Perfect (Open)

[Sukuna Kiyo]

Today was a perfect day, the wind blowing, the air was warm, and the summers sun beat down into the forest. It was a mixture of hot and cool, in the shade it was nice, but in the sunny areas, it was hot. That never stopped the creatures, and Shinobi from being out in the forest though.

Today was Akumi's training day, she had to continuously practice her art in order to stay in shape. She put up her black silky hair into a half ponytail, though it was literally halved vertically. So one side her hair was up while the other was down. Unusual yes, but she liked it, it was better than shaving half her head for a similar look. After she did her hair, she put in her stud earrings and her headbands.Her leaf headband was placed on top of her head, while her Iwagakure band was on her left arm. Her netting shirt would keep her cool while working with explosives, despite the indecency, and her shorts were perfect for running. The last few things were her brand new chuunin vest, her shoes, and then her pouches full of clay, and some other ninja items.

Soon enough it was time to go, she left her house, and made her way to the forest. She hardly saw her brother around, he must have been off on a mission, hopefully, he will have heard that she made chuunin. Also that she blew up a huge building, taking out several baddies. It was picture perfect, she did it all next to her comrade, Yoruko. His unique Sharingan eyes and his power made her want to see him in battle more. He was all over beautiful to her. She'd fight him to see it again.

After arriving in the forest, AKumi set up a perimeter with warning tags. "Explosions in practice." They were easy to spot yellow, AKumi knew any idiot would see them and get the hint. She didn't want to accidentally blow off any one's limbs.

Akumi then got into a perfect spot and started preparing her clay. She took it in the palm of her mouths and started chewing her explosive chakra into it. Banzai Bomber was the Jutsu she was gonna use. After sculpting the clay, she tossed it up and made the proper hand seals to bring it to life. The creature she made was giant and shook the ground when it landed. It was a giant elephant, and it seemed 30x her size, though she was already a tiny mouse.

With ease, Akumi jumped on top of the beast and rode it like any one of her other clay mounts. This clay elephant was a bomb factory, and she wanted to make many bombs using it. Right away, akumi had it shooting out egg shaped clay bombs at a tree, once getting close enough she would denotate them with a simple hand seal. "Katsu!!" she shouted to make the bombs explode. The explosions were loud and could be heard from far away.

 

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Hoshi and Mizu, his otter marine mammal companion were training in the forest going fist to fist. During their training session a loud explosion sounded, rattle the floor beneath them and even swayed the weaker oak trees of the forest. The immense amount of chakra surprised the hyuuga boy and the otter ninja. They stopped mid fight after swinging their last attempt and countering each other. Their heads would cock turn the direction of the sound. There were no words, just once glance at each other and a nod, the two took off.

The two dashed through the forest, via tree tops from one branch to the other. They looked at each other from the corner of their eyes. Mizu nodded once more, these two seemed to talk telepathically, but that wasn't it. They knew each other so well it was almost like they could read each other's thoughts without having to say it. They came to a halt, Shouyu flexed his eyes revealing the Byakugan to be active, now picking up on the many chakra signatures of nature life and... a Giant elephant? Hoshi looked over to Mizu, with his left hand he signaled the sight of two people, one small and one large.

The same time, Mizu held up a sign, reading, "Explosions in practice." Hoshi then nodded, followed by Mizu's request to stand by and watch again. Hoshi would leap from the floor, with Mizu behind him to a tall tree at its pinnacle. From this height, they could see what appeared to be a woman, and giant elephant shooting eggs. The woman inched closer, Shouyu then saw a high fluctuation of chakra begin with a solid, "Katsu!!" This lead to an explosion which Mizu and Hoshi had to brace for by clasping onto the tree. Shouyu thought to himself once he recollected himself. 'Hmm, she's detonating the bombs with chakra. No, the bombs are made up of her chakra. But, she can detonate them whenever she likes. Clever.' Each Konoha shinobi proved to be more intriguing than the next. Hoshi thought to himself if he was an adequate ninja. Mizu must have saw this and chucked an acorn at his head, getting the boy's attention again.

