthal." Mira and Kyou stood up as well and began to follow Ren out of the door. Lightning struck outside as the girls passed through the door. Ren stopped behind her friends and let a single phrase fall from her mouth. "Grow the fuck up and realize that you are with children. Animal." With this the three girls were gone. They weren't going to stand for behavior like this.

[Intercepts Mirame from leaving the class]

His cousin was busy in her own class and he didn't wish to seem too noisy or too stalking of her. So he had been walking through the hallway when he began to hear incoherent shouting and other loud ongoings. He saw a door getting smashed and out came what appeared to be a young girl with 2 friends. They seemed to had a frustrated and annoyed walk about them their faces alone clearly speaking as loud as any screaming child.
Keiji would stand in his white lab coat hanging over his white training outfit underneath that was tied right below his knees, revealing his tanned skin and hairy legs, dark sandals kept his feet in check. On his head rested black dreadlocks tied to a loose ponytail. On his shoulder hung a black shoulder bag in which he kept a emergency kits and few selected surgical tools of his own choosing. His white hollow-like eyes stared at the three girls, but with a grim look upon his face. As would be expected to be seen from a higher ranking individual witnessing students abruptly leaving a class of learning.
By his side stood a small, brown furred dog with white spots looking at the girls with perceptive eyes.

"Oooh, hang on there for a second you three.." He spoke in a dark tone to stop them.

He eyed the three girls closely as the would stand right by the entrance to the class. He sat down on his ankles with knees pointing upwards as he rested his right arm on the tip of one of the knees he scratched his light beard on his chin.
His face turned from serious to a light grin, not wanting to scare the girls in any way. "What seems to be the issue here?" His eyes switched to the open door leading into the class where all the ruckus came from, and then back at the girls.

He waited expecting to hear an explanation from one of the three, if not all of them at the same time.

((Stopped: but I will stay true to my characters.)

As Mirame followed Kyou out of the room she noticed that Ren was taking a little longer. The speed in her pace began to slow down a little bit as she wanted to wait for her friend buy Kyou quickly responded by snatching Mira's hand and dragged her along. This was nothing new as Ren was always the cocky one with the big mouth. The young storm user exited the room and made her way to her friends. As the three were walking down the hall they were stopped by a man with rather unusual hair.

"Ignore him, he doesn't have power over us." Kyou said as she turned her nose up.

"But..." Mira wanted to stop and talk but she could feel the chakra coming from Ren.

The small Santaru child stopped in front of the man. Electricity was visible at this point as it danced around her body. She stared into older man's eyes before she spoke in a solemn tone.

"The only problem I've seen here is that the school is run by a bunch of fucking animals. So if you don't mind."

She began to walk past the intruder in an attempt to once again leave the school. She has spent the past couple of years learning how to become a shinobi and in those years never once has she seen such acts displayed upon mere children. What she saw today had the potential to actually kill a child. Many of these students have yet to receive any training and therefor may not have the strength to endure such attacks from a high ranking shinobi such as Manabu. The three girls once again tried to leave the school.

Clearly visible stressed and frustrated, he understood the apparent Santaru girl. Her hair was practically statically electrical.
Even though he may not have appeared as such, he understood.

"Power?" he raised his eyebrow to try and simulate confusion.
The Santaru began to lead the group by him, dodging his presence and partially ignoring him.
"Animals you say?" He eyed his dog next to him for a second.

Quickly as they were all next to him the dog ran in front of them and stood silently again.

"Just wait, give me a second.." He extended his hand with his hands flat out at the girls.
He stood back up and walked to the open class room door and peaked inside, he noticed Manabu seen, hopefully Manabu-san would notice Keiji's face, perhaps his dreadlocks he would be able to recognize, if he didn't see him immediately Keiji would cough for a second to catch his attention. The give him a deadly stare.. His eyes would go serious, his byakugan would be quickly activated and he would reach up with his hands in silence and with his index and middle finger extended he would point to his own eyes, then point towards Manabu. telling him by pure hand signs. "You're being watched now, don't go and do something stupid.."

