Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been awhile since new sources of water had been discovered in Sunagakure and as such when one was found, it was often thoroughly inspected prior to being used for public consumption. Who better to do this than a Med-Nin with a penchant for microbiology and an affinity with water, one of the few in the village? In Yume’s mind she was ideal for the job. The moment she checked the bulletin for her task she squealed with glee, scooped up CuRua, grabbed a few choice items for common bacterium and set out on their journey. The location she was given wasn’t too far outside of the village but she still required constant vigilance. Around every corner could be danger or a pitfall which she could be trapped in for days or weeks before someone was sent looking for her. Not that Shinji would let her be missing for that long, but the tunnels were a maze and it was easy enough to get lost. Noses to the ground, the Inuzuka sniffed out the exact location of the water source. It turned out to be similar to the location that Asagao had taken her to a month prior. Using her attuned nose and keen ears, she slowly groped in the darkness until the passage opened up to a dimly lit cavern which was home to the point of her mission. Kneeling at the water’s edge, she promptly takes a large sample in a 1L container for further analysis back at the lab.

Through investigation and observation, it becomes apparent that a vein of the villages current water source runs very close to this spring. Ensuring to keep a barrier between the current reservoir and the new, Yume and her fox companion set to digging a path that would ease the labor required to integrate the new source with the existing system. If the find was indeed safe for consumption then it would be easy enough for an engineer to come out with cement and proper filtration for proper integration. Once the job was done, she again takes up position at the pools edge and begins to meditate. After a few moments she would descend into a hypnotic trance similar to what one would feel when lucid dreaming. Tendrils of chakra would wind their way into the water, seeking out contaminates and destroying them. Due to the organic nature of the bacteria, all Yume had to do was confine it to a cubic decimeter and then enclose it in another 1L container. Placing both volumes into her knapsack, the woman would stand and gaze on the now crystalline waters. There were many tests to be done before the fluid would be ready for use and many questions to be asked. Was the bacteria naturally occurring or was it introduced by other factors? Was there sewage seeping through the bedrock? Engineers would need to determine if the reservoir would refill itself or else the source would have limited use and may not be worth the work required. Satisfied with her finds, the shinobi begins her journey home to report her findings.