Mizu pointed down at them, as if asking to engage the girl and her elephant. Hoshi looked down, she seemed quite busy. But, he did want to learn about the secrets of her art. He grinned, looked over to Mizu once more and nodded. The two would acrobatically leap from the highest point entering the explosive fray with twists and flips and a sharp introduction. If Akumi were to target another tree with a clay bomb, the dynamic duo would launch several shuriken just above the bomb to announce their entrance. Once landing, the two would descend to one knee and bow to the Kuniochi introducing themselves, Mizu first with her soft yet strong voice.

Mizu: "Mizu, contract warrior of the Marine Mammals."

Hoshi: "Hoshi Shouyu, shinobi of Kumogakure. Sorry for the intrusion. We were just admiring your art from afar."

 

[Sukuna Kiyo]

Akumi was standing on top of her above-average sized clay elephant, quick content, and happily enjoying her own show. Something about the heat from the explosions brought her great passion. Here art was getting better every day. She was so focused on her art, she did not notice a ninja, and his contract partner had come into her explosion area. The dust didn't help either, and she didn't expect anyone to come into her practice area, with all the warnings she put up.

The 14-year-old girl put her hands into a hand seal, making her giant mammal shoot out another egg, but she blinked as shuriken pierced it, much like a type of slime, the shuriken sunk into the clay as it splattered on the ground. The egg was now a pile of ooze, still explosive, but her art, it was splattered on the ground. Why? Who would do such a thing?? The culprits soon showed themselves, a blue otter, and another child. Mizu, and Hoshi, from the village hidden in the clouds.

On the elephant, her smallness probably was not realized. Since the elephant was four times the size of any regular elephant. Akumi glared at them for a moment, then used the elephant's trunk as a slide to come down. She marched right over to the boy with a frown. She stood at 4'6'', so there was an obvious difference in height between the two.

After Akumi approached him, she pointed at her splattered egg. "That was a perfectly good piece of art, a perfect egg shape, and you two destroyed it!!" She exclaimed loudly, then she placed her hand into the Ram hand seal. "Katsu!!" She shouted, then the ooze exploded, leaving a small hole where it once was. The shuriken inside probably got blasted outwards or incinerated. Who knows.

Akumi sighed, then she looked at Hoshi again. "You may be cute but that doesn't mean I am going to accept your apology!" She stated then she crossed her arms. She took a moment before speaking again.

"I am Yumoto Akumi, Konoha chuunin. Formerly from Iwagakure." She introduced herself, she was still mad, but she let out most of her steam already with the confrontation and the explosion. Now she was just curious about this Shinobi, and his Warrior of the marine mammals. She looked at Mizu with curiosity, he was so cute, it was hard for her not to pet him, or squeal over his cuteness.

 

[Shouyu Hoshi]

The two hadn't noticed that their shuriken actually pierced her chakra formed explosive egg for they had their heads down bowing. Once the kunoichi addressed rather distraught about their actions they would finally rise to see her. She was a bit taller than Mizu by a few inches but almost half a foot shorter than Shouyu. He looked away slightly embarrassed. Before Mizu could respond to apologize Akuma had detonated the bomb again, allowing Hoshi a quick deduction. Even if her bombs to splatter, she could still detonate it, he took note of this before clearing his throat but Mizu beat him to the punch.

Mizu: "Please forgive the boy. He's a bit shy at first. I'll apologize for us both, we had no intent in ruining your display. In fact, I'm sure he wanted to ask you to join in, right Hoshi?"

Hoshi: *coughs* "Well yeah... how about trying that on a moving target?!"

The kid would grin and point to himself with his thumb. But Akumi would only sigh, and although complimenting which made startled Hoshi as he stepped back, she stated she wouldn't so easily forgive him. But maybe his proposal to help her training would change her mind. Akumi crossed her arms and Hoshi's head fell down in sorrow, shoulders and even his back slumped over as a pale blue depression colored his cheeks.