He would then quickly look across the class room, and then slowly move his head back away.

Walking back to the girls he hoped would still be standing, waiting for him.
"I apologize for the wait, Manabu has his methods of teaching, listen, let me make it up for you and we can go for a walk, the five of us?" He included the dog in his counting, at which point she would have at this point began wagging her tail and waiting for their response eagerly. "My name is Suzaku Keiji, I'm a Med-nin. The current head of the Harvester Division, if you would allow me." He bowed like a gentleman and covered his belly with his one arm, and the other rested at his side in the fashion of a butler about to escort his master.

If she replied with a positive attitude he would be walking with them away.

The result of Ai’s attack had been about as effective as could be expected, the large man had simply hopped back after taking in the rest of the class, used his own abilities to expand and grow his arms to extremely large levels from the shoulder down, he used it to snatch both of the boys, one in each of his hands as if they were no more than Ai was the first one that suffered the consequences of his actions, snapping the hostile boy’s arm just below the shoulder and throwing him out a window. Garou had received a much milder form of punishment, smothering him to the floor with the hand before flicking him to the back of the room. While the trip was surely jarring, Kyo expected it hand damaged the boy much if it all if he had any training. It was then that the big man strode over and grabbed the papers from his hand, angry at the answers provided and the fact that the girls had not received clear enough instructions from him. They had been simple and straightforward, so his frustration at the answers was understandable. With a snort the man move back across the room looking them over and tossing them on the floor as he walked back to the front of the room speaking in a bored way about their answers, there had been multiple answers of theft, trespassing, assault, counterfeiting, vandalism and then one that stood far out which was Treason. “Of all the answers that one could pick, they chose treason as a primary? I suppose it fits what was said.” Kyo pondered to himself as he lifted the papers and set them into a small pack he had been given for them when he had been given the assignment, they were supposed to be given to Kotaza-sama after the class had finished and he intended to do so. He moved to stand where he had before by the desk.

Manabu questioned their parents abilities and told them that they were lucky that he could be bothered to learn their names or else he would go and educate the parents as to what it was they were doing wrong, “Might actually show an improvement in the abilities that the current crop of students display.” He went on to explain more about Primary offenses, mentioned the punishments and that Treason was an exception and that it as a massive umbrella and that if any of them made it that far then they would speak of it then. He pulled the desk out and leaned against it once more as he continued, talking of the Secondary offenses, explained that they were actions that caused physical harm with the exception of treason. He gestured to the window as he explained about Ai’s attack and that it could have otherwise been considered a secondary crime, then asked what the punishment would be if he had been charged with assault of an academy student. “A joke from him? Well I suppose that shouldn’t be so surprising.” He went on to mention that they were a Military jurisdiction, and that they were all wards of the Raikage.

Kyo watched as the girl with two different eyes went to see if Garou was ok after the little trip to the back room, she didn’t seem to have an answer for the question the instructor had asked and was more interested in the boys well begin. Ai returned not long after holding his broken arm close to his stomach and pointing his dagger at the teacher to utter one last threat before he collapsed to the floor, his arm giving a satisfying crunching sound as his body landed on top of it, face first. There was glass shards in his back and a paper had fallen from his pocket. The boy with a close shaved hair cut had kept himself quiet by holding his hands over his mouth to cut himself off, he sighed and answered, saying that either nothing would happen or he would receive a ‘severe’ demotion. At least the boy had an answer, unlike the girl who had went to check on Garou. The spikey brown haired boy moved to check on Ai, pulling the glass shards out of the boy and starting the blood flowing from his wounds, “Haven’t you been taught basic first aid? You don’t remove objects that impale until you’re ready to treat the injury. Move.” Kyo spoke as he moved to Ai side and gave a push to Shindo to get him out of the way, he would take a moment to remove what glass the boy hadn’t before performing a series of handseals before touching Ai’s bleeding body, after a moment the blood stopped flowing, satisfied with the work he looked over at the boy who had just been insulting the instructor once again before he answered ignorantly the instructors question before he moved to sit at the nearest desk, at least the boy had removed Ai from the area that would likely involve and attack. Kyo at that point concentrated for a moment, bringing charka into his hands and touching the student once more, this time he would be concentrating on healing the former gaping wounds in the back that had already stopped bleeding and started to seal over and providing the broken arm with a boost in the healing, the arm would be healed, but it would still be fragile and painful, the same as the wounds on the back. Kyo wasn’t as skilled in the healing arts as he was with those that he could use to bring about injuries, and as such he didn’t bother with trying to minimize the pain the boy would feel as he healed his injuries.

