Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Walking up the roundabout in front of the three story manor caught the eye as grand, the fountain in the middle depicted fish spitting water into the basic below. Several parked carriages lined the outside of the path of the roundabout, servants or drivers waited and chatted bunched together into small groups. Leading up to the manor was a wide path, a large front patio with plants displayed a depictions of someone well off and financially secure the sounds of a party behind the house became more easily heard the closer one got to the house with each step, the lights from behind seemed more noticeable as well and would make most raise an eyebrow. They were pink lights moving about. A large man stood by the front door, he would have looked like a rough bodyguard or doorman type if he didn’t have on a brown furry body suit and facial paint to look like a teddy bear. Considering the look on the man’s face it looked like he’d have preferred to be getting stabbed by someone then his current assignment. Job was a job though. And after he was off duty no one would blame him if he looked for copious amounts of alcohol to forget his current shame and job.

As Gen Ryu got close the man seemed to be a bit out of it.

”Name? Reason for being here? Are you a guest, help, or part of the entertainment?” he stated almost mechanically probably having said it several times already for the party.

Gen Ryu came with three of her subjects; Tavi, Shikora and Shino. She was unsure what her employer was looking for so she brought a selection to choose from. She answered the man’s questions like it was from an Anbu with quick straight answers. “Gen Ryu. Horse trainer. Entertainment.” Gen Ryu herself was not a chose for the employer to pick. Should would be there to make sure no one harms her little ponies. “Now I would like to see my employer. He was… unclear with his request. I have brought multiple ponies for him to choose from.” She wonders which one he will pick or maybe he’ll take all three. It would cost a little bit more, but she will cut him a discount for renting in bulk.

[sorry for the lateness working 7 days a week is hectic.]

The man nodded and grunted affirmation looking at Gen Ryu and the three with her before speaking, ”Head inside go straight between the stairs leading up.” he started to explain opening the door. The sounds of music from behind the house becoming more clear and amplified with the simple act. ”Take the first hallway on the right and it’ll be the only double door entrance in the hall. He will most likely be in there… drinking.” the doorman explained. Waiting for Gen Ryu and party to start to move in, once in motion he’d give her an odd goodbye by saying ”Good luck…” while shaking his head. Once inside the door behind them would close and the sounds of a party could be heard not far away. The sounds of dishes and such could be heard off away from the four to their left in front of them, the party somewhere closer but muffled from being outside. Gen Ryu and company found themselves in a sparse but tastefully decorated foyer leading upstairs on the left and the right sides of the room, side rooms and the aforementioned hallway straight back leading towards the employer.

(OoC: Let me know if there’s any other details you’d like to know about, options are to go to the employer direct or snoop around for a bit first...maybe both?)

Re: Party's not a Party if the Pony ain't Pink [D-Rank Modde

The fact that the father would be drinking did not sit well with Ryu. What kind of parent drinks at a time like this; it’s his daughter’s birthday for crying out loud. Likely this means he will not be participating in the celebration. She hated how such wealthy members of society neglected their children of much needed attention. Her own daughter maybe nothing more than a self-created delusion, but even she would treat her better than that. This is no way to raise a child by only showing affection through gifts; love is not something you can wrap in a pretty little box. Or the man could do even worst by showing up drunk and completely embarrassing the child in front of her friends and scarring her for life. Ryu eyes narrowed to a glare, “I’m going to have some choice words with this employer.” She walks into the building with anger resounding in each hoofstep.

The white unicorn smile from ear to ear, “Sweet, a party and a show this is going to be good.” Shino knows what Ryu is like when she is in a mood. Lightening was going to fly and it would be quite entertaining to see the rich man shocked in the butt. Shino was always one to attack first and ask questions later; to hell with the consequences, if this teaches the man a lesion then it was all worth it. As she passes by into the build the doorman could hear the beat of her music emanating from her headset. With the music being so loud it was amazing that she could hear anything going on around her.

However, not all agreed with her views. The regular pony was concerned that her master may be about to get her in some deep trouble. Tavi wondered if Shino was blind under those shades for she could never seem to be able to see the big picture. Attacking the employer would not just ruin the mission, but will have serious consequences on Ryu. She could be thrown in jail for assault or worse killed by the man’s hired staff. “Mistress please, perhaps we should wait in the foyer before we meet the employer. We don’t want to risk failing the mission.” Tavi considered herself a proper mare with educate and grace. She always wanted to life in a place like this and just standing in the foyer was like a dream come true.

