Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Chapter One: true pain

The young boy was staring up at the bunk bed above him, silently in the dark and very alone. Most of the other kids at the academy went home for the weekend, but he had nowhere to go, no one to see. That pinch in the deep part of the heart was the warning of what was slowly rising beneath the surface. Hakaisha got up from his bed, still wearing the same ragged clothes from the long day and got out of the room. He didn't want anyone to see him, he met no one's gaze on his way out of the quarters. A cool breeze greeted him as he stepped out the door to the chill night outside, and then he just started walking towards a cave system he found not far. A mist started filling up his sight, he whipped it off with his sleeve but it just came back again. He entered the crystal cave witch was glistening with light, it didn't help the feeling inside. His eyes began to drizzle even though he fought hard to keep it in, he couldn't it was too damn hard.

"why?...*sniff* why did they take you away mom? *wimper*...."

He fell to his knees, loosing control and slowly breaking down. He stared at his reflection in a glowing red crystal, his eyes full of anger, full of hate, the face of true pain looked back at him, he felt weak and with all his power he knew not how to save his parents, he lacked the control to save them and for that he was cursed by loosing everything.

"why?...*sniff* *sniff*"

The tears were flowing in the reflection.

"WHHHHYYYYYYY!!!!!"

A shattering explosion sent crystal shards flying in a flurry of light, and then there was less light in the cave and less hope in his heart. Suddenly something rested on his shoulder. A hand.
It felt familiar, he quickly turned his had with a small smile of joy.

"mom?!"

He gasped, and his smile was instantly extinguished and he burst into tears again and he fell into a deeper despair.

"I...I'm sorry Master *sob*..."

He muttered silently, Rounin Nao took a knee and lifted the boys face with his hand to look him in the eyes.

"don't be my young apprentice... don't hide from your true feelings, they will give you strength in the end"

Said his master with his usual demeanour, for one how didn't know Nao it would seem as if he doesn't care, but Hakaisha had learned that if Nao wouldn't have cared he wouldn't have been there for him in the first place.

"you have power within we will unlock, so you will not have to feel this way again, that when the time comes you will destroy those who'd do harm to your loved ones..."

Said the voice, and the boy started to feel warmer and calmer. Hakai knew that his master was a great Genjutsu master from their training but he didn't think he put him under an illusion, the boy somehow knew that Nao's words made him feel better, stronger.
The tears stopped and he whipped their trail off and stood up to face his Master with a clearer gaze.

"what is your bidding my Master..."

Said Hakaisha with a colder voice, ready for his teacher's words of guidance and his orders.

Chapter Two: A simple task in a difficult time

A few hours have passed since Nao found the boy crying in the cave, he thought he would feel angry with him but he wasn't. He just wanted to make him better, so he will not suffer the way he himself had for years. They set off into the mines on yet another request of Nao's younger brother Satsu to investigate a drug trafficking ring deep under the surface. Apparently a local crime group found a compound in the mines that serves as a hallucinogenic drug, and they were open for busyness.

"remember what I have taught you young one, you hold a powerful chakra type, and today we will observe how well you have learned to use it..."

Said Nao calmly, the boy who walked beside him gave a small nod of agreement. they came to a stop at a gated entrance guarded by two armed men.

"who go's there!?"

Said one of the two.

"remember... use you hate, use your anger"

Whispered Nao in the boy's ear and stepped back, Hakaisha on the other hand started taking off the linen wrappings around his palms, revealing the two spiritual markings on them. They didn't stand a chance, the boy had created a crimson form of pure energy in the shape of a ball and detonated it on the guards with ease and with no hesitation. Considering this was the only inherit technique he had managed to help the boy discover so far it was preformed brilliantly. The boy pressed on into the gangs hideout and screams could be heard around the bend. Nao walked slowly inside, stepping over some charcoal remains and some deformed and unattached limbs, it still had some tuning to work out but over all the results were pleasing enough.
Nao entered a large room where it seemed that the workers were in the middle of dining when his young student gave an entrance, there was little left of dinner.
Hakaisha was kneeling in the centre of the room, panting with exertion.

"good job my young learner, you are becoming stronger every day"

Said Nao with a small smile of demented pride.

"thank you Master"

Replied the boy and stood up.

well we should clear out the ne...

A sudden quake and rumble interrupted Nao's words, both him and the boy were now looking suspiciously at the long torch lit hallway leading into the deep mines and it wasn't long after when they heard distant screams of great agony echoing from afar.

Chapter Three: Through hell fire and terror

The boy kept his master's quick pace, it was fifteen minutes ago when the earth quake was heard and they were rushing to investigate its source but Hakai had a feeling that it was not going to be a pleasant sight that awaited them below. A short while had passed and the two were standing in a gigantic hall with old pillars as far as the eye could see and from a short distance they could see a burning pit of intense fire decorating the centre of what seemed to be the dig sight of the miners.

"what happened here?"

Asked the boy quietly as if not to disturb the morbid silence that hunted the hall.

"I feel that we are about to find out"

Said his Master intensely and stopped suddenly. As if to answer Hakaisha's question, a horrifying roar that sounded like a blast of fire and the scream of an enraged creature came from the lit pit. Then he saw it, first wings and then a massive body, a head with demonic horns and all engulfed in flames as hot as the sun and the skin under it black as the death it caused.

"wha..?"

Gasped the boy at the sight of the nightmarish creature and stumbled back, his Master on the other hand took a step in front of him. It seemed that Nao knew that the boy won't stand a chance against the beast, but Hakai wanted to empress his teacher. He got up and rushed pass Nao.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING BOY?!?!"

Yelled Nao in anger and a hint of concern. The boy knew he made him mad but he wanted him to be proud of him, to know that his training was more then he expected. The markings on Hakai's hands glowed crimson once more and a massive explosive orb went flying at the hell creature, A gigantic explosion shattered some of the near by pillars and a small part of the roof collapsed. The creature was lost in the massive dust cloud, no sound was heard and on the boy's face a smile slowly grew as he turned to face his master.

"I AM stronger now Master!, you have taught m..."

A terrifying scream of fiery anger bursted from behind him, his head turned to see the face of impending doom glaring back at him.

Chapter Four: Servant of Hell fire.

Nao saw the boy fly through the air and hit the floor on the far side, by now he had realised that the miners have awaken what he thought was just an old myth... A Balrog. A demon that many would tell came from hell itself with the soul purpose of death to all that stand in his way. Nao was running towards the limp form of his apprentice but the demon was on the same path. Nao didn't know if this will work but he had to try. The seal on his chest rapidly morphed to its final stage and engulfed Nao's body in black smoke.

"YOU WILL NOT HARM THIS BOY!!!"

Nao stood in front of the creature and flashed hand seals, he knew that little phisical attacks will harm the beast but it still had a mind and it can be harmed. The creature suddenly stopped writhing in pain swinging its claws all over. Another set of hand seals.

"YOU WILL STAND DOWN DEVIL!!! YOU WILL BOW TO ME!!!"

Screamed Nao in demented rage, as the creature fell to its knees and howled in pain and rage.

"IF YOU WISH NOT TO BE DESTROYED YOU WILL OBEY MY COMMAND CREATURE!!!"

Raged Nao once more, and then turned and pointed at the young boy, who's life force was slipping away.

"YOU WILL SAVE HIM!!!!"

He stepped towards to creature in pain

"YOU WILL GIVE HIM YOUR POWER!!!!"

Nao now stood at his face.

"YOU WILL GIVE HIM YOUR LIFE!!!"

A roar, a flash of red light and the creature vanished... no.. not vanished Nao looked at the boy, and smiled.