Kyo heard from the back of the room Garou calling the instructor a monster, though he made no more movies to bring the ire of the instructor upon himself before he took a seat, grabbing another pencil as he did so. Though he as well did not provide an answer to the question asked. Kyo took the paper that fell from Ai’s pocket before the three girls who sat at the front of the class stormed out, insulting the instructor multiple times on their way. After they left the room, there was some voice that could be heard from the hallway, and in a moment a man with dreadlocks poked his head in and motioned that he was watching Manabu before slowly retreating back to the hall. After the man’s head was gone Kyo shut the door, lifted Ai and set him in a desk so that his head was resting on his good arm, he moved back to the front of the handing the paper with Ai’s answer on it to Manabu without a word, another answer to the man’s question, which ha received few.

((Yes! there we go, I couldn't see my characters staying but with that post they have something to stay for!))

Ren was about to go and attack this man herself. SHe was not wanting to be here any longer. Kyou stayed beside Mira and clenched onto her hand a little tighter; she wasn't a fan of angry Ren. Then something perked Mira's interest. She turned to see the man bow before them as he asked if the could go for a walk. A little smile came across her face. Keiji? This man was her new sensei, or at least thats what Daisuke-Senin had told her. She stepped forward, still holding onto the Yamanaka's hand and had a smile on her face. She grabbed the corner of her skirt and gave the man a curtsy and smiled. Ren. Kyou. This is the man I was talking about. He's my new boss, Keiji-Sensei. Very well Mira. The Yamanaka let go of Mirame's hand and stopped. Ren stepped over to be standing by Kyou. The youngest of the three had a smile on her face as she stepped once more closer to the man.

"Hello Keiji-Sensei, My name is Mirame. Daisuke-Senin told me about how you will be in charge of my medical trainings."

The girls pointed a thumb back at her two friends.

"Don't mind them Keiji-Sensei, They're just overprotective of me because my latent abilities haven't bloomed yet, unlike theirs. A walk would be beautiful, especially after being in that overly stressful place."

She gave a backwards glance at the classroom she had just left before she was stopped. Kyou let out a sigh, she wondered what Mira was getting them all into now. She glanced over to the hot head Ren and placed her two innermost fingers of her right hand on her own forehead with grief. Ren was still mad. The girl's chakra hadn't subsided yet, but she hadn't started yelling again which was good for her. Ren, be kind for now. This is going to be important for Mira, don't ruin it. Fine. Telepathy was a wonderful gift that Kyou had and she made sure to use it wisely.

