Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

To say the least, this class was beginning to get interesting to the young boy as he absorbed information quickly and by looking back at the more awkwardly introverted student in the back of the class and seeing where he was pointing with two fingers no-less, Eji quickly discerned that the sensei's name was Kitsune as well as the boy in the back yelling his head of was named Keiji.

Turning around fast enough to see his sensei's eyes change again, the shinobi-to-be wanted to know why they still were not normal and if her heritage as an Uchiha had something to do with them being the way they were; however, his mind was quickly scattered when the girl who had scolded him earlier decided to speak up and introduce herself.

Ah, what was I thinking just a minute ago? It was a good question.

I appeared distracted at first, but Hikari got my attention with a nudge of her elbow. After that, her words that seemed to be floating around in my brain finally registered. Of course, she didn't know what was going on in my head, and I wasn't about to say it to her in front of the teacher. After class, maybe but not now. But it was sweet how she tried to cheer me up I guess, so I returned the favor with a small smile before she made an attempt to introduce herself. My expression returned to that off annoyance, remembering the classes last year. Kumogakure was a place filled with a multitude of the blood line shinobi. To me, it seemed like we were a last refuge for those who wanted to start anew. The village hidden in the clouds was as far north as one could get safely after all.

I watched Hikari reveal her name and wondered if I should have done the same. There weren't that many people in the class, and she already knew the guy in the back somehow. I figured the boy in front would introduce himself. That meant that through process of elimination she would discover just who I was by looking at her list. I was in no mood to converse with her while she flaunted those red eyes.

"Well aren't you just busy being everywhere hm?" Keiji remarked sarcastically.
It may not have seemed like it, but he was thankful that she was the teacher, now his curiosity could be sated on what a Medical nin does all day.
And at least the teacher is someone he actually knows. Which just made things easier for him.
Keiji grinned widely "My head's just awesome!" He leaned forward slightly and knocked on his head 2 times as he looked forward and smiled "My head's as tough as steel." He paused for a second, then ended his sentence with the proper wording "..Sensei!"

Kitsune grinned at Keiji as he demonstrated the thickness of his skull. “Well, at least I know that if you run into any more doors, I can fix you right up.” she said and grinned ”I won’t bother with a rollcall, considering that it’s an open class, so let’s settle down, and get started shall we?”

”Welcome to Equipment 101: How NOT to use a Kunai. I’ll be your teacher today, and my name is Kitsune. And before you ask; no, we won’t be using kunai exclusively. Shuriken will also be used in this class.” Kitsune said

She looked at her students and pointed at the young boy sitting next to Hikari and said ”Can you explain to the class what a Kunai is?” after looking a bit more she pointed at another student, the boy who had bombarded her with questions before, and said ”You’re the lucky one, please explain to the class what a Shuriken is, if you can.”

”As I said, we’ll be using both tools in this class, however, that isn’t going to be just yet.” Kitsune said and held up a kunai. ”This, is a kunai, you will learn to throw them, and use them in a hand-to-hand combat.”

She grinned “And if any of you gets hurt, we’re covered there too. Don’t worry.” she said, hoping that it’d lighten the mood a bit. ”However, any intentional harm to other students or teachers will not be tolerated, and I will make you unable to walk for a week if I have to.” she said the last bit with a bit of force in her voice.

Afterwards she held up a shuriken. “A shuriken. Brilliant little tools for throwing. Poison can be applied to the blades, to make them rather lethal weapons. Today you’ll learn to throw them properly however.”

Keiji had sat down when Kitsune started explaining and talking.
as she had finished he descriptions Keiji raised his hand and spurted out a quick question.
"Umm, Sensei?, wouldn't you also be able to apply poison to a Kunai just as well as a Shuriken? Just in order lethalize the weapon all the more?"
He smiled enthusiastically as this was his first time dealing with actual lethal weapons, his father never showed him or taught him anything of any of the equipment he used as a Nin of Kumo.