Shikora had a shamanistic point of view and cared little of earthy things. Such avarice and greed only lead to self-destruction. However she is not one to press her beliefs on to others. She lets people do as they please for it is there life to live. Ryu on the other hand is there leader, which means there are times she must impart her wisdom in order to influence Ryu down the right path. Shikora like Tavi knows that giving into anger will only cause problems and thus she tells Ryu,
I fear she is right
We came here to entertain
You must calm yourself
The zebra’s words may be hard to understand said it such a poetic form, but Ryu does believe she is right. Ryu takes and deep breath; in through the nose and out the mouth. Her trots became softer, but still echoed through the halls. Ryu and the group walk up the stairs, and takes a right and opens the first set of double doors she sees.

Re: Party's not a Party if the Pony ain't Pink [D-Rank Modde

The group moved into the house and the focus of where hooves would be or placed in the immediate future seemed to transition through several ideas some violent and/or creative in nature. Moving through the house is sparsely decorated surprising for a such a bit house, oddly enough the main decoration or themed seemed to be pictures and paintings of the family. Some looked like one of a young couple or both together, a young lady seeming to know more than the photos or paintings would let you know and a wild, slightly goofy looking young man always smiling.

Moving through the house one could see the couple grow older in their placements and the addition of a young baby girl. The opening of the double doors reviewed a study. In one corner there was a desk with several shelves of ledgers and books. Tonight the work seemed to be put away as the room’s owner staring at a painting on the wall of a small child being cradled in someone’s arms. The group got a man looking up from a drink and looking away from the painting on the wall before he went back to looking at it.

With a heavy sigh he replied sullenly, ”I guess you’re the horse trainer? Hope you have a pink pony…” he commented seeming to focus back on the painting.
Before anyone could say anything else a surprisingly loud roar of a small girl could be heard from outback over the crowd.

”WHERE IS MY PONY!!!!!!” someone roared in pintsized rage it seemed.

The man slowly craned his neck towards the window and back to the painting and held his face in his free hand. ”Where’d I go wrong…” he seemed to mutter to himself.

Re: Party's not a Party if the Pony ain't Pink [D-Rank Modde

Now that’s details she could have used before coming. It was no wonder why she was hired for this job for only she could be able to provide a pony of such interesting fur. As the man could see from Shino’s bright blue mane, color was not a problem. Though these three ponies she had with her now will not do at all. “No but that can be arranged.” Ryu stomps a hoof on the ground and in an instant the three equines were gone and in its place was a pink pony with a mane like cotton candy. There was a yell coming from outside; seems like the little princess is an impatient one. Ryu nods to the pink pony and the oddly colored mare ran out the door and towards the party outside.

Pinku the pink pony bursts into the scene down below. “Someone called for a pony?!” She yells cheerfully. Pinku loved parties for she is very empathic. When people around her are happy she is happy, when people around her are down she is down. Being that she was just what the girl asked for she expected to be very happy. However who knows what reactions she will get about being a talking pony. Humans are unpredictable that way.

“Parenthood isn’t easy trust me I know. I’m a single parent.” Ryu walks over and looks out the window to see how Pinku was doing. Ryu decided that the man could use some guidance. Perhaps she could do more than just entertain his daughter. She had to wonder what happened to the mother of the child. It’s strange that the man of the house would be in charge of planning and preparing such a party. Normally it’s the lady of the house hold that takes charge over such events. “Perhaps she could use some structure. Have you considered enrolling her into the academy? I’ve enrolled my own daughter Nina there and she is turning out quite nicely.”

Re: Party's not a Party if the Pony ain't Pink [D-Rank Modde

While outside Pinku let herself be seen and heard. Her reaction might turn to surprise having a fifty pound bolo in the form of a child latching onto her neck and spinning around her neck before landing and landing before hoppig about.

”It’s a real PONY! It’s really really real! Here money you hold this cus you’re old and can’t ride on ponies cus you weigh to much.” the young girl squealed before picking up a costume sceptor on the ground and handing it to a young lady before bouncing back to the pony.

Pinku would be surprised to see the small girl in a princess costume with a tiara in her hair, plus they matched, except Pinku didn’t have as many frilly decorations all over her outfit while the young girl did, all in pink. A small crystal slippered foot foot junted up towards the Pony’s back as the young girl’s tongue out in concentration before it started to shake. As a few of the other kids moved up to try and help her she snarled and snapped her teeth, MINE! I get the first ride! NO!” with her hair slightly in disarray she muttered that the pony was a horse maybe cus she was so tall to ride. Getting an idea she started to swing her arms a short distance from Pinku thinking she’s got the hang of it.