As one of them finally spoke positively Keiji stood up straight with eyes wide. "Oh thank Raiden! ... Wait, what did she say?"<i></i> "You'll be in charge of her medical train-"<i></i> Mirane then talked again, and Keiji's eyes grew a little wider and his jaw seemed to figuratively drop a little. "Yo- You're her Sensei?<i></i> "Uhm.. Apparently.."<i></i>

"Oh, I see! Uhm, right. Yes. Let's go then, Hitomi."<i></i> He pointed at the dog "Will lead the way."<i></i>
"Let us escort you all outside, I say we visit The Nimbus Delectatio, it's an excellent location to visit if you haven't seen it yet."<i></i>

He couldn't help but continue to think for himself in his mind..
"Daisuke-sama.. What did you sign me up for.. How am I supposed to take care of Junko and Mirame? I am NOT your babysitter! Oh, for Raiden's sake.. Please don't make her batshit crazy, please don't make her batshit crazy, please don't make her batshit crazy, please don't make her batshit crazy.."<i></i>
He continued to think as he would be walking and presumably making idle chatter with Mirame as they walked away from the now closed door to the class room, essentially ignoring whatever shenanigans Manabu might do.

((Yes, I'll start a thread up tomorrow for the both of us, if that's okay with you. (Just tell me over PM if you want to wait longer)))

Akimichi Manabu

Manabu watched the room almost passively as multiple students moved at once, his mind still largely focused on the sandwich in his desk drawer. The young girl with the multi-colored eyes rose from her seat, rushing to the aid of the student he had flicked to the back of the room. To the large Jounin’s surprise, the door flew open and Ai shambled back into the room, the student bloody and haggard but still holding the look of fierce determination. “You just till I’m stronger.” The boy threatened, still brandishing his dagger despite his apparent bloodloss. It didn’t take long for the boy’s willpower to give out however, his small body collapsing as he fainted, revealing the shards of glass in his back and neck. Much like Manabu, this boy would bare the scars of his mistakes.

A nervous voice spoke up, bringing the Akimichi’s attention to a boy with buzzed hair who was looking to the teacher somewhat sheepishly. "I would guess that if you were charged with a Secondary, since this is a military jurisdiction... either nothing will happen because you'd be toughening them up, or possibly severe demotion." This brought a wide grin to Manabu’s face, for the first time the teacher actually pleased with a response. Nodding his head in approval, he watched with an almost bored expression as another boy, Shindo, rose abruptly from his seat and rushed to Ai’s side. Without hesitation, the boy began pulling the shards from his peers skin before being shoved out of the way by Kyo the wonder assistant. As the senior student set to work properly healing the gushing wounds, the young boy turned to glare at Manabu, anger in his voice as he began his tirade. Glaring at the boy, the veteran teacher waited patiently for him to finish speaking, staring down his nose at the poor little orphan boy. Pointing a meaty finger at the boy, he simply glowered, wagging his finger and his head in disapproval as Garou spoke up, encouraging the other students to stay quiet and remain calm. ‘They’re learning, if slowly.’ He thought, his glare unwavering as the pack of girls near the back of the room rose in unison.

“Go on then.” He said, waving his hand at the door and intensifying his glare as the girls literally stormed out of the room. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched as Kyo drug Ai through the class, setting him gently on a desk away from the other students, confirming Manabu’s suspicions that the boy was gifted with natural intuition. Before he could continue his lecture however, a familiar dreadlocked face appeared in the door, glaring with veiny eyes at the burly teacher and making the universal sign for “I’m watching you.” Calmly as could be, the Jounin reached down onto his desk, pulling up a large folder and holding it up in front of him. Raising his other meaty hand, he extended his middle finger and held it behind the cover of the paper. While none of the students would be able to see, the Hyuuga would most certainly be able to make out the gesture, and it wouldn’t take much brainpower on the part of the students to infer just what Manabu was doing.