I watched her as she introduced herself as explained the title of the class and how it would. My eyes actually brightened at the prospect of the class being more than just kunai, but they grew dark once again when she revealed it would just have shuriken added to the roster. Since we weren't going to go over any real weapons, this class just got that much more boring for me. Sure Kunai were dangerous, but throwing them and shuriken weren't the most stealthy actions and could be easily dodged. Let alone shuriken hardly doing any damage.

But suddenly, my thoughts were halted by the catching of her finger pointing at myself. What a Kunai is? Simple. "Hai, Sensei. A Kunai is simply a unique knife used by ninja. It has an open circle on the end for various uses, mainly traps." I replied in a simple manner and then went back to starring at those red orbs inside her head. I had never seen someone constantly have them active before, at least, the guy I had met last year only used it when he was sparring. My attention quickly turned from that to her other words. She presented to us a summary of just what was going to be included in this period of class. Poison: A must have for ninja. I never took a class including them as they were probably afraid students would do something stupid with them. But right then I knew I would need to learn about them if I wanted to have an advantage in this years exam. There was always a chance that they would make students spar to test them. If I had poisons, I would have a better chance if that happened.

The boy in the back posed an obvious question that I already knew the answer to, but he said it in a way as if correcting her. I looked back to him with a smile and exhaled with a smile. "Maybe you aren't so dull..." I mumbled to myself. Hikari would have been the only one to hear me if she were paying attention.

After listening to the Sensei introduce the lesson to the class, the small child was quickly assailed with information that was quite foreign to him. Being raised by two retired shinobi who love to plant and grow their own food, the small boy knew that Kunai's were not unique to only ninja's. Rather, Eji knew it as clunky piece of metal better suited for prying open things, wedging a piece of wood to split it, or maybe even use it to tie a tent down around crops to keep them from being drowned; however, before he could raised his hands to question what the boy had said, Eji remembered that he had to address his own question.

"Ah, I don't know," stated the small child in a meek voice.

With little to no acknowledgement, Eji watched as his sensei continued with the lesson, which more or less warned the class to not be taking obscenely dangerous actions, and that they were going to cover how to use a shuriken properly. It was about this time the student in the back stood up and talked about poisoning kunais. Since Eji didn't know much about the subject, he chose to keep his mouth shut to see if his sensei had anything to say.

Hikari watched the others answer questions, and sat back in her chair with a frown. Not even an acknowledgement other than a 'we won't be taking roll'. Hikari shrugged to herself and doodled a Kunai in the margin of her notebook, waiting for something to actually happen. Zaku answered sensei's question easily, as she expected, the little boy who asked a lot of questions didn't know the answer to his, and Keiji, the boy with the thick skull asked about poison. Hikari perked up attentively at the mention of poison. After he spoke, Zaku turned a bit in his seat and mumbled, 'Maybe you aren't so dull..."

"Or maybe somebody is easily impressed." She joked beneath her breath, trying to tease her new friend out of his funky mood. "Might be right though." She said to herself, as she thought, I need to read up on poisons...

When Kitsune told them that no intentional harm would be tolerated, Hikari frowned, "Sensei, are we going to be sparring, if so... how can we fight without trying to harm each other?" Especially as Nin were supposed to be deadly. "Of course, if we're actually trying to kill each other, it might make sense that you threaten like that, but... we aren't here to learn how to play fight, after all."

”Of course you can Keiji.” Kitsune said ”We just aren’t going to cover poisons in this particular class. But, I figured that you should at least know about it, as it will undoubtedly be useful to you later.”

She looked back at Zaku and said ”Precisely right. Well done.” before looking at Eji ”You’ll learn, don’t worry.” she said and smiled. ”Who knows… I might ‘accidently’ bring out the ‘wrong’ cabinets with the poisoned weaponry.” Kitsune said in a low tone and grinned ”Fortunately for you guys, they don’t keep the lethal stuff here. Only paralytics. Still useful though.”