Akumi introduced herself as a chuunin who previously hailed from Iwagakure, like Sara. Immediately he straightened up with a normal face, his eyes fixated on Akumi looking her up and down. He then looked away and rubbed his chin lightly. Again, he has heard from the mouths of others, and even Shinobi who represented the village. He looked back at Akumi, he noticed the Konoha headband across her forehead, he looked down slightly, on her arm bore the symbol of Iwagakure. His mouth was opening when Mizu punched him.

Mizu: "Stop staring you fool!"

Hoshi stumbled and looked over you Mizu with sharp eyes.

Hoshi: "Hey! Don't make me-!"

Hoshi walked up with a fist raised trembling staring Mizu down who did the same. The two were in a deadlock staring contest for maybe 30 seconds before each would retreat and recollect themselves calmly. Hoshi exhaled deeply, his shoulders rising and falling with his breath.

Hoshi: "Shortly before my leave from home... I met with a Shinobi named Sara who also was from Iwagakure. It seems they uphold many credible ninjas from there."

His pale white eyes went to search the sky. The sun was beaming, it was actually, hot to him. He felt a stickiness on his face, sweat? He wiped it away with his hands. Again he spoke.

Hoshi: "So, can you explain to me how your technique works?"

 

[Rakujo Yumeko]

Ritsuko had made her way throughout the village and had eventually ended up on a path in the forest. The young girl's hair was done up in a bit of a bun and had a ribbon of some sort to tie it up. Her clothing was a simple white shirt with a bow around the collar, and a dark grey skirt. Her reason for being out of the house rather than doing things for her work for the Academy, she was initially out for an errand for her parents though she had done it soon after so she had some time that she wanted to go throughout the village for a bit.

She had made her way through the way through the forest and had quickly made her way to a notice that stated that explosions were going on. However, it was someone shouting off in the distance that had caught her attention with an explosion quickly heading in the direction that both the shouting and the explosion had come from. As she had reached the scene, she had found several figures that one of them she had remembered, but the others were unknown to her. She hadn't actually heard anything that they had said as she had gotten there much too slow. "Oh, Hi Akumi! I didn't expect to find you here! I heard some shouting and an explosion from this direction." She'd state a bit excitedly but soon tilted her head as she looked at the guy and the... thing that seemingly was with him. There was an elephant but that somehow didn't catch her attention right now. "Is he a friend of yours? And what is that with him?" She'd asked, in a whispered voice after moving closer to her. He might have heard her as she wasn't exactly too quiet with it.

Akumi was enticed by his offer, a moving target? She would have to think about it. She looked at the boy's eyes and knew he was a Dou Jutsu user, the pale eyes of a Hyuuga. So beautiful, but not as lovely as the purple Sharingan she had seen before. Still, it was something she loved seeing and was quite envious of. The eyes were the portals to the soul, as some would say. Dou Jutsu just was so much better than normal eyes to her though.

She nodded to Mizu after he spoke, he was obviously confident. Time would tell if his confidence matched his skills though, she was still pondering on Hoshi's offer. Though if she were to injure him, it would be bad for her, but a simple spare wouldn't hurt.

Being an artist, Akumi did notice even the slightest details in her surroundings, so it wasn't had to tell Hoshi was staring at her after her introduction. "I honestly don't mind cute guys staring at me." She stated and shrugged. But Mizu confronted Hoshi, and they seemed to get annoyed at each other, and it looked like they may get into a fight. It didn't take long for them to straighten out. Akumi giggled at their silliness a bit, it wasn't every day she spotted a duo like this.

"I'll take you up on your offer Hoshi, training with a target would be better. Though make sure to make it a challenge, I'll be even madder if you end up passing out from just a few of my blasts." Akumi stated with a grin. She actually wouldn't mind sticking a bomb on his back, but she would never admit that out loud.

