Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Meeting up with some of the other interviewers Kamaru spaced out it seemed slightly between skimming over reports or verbal quick briefings of their findings as he listened keeping his own talking to a minimum. In truth he just felt the burden of being tired. Long hours of interviews and discussions with not a lot really coming out of it was part of the investigation though but it was making Kamaru wonder if they’d get anything out of it. No specific situation occurred or no specifically obvious person coming in with a smoking box that was the possible bomb. With no one description of a person or persons sticking out it didn’t give them a lead but it did tell them something at least. It was not an amateur job or accidental to Kamaru through his line of thinking. This was the work of someone who did this kind of thing before and it showed, he slipped in and out without creating any suspicion and with that showed ninjas weren’t the only one out there monopolizing hiding in plain sight.

From the passerbys and the survivors they did get a collaborative fact they hadn’t had before, there were two quick sounds of explosions not one. The specialists confirmed it was likely from multiple sources or a multi staged attack of some sort by the structural damage. It made more sense in a morbid way to have a smaller amount as the trigger to a larger set up, it’d be easier to talk in to plant to set off once outside. The pads of Kamaru’s fingers rubbed his forehead and he tried to massage the reason out of his brain. It didn’t seem to help much.

The only thing that really bugged Kamaru was one of the reports about an employee that had survived getting knocked around behind the counter in the explosion. The owner was in which was odd since he was only in on days he placed orders or when an order was coming in. This was neither of those days and between the employee and several other people someone did drop off a delivery. No package was seen but some did remember seeing him talking with the owner at the table before he left. No one seemed to get a good look at the persons face leading Kamaru to think it was indeed a professional mercenary that lead to the destruction of the building and several injured civilians. It nagged at Kamaru since it was the only abnormality really. Why come in on a day you wouldn’t? What caused the change to the schedule? Was the owner a target of a failed assassination? Foolish to think since if the guy was good enough to plant a trigger and get out without much notice or people being able to identify him he should have the chops to take out the man even with a bomb easily without injuring others possibly. With the building wrecked Kamaru withed the owner wasn’t still in a coma. There were too many questions that wouldn’t be answered without him conscious.