”It’s simple Hikari, we won’t be doing sparring, you will however be doing target practice on the throwing range.” Kitsune said and winked, her red eyes giving off a slight glimt. ”In the case that anyone has any questions, now’s the time before we go out.”

Kitsune got off the desk she had planted her rear on, and said in a loud tone ”Alright people, we’re going to the training area, follow me.” she waited a short bit before walking out of the classroom, towards the training area, making sure that the students were also following her so they didn’t get lost.

Upon reaching the training area, she guided everyone over to the throwing range, and rolled out a scroll before placing her hand on it and bringing forth two cabinets, the ‘wrong’ cabinets mind you. One filled with kunai, and the other filled with shuriken. ”I want each of you to grab a kunai holster, and a shuriken holster, as well as 3 kunai, and 7 shuriken.” Kitsune said, before opening the cabinets ”When you’ve taken the items, go line up by the white line behind you.”

After seeing that everyone had gotten the items they needed, Kitsune closed the cabinets and turned towards the students. ”Okay kiddos. The targets are 150 feet away from you, hit as many as you can.” she said and looked at them. ”Kunai only, for this round.”

Re: Equipment 101 - How NOT to use a Kunai [Open Class]

I chuckled slightly at what Hikari said to me, quickly stifling it before it was noticed by the teacher. The boy in front of me seemed to but unknowing of how to answer; a all around valid answer in fact. If it weren't for my previous years education I wouldn't have been able to answer about Kunai. I had only paid attention that class because these things were dangerous. Nevertheless, I nodded afterwards, listening to my new friends logical words. How were we going to spar without the intent to kill? That would not prepare us for the harsh world of ninja hood. Ah, Sensei revealed the true nature of our exercise. Merely throwing at targets would help us with our aim, and I for a fact knew I needed practice. She offered a chance for questions, to which I did not take.

After any more questions would be answered, we were lead to the training area in a quiet manner. There weren't many of us, so it didn't cause anyone passing by to inquire as to the mass transit. We did get a funny look from a older student, probably a genin, but that was about it. We made our way to the throwing range where a quite a few targets were set up at varying ranges so we could really put our skills to the test. She took out and opened a scroll, which I assumed to be a summoning scroll. I had only heard about them, never actually seen one. But when she brought forth two cabinets full of weapons, needless to say, my eyes were wide in wonder. "All in a little scroll..." I said in awe and then snapped back to reality as she gave instruction. I quickly made my way to the cabinet first to grab the pair of holsters and pieces of weaponry to fill them with. Backing away, placed the throwing weapons in their appropriate slots and then made my way behind the white line painted on the ground.

Then we were given our objective. I pulled a fresh Kunai from the holster and looked at it for a bit, questioning on just how to hold it. At first, I gasped it with three fingers by the handle. And threw it with sufficient force at one of the dummies in front of me. It flipped over and over and hell into the dirt butt-end first and clinked on a rock as it failed horribly. "How do you even hold them..." I questioned and tried to think of how I had seen it done, the few times I had ever seen it. In my memories the Kunai always flew straight without tumbling. I smirked and looked at my next Kunai. I thought or a moment and began to try to simulate different throwing motions. Overhand would make it tumble... and side arm would make it spin. My face looked defeated and I began to twirl it in my hand. Squinting my eyes, I looked down and gripped it. Maybe it wasn't how I was throwing it. Maybe it was how I was holding it! I grabbed it in a unique fashion, placing two fingers on the blade and gripping the handle with my other three. Making a sideways motion, and tossed the Kunai outward with force. But instead of meeting the target, it went 4 targets wide and completely faltered in range. I grimaced and pulled the last from my belt. It would seem I was going to need to practice a lot to become accurate.