Meanwhile inside the father sighed to the remarks, ”Parenting is usually easy, it’s the crushing feeling that you did, or are doing something wrong that slowly grind your soul to dust…” he remarked, ”We’ve tried talking to her, spending time with her, counselors, specialists, attempting to get children her age to be friends and play with her,we’ve even had some people paided to act as children around her, but that didn’t work either. She doesn’t know what she wants really most of the time and when she does she wants it immediately. She can’t explain what she wants at times and gets frustrated. It’s probably bad to say but some people think our daughter’s a bundle of joy and energy, most of the time we see a small bundle of rage unsure why she’s angry that lashed out at most things she doesn’t understand and even people trying to help her. I just want her to be happy.” he explained coming to the window.

Stroking his thick moustache he seemed to pout a bit as he muttered to himself pouting slightly before saying mimicking a young girls voice, ”Papa has to stay in the library cus he has a scary caterpillar on his face...during the party…”

(OoC: Pinku realizes the girl has no idea on how to get on a pony or horse and is possibly just going to run into her side head first and hope she magically get’s on. The father seems to want to do right by his child but seems out of ideas. He's also on the verge of tears since his daughter seems to be a sniper with insults. Gen Ryu gets the tail end of the scene outside of the small girl throwing her sceptor at a lady and trying to head Pinku in the side possibly to get on)

Re: Party's not a Party if the Pony ain't Pink [D-Rank Modde

[sorry forgot about this one]

Pinku giggles in enjoyment for the birthday girl seemed completely ecstatic about her appearance. “Of coarse I’m real and just the color you asked for.”</COLOR><i></i> Pinku saw that the girl was having trouble getting on, which is not surprising. Not many people know how to properly get on a horse and her age it’s even less likely. Pinku raise her front hooves off the ground and stomps them on the dirt. A small wall of stone emerges out of the ground next to Pinku. The barrier was the size of a stepstool and would easily help the little princess onto her steed. “You can use that to get on.”<i></i>

Ryu was trying to get an idea what was going on with the girl. It’s too early to say they’ve done wrong. She can still be taught better behavior. The man makes it sound like she has some sort of mental disorder, but likely the counselors and specialists would see that. It is most likely the kid is spoiled and the parents just give in to her demands. Ryu wonders what would happen if the child asks for something impossible or something you just would not give to a child. How long would she hold a tantrum? <COLOR color="#0000FF">“What age is your daughter? And these specialists came up with nothing to help you?”

Re: Party's not a Party if the Pony ain't Pink [D-Rank Modde

[OoC: I was a bit late in a response so no worries]

The young girl’s eyes lit up from the sudden ‘magic’ and the girl along with the ground let out several “ooo’s” and “aah’s”. Bounding up the step up she got on a little tentatively and seemed to go silent again. Since she hadn’t been on a horse before let alone a talking one she seemed a bit out of sorts on what to do next.

”Uh... go horsey.” she said finally not really knowing what to do and pointed in a direction. Not really knowing how to stir she shifted her upper body and weight forward from on Pinku’s back and extended her arms in the direction she had pointed.

”It’s her eighth birthday, she probably doesn’t remember more than the last three or four though.” he said oddly smiling his eyes lighting up slightly as the memories came back. ”That look of wonder and awe… pure joy…” he commented before answering the second part of the question. ”As for specialists… she’s mostly fine, a slight overweight but I’m not worried about it considering how much she runs around. Once, she tried to make a glider and jumped out one of the top story windows of the house when we were living at our old place… She was out the window and in the bushes before I could even catch her.” he explained holding his arm and going silent for a moment, ”She ended up being fine although she had me scared for a bit, I’m not worried about her in that response really she heals just as quickly as most kids I guess. She supposedly has trouble focusing on things and has an issue with authority from what they thought, all the specialist. She doesn’t do anything necessarily overly bad and she’ll focus on things she’s interested in. For the most part… she’s just a kid I figure. She had things provided for her and we’re there for her, but she always seems angry about something possibly and doesn’t seem to be able to explain what it is and even the specialist can’t get her to talk about it. She’s not always nice, or right, but she isn’t always wrong. She is my little girl though… and most of the time, with all my wealth I still feel I just as helpless to relate or help her as the day she jumped out that window.”