Before Akumi could hop up on her Elephant again, a familiar voice called out. It was Ritsuko, an academy student she had met in the village. "Oh Hello Ritsuko! I can say the same for you as well." She stated, referring to seeing her here in the forest. "This cutie here is Hoshi, and the cute Otter is Mizu, a marine contract." AKumi explained with a grin, "I just met them, they destroyed some of my art, but Hoshi here offered for me to put a target on his back and try to blast him out of the sky." She said, though she was being over dramatic.

"You are welcome to join us, You can ride from the safety of my elephant, or I don't know." Akumi said to Ritsuko, though she hoped to show the young girl the beauty of explosions, and of course her living sculptures. Academy students were the future of the village, after all, the younger that better.

 

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Hoshi was poised until the mentioning of being called cute by Akumi. A light pink tint flushed his cheeks and around his nose as his eye brow twitched, he looked away with his nose up. As much he tried to shake it off it was hard to resist being shy and flustered, at this time he just wanted to get to training already.

After wrestling with Mizu for a bit Akumi wholeheartedly agreed and the once distressed Shouyu was lit like a candle. He smirked and rose a fist as so did Mizu matching symmetrically. Hoshi only chuckled at her smart remark and flicked the side of his nose confidently. He couldn't quite gauge her skill set from afar, and he could only hope he wasn't in way over his head. But fear or any sense of insecurity is what Hoshi trained himself to never reveal. Though he had these thoughts, outwardly anyone see a focused soul.

"Right Akumi! Mizu and I will make sure to give you a decent training session. I guess I should start in high ge-"

Hoshi looked over to a distant voice calling for Akumi. Another girl, she inquired Hoshi and Mizu, these two looked at each other, then back at her. Akumi introduced them, once again calling Hoshi cute, his shoulders would tremble and the light tint reappearing. Again Hoshi looked away trying to keep composure. Mizu on the other hand embraced his compliment and began to stroke the thick coat of few on his chin forming a small goatee. Akumi offered her a seat on her elephant and to join in, Hoshi and Mizu nodded at the opportunity.

"Yes, please! Join us! The more the merrier! Heh."

Hoshi flicked the side of his nose again, raising a fist at Mizu who would do the same and bump fists, right after open their hands like an explosion with their own audio sound effects imitating a firework. The two chuckled at each other and looked at the kunoichi from leaf again ready to start.

 

[Keigo Oen]

Sitting on high, the idea of the little sister doing such things with others. Fighting and such. He was proud. Feeling bad that he
d been so caught up in other things for a long time he would keep a close eye on her with every free moment he had. He knew she was a Chuunin now. He'd yet to congratulate her, but that would soon come. He just needed time to acclimate himself to society. Spending alot of time trying to figure himself out. His new abilities.He had to spar with her one day to see what she really had deep within her. Though, now was not the time for such things, he would sit on high... on a ridge not far from their position but close enough that they could feel the strength of his chakra close by. Tamashii wasnt one for bragging though he was one to show who he was...

"Hm... This is quite the right spot to be in." Nodding to himself as he'd munch on a piece of sweet bread and sip on his Banana juice. Something that he'd been using to help open up his chakras. Something that would help his body be intune with the world around him. Explosions... his sister was like him. Explosive in their chakra... but he wanted to harness her power to be better... even stronger than his. Maybe she was already there but he wanted to test it out for himself... Who knew what he would find.

 

[Rakujo Yumeko]

As Ritsuko had stood there after speaking to Akumi, the girl would respond to her, saying that the boy was called Hoshi and the otter was Mizu, that they were both cute and the otter was a Marine Contract. She'd blink a few times as she hadn't gotten far enough in the academy or anything to know what a contract was and all. She continued to listen to her as she stated that she had just met them and that they had destroyed some of her 'art' and that Hoshi had offered to put a target on his back and blast him out of the sky. She'd then offer to let her ride from the safety of the elephant or something. She didn't entirely know exactly what was going to happen, but she had gone and tried to climb up on the elephant, but it'd take her a few attempts to actually get on it.