After being consoled by the teacher, Eji didn't feel nearly as bad, but not knowing something began to eat away at the back of his mind. Though, he didn't have long to ponder on his lack of knowledge or how to correct it before the teacher commenced speaking again. The small kid wasn't daft socially, so he picked up on the small joke. However, there was a part of him that honestly believed that their could be a mix up and that would lead to him being paralyzed in the nurses office. Then again, he'd never experienced paralyses before, so he wouldn't mind it happening to learn from the experience.

After a small time was given for questions, the small Cloudian as well as the rest of the class was escorted to the training field. Once there, the small kid watched as two Cabinets appeared from a single scroll, which he thought was the most awesome thing on the face of the planet. Though, he didn't have much time to bombard her with several question because she went straight into the next tasking. Shrugging off the questions for later, Eji went up to the cabinets aquired the neccessary items as he was told. After retrieving the items, he lined up on the white line with a Kunai holster on his right leg and the shuriken holster on his left arm, which was his non-throwing arm. About this time the small boy realized just how far the targets were from the white line and his mouth dropped open.

After his teacher gave out the order to throw their kunai, Eji reached down and retrieved all of his kunai at once, and then with all of his might, the fledgling student volleyed them into the air at the same time with a decent arc of maybe twenty feet. Sadly, all three Kunai landed about halfway between him and the targets. Proving that even if he used the strategy of probability, he didn't have the strength necessary to even make the probability of hitting realistic. Turning back to look at his teacher after his volley of fail the boy said, "I'm eight, and that's really far away."

"Its simple..." We wouldin't be sparring. Just target practice. Hikari deflated a bit. How not to use a Kunai was actually how not to throw a kunai or a shuriken. It wasn't that she thought her aim was all that great, it was... just a little disappointing.

"Of course, Sensei." She said as she grimaced, but stood with the rest of the class and filed out toward the practice ring. She knew a bit about Kunai. They weren't designed to be throwing weapons, though that didn't mean they weren't deadly when thrown. She'd read a bit about ninja who used them to cause explosions, and some who sent them flying further through use of chakra. Hikari wondered if any of the others had read what she had, She doubted it of Zaku, and the inquisitive boy, but she had no idea about Keiji.

She wondered what sign would make chakra flow best to her arms so that she could hit the target where the others, Zaku and little Eji could not. She cycled through the signs in her mind before resting upon ram. If it could direct chakra to her feet, it could probably direct it to her hands. She grinned as it became her turn to take the weapons from the cabinet which apparently had been summoned by sensei. Three Kunai and seven shuriken. She walked back to where she'd been standing and practiced her hand seal, which seemed to be working well enough, then, she flung the first dagger. It went wide, possibly because of the chakra technique she had employed ineffectually, if intuitively, the kunai lodged its self several yards away from the arm of the target she was aiming at. She grimaced. "Close isn't enough, Hikari. That wasn't really even that close." She told herself as she lined up with the second one. She was aiming for its breast. She took a moment to align her shot, her chakra, then she let fly the dagger. It flew short landing with a clang, in the dirt before the target. She thought though, if the technique had worked it surely would have hit her mark. This time she threw it, forgetting the technique in her haste and it stuck! in the wooden post at the base of the target. Hikari kicked the dirt in disappointment. "Guess it didn't work." She mumbled. going back to stand by Zaku.

As much as she really wanted to excel... well it was only a first try... She huffed sadly, then perked herself up after remembering that she had successfully directed her chakra away from her feet into her arms, even though it hadn't worked. It was cold comfort, but comfort none the less. She tried to fade into the background once more and practiced the sign while directing chakra to other areas of her body. Arms, elbow, shoulders. calves, fingertips, lips- that one was weird- ears-that one hurt- nose-also a mistake.... and so on. Would my friend be proud to see what I am making of his lesson? She wondered. She had been practicing quite a lot. She'd even almost figured how to do something pretty cool, intuitively. Gekido would probably grin and correct her. She thought, returning her mind to the lesson, so that she could learn from Kitsune-sensei.