As Kyo shut the door, seemingly oblivious to the tension between the two older men, Manabu rose from his desk once again, facing the class with his arms crossed. “Oh, where to begin.” He muttered, his voice draw and sarcastic as he looked about the room from student to student. “You, with the buzz cut.” Gesturing to Hajime, Manabu nodded slightly. “You are correct, for the most part. There are clauses that cover academy related incidents, but your basic idea is on point.” Turning his eyes to the longwinded Shindo, he paused for a moment to glare before continuing. 'Are all the children in this room suicidal?' He wondered, picking up on the tone but completely ignoring the words. “I’m going to be honest with you boy, I tuned out half of what you said. Judging from the bit I picked up however, you should consider yourself lucky. I am here to teach you children how to be Shinobi, not coddle you with encouraging words. You don’t need parents, you don’t need a family. You need yourself and your comrades and you will do well to remember that.” Gazing back at the rest of the students, Manabu accepted the small slip of paper from Kyo before he began to pace across the front of the class, his mighty arms still crossed as his heavy footsteps thudded around the room. "‘Attempted murder, secondary offence, punishable by jail time?’" The note read, the Jounin discarding it to the floor with another slight nod. At the very least, the injured boy had learned something.

“To review, Primary offenses are nonviolent crimes handled largely in civilian court. Secondary are violent crimes including murder, dealt with typically between the village and us, the military. Finally, this leaves us with Tertiary. These are crimes that constitute treason, or acts made against the village or the Raikage. These are the worst crimes one can commit, and they are typically responded to with extreme action, usually resulting in the termination of the suspect. I want you all to give me an example of an Tertiary offense. These can be violent or non violent, as long as you believe that they fall under the umbrella of 'treason’. Introduce yourselves and speak one at a time, Kyo here will mark down your names as you speak them. If you want to get credit for this class, state your name and for Raiden’s sake don’t give me any lip. I’d hate to have to call that damn Harvester back in here.”

Glancing to where Ai lay prone, Manabu grumbled slightly. He would have to fill out papers for this one, which meant he would have to deal with Kotaza the Headmistress as well.I tried to warn them.’

[Bout done here kiddos, you MUST post in this round to get credit for the class. Good job keeping track of all the madness guys, this got one helluva turn out. Try to post within the week, and pm or skype me if you have any questions. Once again, if I missed anything let me know.]

Maiko blinked at Garou as he stood, nodding to her before going to his seat. She to went beck to her spot, listening to only half of what Manabu said."Introduce yourselves and speak one at a time, Kyo here will mark down your names as you speak them. If you want to get credit for this class, state your name and for Raiden’s sake don’t give me any lip. I’d hate to have to call that damn Harvester back in here.”was all she actually paid attention to. She then stood, again, and began to speak. "I`m Aoki Maiko. I believe that is all I need to say."She said, showing she hadn`t really been listening, promptly sitting back down afterwards, looking to the others. She let her thoughts wander as she waited for their introductions. She fiddled with her pencil slightly, doing so out of habit.

Shindo watched as the one boy Kyo performed healing jutsu on Ai's wounds. He could see his arm starting to fix itself and the wounds on his back were starting to disappear. "I guess all I did was make things worse in the long run." he thought to himself with his head down staring at his barren desk. He looked up at the teacher and expected him to kick him across the class but he just pointed his large finger at him and shook his head in disapproval. Well he couldn't help that he was wrong about his answer, I mean the laws were something he never thought he would really need. He heard a commotion behind him and watched as Mirame and her two friends got up and left the class, he could feel the hatred and electricity coming from the one girl which was overpowering. Not long after that he heard Garou speak from the back of the class and Shindo was glad that he didn't seem to hurt and was at least conscious now.

The large teacher began to talk to the rest of the class which Shindo tried to listen to what he was saying but then he looked at him and said, “I’m going to be honest with you boy, I tuned out half of what you said. Judging from the bit I picked up however, you should consider yourself lucky. I am here to teach you children how to be Shinobi, not coddle you with encouraging words. You don’t need parents, you don’t need a family. You need yourself and your comrades and you will do well to remember that.” Shindo clenched his fists on the table, "Somehow what he's saying makes sense but it also just seems awfully sad as well. Not needing your family, really? There's no way that's true, you always need family no matter what the situation. Though i understand that my life now will revolve around my fellow shinobi."

