Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was obvious when they were getting close to Wind Country. The cold ocean air grew warm, and the smell of the open sea gave way to the smells that were carried by the air currents brought from land. It was a familiar smell. After all, Onamuji had been raised in Sunagakure. They helped him master his abilities as a shinobi, which in turn helped him control his power as a Rikudo Sennin. When he left, it wasn't out of ill will or contempt, it was simply a desire to act independently. After all, that was always his greatest strength and most dire weakness - his independence.

The laws of the shinobi nations were a good thing, but there were rare - but inevitable - times when these laws were harmful to the world at large. When threats arose in one country, it was trouble enough for the powers-that-be to muster a response. When a threat wasn't isolated to one nation, but either traveled or had no solitary location to focus on, it wasn't so simple. There would always be tensions, if not all-out warfare, between villages at any given time. It was the nature of mankind, after all. So what, then, would happen when a force grew out of control in a nation that the others had no intention to assist? By the time any actual response was prepared, it would be too late. The things that Onamuji had seen in his dreams wouldn't threaten a village, they would threaten everything. No Council or Daimyo could prevent it from within their walled-off nations, even if they wanted to.

That was why he felt the need to wander. Not out of hatred or rebellion, but out of a desire for the freedom to assist the shinobi world from the outside rather than from within. Even without his allies, or the dream of a revolution in Moon Country, his purpose remained. Though with no clear focus at the moment, a return to his former homeland seemed appropriate - even if dangerous. Would they kill him on sight? Perhaps. Or perhaps not. There was only one way to find out...

The ship sailed into the docks at Soon's Haven, and Muji paid his fare. His hands trembled slightly at the sudden rush to his senses that a bustling town brought in, but took a deep breath and continued onward.