Her thoughts returned to the technique. Maybe she needed to make her aim better before she could do that. And perhaps having chakra in her hands wasn't helpful for throwing... it certainly hadn't seemed helpful. "Pay attention, Hikari." She muttered to herself.

the smile on Keiji's face widened as Kitsune answered his question.
Worked like a charm hehe.. he thought to himself.
He noticed the smile sent to him by the guy sitting a few rows in front of him.
Keiji smiled back and gave a thumbs up.

As Kitsune went on, Keiji leaned back and held his arms behind his head.
He relaxed as the class went on and Kitsune kept talking.

"Oh, we're heading out?" Keiji asked when Kitsune was talking about the training area and was partly already on her way out.
He got up and followed along the troop as they headed towards the training area, as they walked, he stayed furthest back and simply held his hands behind his head and looked at the ceiling.
He'd never seen the training area before but he knew what he was getting into.
He'd played around with the idea of training with throwing weapons, and finally he had his chance, he was quite excited.

When Kitsune use the scroll to make the cabinets appear he knew full well of the sealing techniques, and their potential, although he hadn't learned how they work, he just knew that they just worked.. Somehow..
He grabbed his equipment and went to the white line in front of the targets and prepared to strike. He had placed his Kunai holster around his left leg, and the shuriken holster around his left forearm under his sleeve.
Keiji looked to his sides to see the failed attempts of his class mates, he had analyzed the movements of his blond classmate, he saw him analyze his own movement for every throw.

He grinned and took out one of his Kunais. Tightening his grip, he bended his throwing harm holding the Kunai, lifted the arm, pretended to throw getting the angle correctly in place, he imagined the flight path in his mind, if he threw it correctly it wouldn't fly so rampant as what happened with the blond classmate.
If he released it right as he had reached the target with his hand in the correct angle the Kunai would be thrown in a much more straight line.

He leaned is arm back, preparing to throw. his eyes closed and he took a deep breath. Then as quick as lightning he opened his eyes, staring directly at the target in front of him he began to move his arm for the throw.
Further, further, FURTHER, RELEASE! He released the Kunai in a quick movement gave it as much strength as he could possibly put into it.
The Kunai in the air moved only slightly out of of the planned trajectory, The kunai striked the ground right in front of the target hit the ground with a hardened bump, and it stood up, he had successfully gotten the angle correct, now he needed to get the target hit.

As the Kunai hit, Keiji had leaned forward and rested his arms on his knees, he breathed out heavily, as he had held his breath right at the throw.
He sighed and looked at the ground "Phew!" He paused for a second and said out loud to himself "First part done.. Next is actually hitting!"

”Not bad, kiddos. For students, I’m surprised that you threw them as far as you did” Kitsune said and grinned, before walking out on the range and grabbing all the kunai thrown there, and then walking back, and giving the students their three kunai back. ”Okay. This time it’s Shuriken. Again, try to hit as many as you possibly can.”
Kitsune saw that Hikari had tried using chakra to let the kunai further. ”Bright thinking Hikari.” she said and smiled ”Using your chakra like that is a brilliant idea. Bonus points for you.” she said and winked at Hikari. ”And Eji, for an eight-year old, you did brilliantly. Keiji, you did very well too. So did you Zaku.”

Kitsune bent down and picked up a kunai off the ground and threw it at a target, hitting it dead center in the chest. ”I’m assuming that it’s your first class on equipment I take it?” she asked her students ”If it is, I’m proud to see that the students of Kumogakure aren’t weaklings or without talent.”
She grinned, and planned to switch targets after the students had thrown their shuriken. The moving targets would definitely be a bigger challenge to them, and make it feel like proper usage of the tools. ”Don’t worry, its fine if you don’t hit. They are quite far away after all. Try your best, and be careful, they’re sharp.”
”Zaku, you go first.” she said before continuing ”And then the rest of you get ready, only one thrower at a time, or it’ll get confusing and most of the shuriken won’t make the targets.”
She smirked and let her eyes shift back into her Mangekyou Sharingan to allow her to track every single movement her students made. ”And, begin~.”