The teacher then addressed the class in a serious tone, “To review, Primary offenses are nonviolent crimes handled largely in civilian court. I’d hate to have to call that damn Harvester back in here.” He thought about it for a moment and finally thought of a good answer that will hopefully be good enough for the teacher. Shindo stood up after Maiko introduced herself and said, "My name is Nakamura, Shindo and the only thing i can think of would be attempted assassination of the Raikage which would definitely result in the execution of the would be assassin. Also before I sit down I would like to apologize to you for my rash and rude behavior, Sensei." Shindo bowed before the teacher before sitting back down in his chair.

Hajime, strangely, kept his eyes on the teacher as he gave his answer, hoping for approval but acknowledging the harsh possibility that he could be wrong. Luckily it was the former. His eyes widened a bit as he had finally seen Manabu smile for the first time during this entire hectic class, and he had smiled because of something Hajime said. Whew,<i></i> he thought to himself with a brief sigh of relief. He then looked over at Kyo tending to Ai, as well as to Garou when he began to speak. His eyes just wandered all over the place, trying to take in everything that had happened and anything that a person did at the moment to stand out, landing at Mirame and her friends with the latter two cursing out the teacher. I suppose with someone getting thrown out of a second floor window, someone was bound to react that way...<i></i> He then noticed a dreadlocked man come to the door and talk to the three girls, although he couldn't quite make out what they were saying, and leave with them after a short while.

It was only when Manabu addressed him that Hajime's attention was focused back towards the front of the room. The words spoken had just confirmed what Hajime thought: he was right. The rest of the speech didn't really pertain to him, but he listened anyway just in case he would be able to learn something new. Finally, the definition of a Tertiary offense was presented. This seemed to be the most important and most punishable of the three kinds of offenses, so Hajime made sure to listen extremely closely and even replay his own summary in his mind. The class seemed to be almost over and now was the time for the students to introduce themselves. First Maiko spoke but didn't answer the question, then Shindo spoke. He made sure to look as each person spoke so that he could put a name to the face. Since no one else had spoken up since, Hajime decided it was his turn. "My name is Akiyama Hajime. A Tertiary offense would be attempting to give away or sell village documents. Maybe that information would be dangerous in the wrong hands." He paused for a moment, pondering giving a possible punishment for it like he did for the Secondary offense, but since Manabu had already covered that there was no need.

After the others had spoken, Garou stood up, glaring at Manabu as he gave his own answer.

"My name is Hakusawa Garou, and an example of a tertiary offense would be leaving the village without prior approval."

If the only things I have to look forward to here are more jackasses like him, then I'll take my chances running.

[Sorry for super-crappy post :(]

Ai woke up groggy and still sore from his wounds. Examining himself briefly, he wondered if he had indeed suffered any wounds at all. How had he been healed? ‘Or was it all just a terrible jutsu?’ He wondered briefly. A wayward glance at the shattered window confused him further. Looking up at the instructor, he spoke.

“Ai Sasu, Indigo Stinger of Kumogakure.” He stated

Still a little dazed, Ai decided it was maybe best to think on and reflect upon this morning’s happenings. It had never occurred to him for example, that he could even lay a blow on someone above maybe Genin rank. It also never occurred to him that there were real consequences for his actions.

Trouble or fun? This was Ai’s paradox.

Rubbing his arm gingerly, Ai could swear he felt exactly where it’d broken. ‘So vivid.’ Chuckling quietly, he raised his pen and spoke again.

“This class has been very informative.” He said

Decided to keep his mouth shut for now, he proceeded to pull out his note pad. A red pen appearing out of now where began to carefully cross things out – followed by the mild hum of a black pen at work. Yes, he had gained much from this class. Still, grades had yet to be dealt forth. Ai had the sinking feeling that he may have failed. 'Hardy, har, har!'

Squinting intensely for several moments, then Ai then smiled in satisfaction. Closing the note pad and sheathing its’ still steaming pages – he awaited judgment.