Re: Equipment 101 - How NOT to use a Kunai [Open Class]

MyLastNerveZaku-1.jpg
I took my kunai from the instructor in a calm manner, carefully avoiding direct contact with her eyes. While I waited for her to finish talking, I couldn't help but get hung up on what she said to Hikari. Holstering the knives into their appropriate spot, I pondered what she had said to her. Chakra... could she be using it to make them fly farther? Spin faster? Anything was possible; no doubt I was going to try my own take at using chakra this round.

As Sensei tossed a kunai with precision, I smirked as she assumed such a thing. This would be my second because of last year. But I wasn't going to let her know that so I kept my lips shut. Even when her praise came, my face remained rigid. Something about it struck me in a way that put me off. Of course we weren't weak. We would have been sent home if we were. I reached down to grab my shuriken, placing them between my fingers to prepare a normal volley. But I heard my name, and quickly looked over. Oh, just telling me to go first... I exhaled and paid attention as she spoke but then, something shifted. Her eyes changed back to that form first seen in the classroom. My fists grew tight around the metal, alarms of pain rang through my nerves. What are you watching... I asked myself while my heart began pumping hard. I turned to the targets without a moments notice and began throwing the stars.

My chakra flowed freely through my fingers, my anger pushing it out in overload. It controlled the shuriken to such a degree that on each of the targets I aimed for, the pieces of metal lodged right where a pair of eyes would be. Each volley flew the same, with jealous hate behind it. None of my shurikens would miss this time-- for the first time. Once I realized it was over, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, backing away from the line to let the next person go.

Feeling a bit better about himself after his sensei padded the fall for his ego, the small academy student felt a bit better about the next event; however, Eji really couldn't help but dread. Luckily, he wasn't the first up that honor was given to Zaku. Observing Zaku's motions, the boy watched as his classmate nailed the target. More interestingly, Eji picked up on how guarded Zaku was being, but the young boy just quickly dismissed the thought thinking that his classmate was probably mentally preparing himself for the event.

Wondering how Zaku managed to nail his targets, the young boy stepped up to line and held up his first shuriken, but after looking at the moving targets for a second or two, the boy lost all confidence. After loosing said confidence the boy just chucked all the shuriken volley after volley into the air. Once he was out, the boy looked down the seemingly impossible range and saw that the farthest one reached about four feet shy of his Kunai volley. After finding all of his shuriken, the boy's shoulders slumped over as he back off the line in defeat.

Hikari was surprised at the praise, "Thank you sensei." She said with a bow, It was brilliant? It didn't even work... She thought curiously.

Then she watched her friend angrily hit it each target in the eyes... or where the eyes would be if they were real. She could feel something explosive. She didn't quite know what it was, but on some level she could tell that he had imitated her trial. He was using his chakra. She watched the way he threw the shuriken. She watched young Eji throw, and then when it was her turn she used her seal, eyes closed so she could feel her energy without distraction... It was easier every time.

Channeling her chakra into her arms, and then fingertips til they felt full, she opened her eyes, and threw two shurukien one for the chest, and one right between the eyes. She noticed that these were much easier to throw. Well, they were designed for it. As the first volley hit, she grinned. A little bubble of excitement had formed within her and it made her want to jump, almost to squeal like a little girl. But she didn't. She remained calm, became much more confident. The next two hit the area below the chin. The third pair hit a marginally more difficult target, the hands of the practice dummy. "It got easier." She said to herself. Then she grinned. One Shurukien left. She threw it at the side of the head of the target furthest from her. She wasn't really expecting it to hit, but wouldn't that be great if it- She froze, lips parted and then she grinned. "I hit everything I aimed at! The technique works. Sensei, I hit everything I aimed at!" She turned to Zaku, She practically bubbled over with glee, "I did it!

She danced over to where her stars had lodged themselves and removed them carefully, before returning them to their places on her body. I am so happy right now! She said, dancing back to the place by Zaku. The words 'i did it!' kept playing over in her head. "Good shots last time, Zaku." She said, nudging him with her elbow.

Before Kitsune had said her line about what to do next Keiji had fired his last 2 Shurikens both had hit the target, but only barely.
One striked the side of the target and resulted in splinters flying to the side.

Keiji sat down as Kitsune was explaining the rulings of the next setup. How it'd be with one target and each will take a turn to fire.
Perfect he thought, then that'd give him more time to analyze the other students, what and how.

Keiji felt a bit distraught by the lack of precision in his hitting. Bah, ranged attacks are for wusses.. he thought to himself and kicked the dust as Zaku went up to the firing range.
Looks like it's Blondy first up Keiji grinned at the nickname he just figured out he'd use for him. Blondy, hehe

As Zaku hit the target where he did, he looked back at sensei Auuuchh! his face changed to the kind of grimace you make when you see someone hurt and you can just imagine the pain caused..
Anger issues maybe? he thought as Zaku turned around to leave the firing range and leave it for the next one up.

The youngest student in the class didn't seem to be doing all that great, disinterested, and not that bright. He didn't even try! He thought to himself.
Keiji did remember the amount of questions he had asked, maybe his talents lie elsewhere. Keiji always believed that everyone has a talent, and something that they're good at, well, everyone except for his father.

As Hikari got up to the firing range he admittedly got a bit excited, using chakra to fire her Kunais didn't seem like half a bad idea.
Although Keiji didn't know how to focus his chakra at any given point he did however know that it existed and while he was training he could sort of focus something that may have seemed like chakra to his fingers and hands.
It did result in him punching through wooden boards a whole of 3 cm thick, with his index and middle finger. He knew the benefits, but he didn't know how many, or how much the benefits actually were.
He examined her use extensively, closely looking at her movements and the direction of her focus. Nice figu- Keiji stopped for a split second and then resumed.
Her eyes closed he could see her focusing, he couldn't see the chakra, but something in him sensed where her focus went.
She fired and hit directly at the target with a nod and a smile he acknowledged her skill, and ingenuity.
Now he just wished he could produce the same result.

He got up, picked up the Kunai, and holstered them.
He walked up to the line, lifted up his Kunai and attempted to focus his chakra. He felt the moving energies in him, but the focus was lacking, and he could only focus a partial of his energy and it only went to the fingers and hand.
Bah! This won't work! He stopped, and instead focused on the targets, movement, placement of hand and the technique used. He placed it correctly like last time, his focus was straight on, analyzing the movements of the moving targets sliding to the sides striking where the target would be instead where it is, a natural assumption he believed.
He launched the first Shuriken, "Dead center!" He hit the target in the middle of the stomach, right where he intended to.
He threw another, "Dead center! Hahah!" he laughed at his own precision, right in the middle of the head, where the nose ought to be.
As he picked up the last one, he was a bit too fast and cut himself a little bit in the tip of his index finger, a small drop of blood escaped from his finger. He ignored it, and instead prepared to throw.
He threw it successfully, and just as he had targeted, he hit the hand of the targeting dummy. He turned around to Kitsune, and said with a grin "Target has dropped it's weapon Sensei!"

Keiji got off the targeting line, and walked over to the same place as he sat before, right when he was about to sit down he felt his head getting heavy, his eyes got dark. "Ohh.. Noo..." he said to himself out loud. He knew this kind of feeling, though weirdly different. His body felt heavy and his feet, hands and body started to feel numb. He still remained in control, but it all felt weird.
He sat down with a bump, and simply sat there staring at his hands. The numbness was slowly taking over.

Kitsune clapped her hands together and smiled ”That wasn’t bad either, way over my expectation actually; well done.” she exclaimed ”Okay. This time, I want you to—“ was all she managed to say before she saw Keiji topple over and land on the ground, seemingly unable to move. ”You cut yourself, didn’t you Keiji?” she asked him before kneeling down next to him, already formulating an antidote in the back of her head while her hands worked fast to mix up some of the herbs she kept in her med-kit with some water to make the antidote for him.

”Lets see… This goes in now… This after…” she mumbled and mixed up the things she had picked out and then shook the bottle to mix it all together, before tipping the opening into Keiji’s mouth, letting the liquid flow into his mouth, so he could drink it, and be released from the paralysis.
Once the medicine was all inside Keiji, she got her things back into the med-kit and said to them all ”Be careful with the weapons. It seems I picked the wrong scroll when I brought out the cabinets. These are the weapons covered in paralytics.” Kitsune said before continuing ”We’re going to change things up a bit. We’ll be using moving targets this time, and you’ll be allowed use of both kunai and shuriken.”

She looked at her students and then looked directly into Hikari’s eyes ”Hikari, why don’t you go first, and show us what you’re able to do against these moving targets?” Kitsune asked of her and winked, before making a few seals, that allowed the dummies to start moving like people, giving the students something of a challenge this time.

”The rest of you, prepare yourself. And again, be creative. Strings could be of great use to you. Just throwing that out there.” Kitsune said cryptically and grinned. ”And try to be as precise as you can. The more hits to the bullseyes, the greater the chance is when it comes to you surviving an actual battle. Precision is important.”

Hikari watched Keiji hit his targets. Good shot. She thought as he walked back to his place, then he fell. Hikari looked down at her weapons, remembering Sensei's coy speech before they had left the classroom. 'Who knows… I might ‘accidently’ bring out the ‘wrong’ cabinets with the poisoned weaponry.” Kitsune said in a low tone and grinned ”Fortunately for you guys, they don’t keep the lethal stuff here. Only paralytics. Still useful though.'
Hikari frowned, "Just the paralytics. He'll be alright"

Sensei locked eyes with Hikari after she changed up the targets, starting them moving. She said, "Hikari, why don’t you go first, and show us what you’re able to do against these moving targets?” With a wink. Hikari grinned, She already had an idea. "Get creative, huh?" She grinned. She hoped she could pull it off. She stepped over to the cabinet. She grabbed a cord and carefully attached it to her kunai as she watched sensei mix an antidote to the poisons. "I really need to read up on poisons." She murmured to herself as she tightened the knot on her kunai,

She began to pace with the target. Back and forth, in sync, as she tied another kunai to the other end. The first she threw at one the dummy which slid mechanically back and forth on its tracks, the second, she threw at one the puppet target which smbled along in the opposite direction. Each kunai hit the targets in the midsection. The rope between the two moving dummies was rapidly becoming taut, then they stopped and turned around. It was too long. "Baka." Hikari muttered to herself, she threw two of her shuriken at the third dummy, which was also of the puppet variety. The small star shaped blades hit the side of the dummy, just above the hip. She sighed as she watched the two connected dummies pace back and forth, until the rope was slack. It rested on the ground lazily for a moment before Hikari growled unintelligibly. If she'd known the rope was too long she would have shortened it somehow. Now it was useless. She threw her remaining Kunai at the head of the third dummy, then shot her shuriken at the two she had already hit with the rope and Kunai. Each hit was in an area with a major vein or a large cluster of nerves in the case of the last one.

She turned to the Sensei and sighed, "Well, that was my idea..." She said going out to collect her kunai while the dummies continued moving. It wasn't easy until she climbed on the back of the one on tracks as it went along and just plucked the final three from its body. She jumped off and went about untying the rope while grumbling about its length. "You're up Zaku-kun!" Hikari said, tossing him the length of string. "Good luck."