The boy had soon told her the please join them, and she'd watch Akumi along with the boy and the Marine Contract that accompanied him. She was really curious as to what was going to happen and was somewhat excited to see, with if slightly showing even though she was trying to contain it. "I'm rooting for you, Akumi!" She'd said, as she thought it was a spar rather than anything else. She was still quite curious as to what Akumi meant by 'art' but she could either ask afterwards or even just learn by watching.

Akumi was happy Hoshi allowed Ritsuko to join them, though he really did not have a choice. Akumi would have her stick around as long as the girl wanted. Once Ritsuko climbed onto the oversized elephant, Akumi would use its trunk to lift her up, she seemed to be able to command it without saying a word. Maybe it was physic? it was more like her just commanding her chakra that stood outside her body.

Akumi looked back at Ritsuko and smiled, Hopefully, she would be safe there. "Alright, lets get started!" she stated loudly, she put her hands into her pouches, although the elephant could shoot bombs out, she wanted to put on a show for her little friend here. Once her hands were in her pouches she pulled out some clay, her mouths on her palms took the clay in and began to chew. It did take a moment before she was sculpting her clay.

Akumi paused for a moment as she sensed a new chakra come into the area. She wasn't entirely sure, she felt like it was her brother. It made her grin, then she took a look around to see if she could spot her older brother. After a few moments Akumi sights Tamashii in the trees, she only looked for a moment, then she continued on with what she was doing. She guessed he was probably watching, she would have a chance to say hi after this.

After Akumi shaped her clay she threw the figures into the air and performed a hand sign to make them come to life. 10 giant bee like sculptures fluttered into the air. They were 20x the size of normal bees, but still smaller than Mizu, and Akumi.

"May the show begin." Akumi mumbled, then she pointed at Hoshi, five of the bees dashed at Hoshi. She made them to be more dynamic, and agile. She didn't know how fast Hoshi or Mizu was, but she knew those eyes were the eyes of a Hyuuga. Though she would not jump to conclusions yet, for now, she would command her micro army from on top of her elephant.

The five other bee's buzzed up by Akumi and Ritsuko. Maybe for defense if Hoshi decided to throw a few Jutsu's their way? Either way, Akumi was about to send a warning blast, meaning she didn't care if it hit Hoshi or not, she assumed he would move away from the bees.

Akumi placed her hands into the ram hand seal "Katsu!" She shouted, though the one bee she tried to explode failed, a moment later one of the bees up by Ritsuko and akumi exploded instead. Dust and a black cloud covered the area on top of the elephant. Akumi was used to getting blasted all the time, plus the explosion was closer to Ritsuko than Akumi.

Akumi was thrown off balance though by the blast's shock wave, and the unexpectedness. She tumbled off her mount and landed on her back on the ground. She was a little confused at what just happened, and the wind was knocked right out of her.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Hoshi Mizu stood side by side, some feet away. Usually training would consist of them dueling until one gave out from fatigue. Today they could practice team work, and lastly before Akumi's signal to start they fist bumped each other one last time.

Mizu and Hoshi: "Let's do this!"

Though a hyuuga, the boy did not activate his eyes just yet. A breeze, but not quite a wind struck him gently. The presence of another maybe? He wouldn't know until he'd activate his eyes, he shook this off. Although, the anbu in him gave him the assumption that the four were being watched.

Akumi took a moment to start, suddenly she threw some large bees, made of her explosive clay. Hoshi counted ten, relaying the info to Mizu who nodded and dashed, if Akumi wasn't watching Mizu would successfully go into stealth hiding behind the trees and bushes.

Hoshi watched the incoming bees waiting for them to get closer. He knew hey could explode, but he wanted to know was, is there a chain reaction if they blow up to close together? Hoshi would find out soon enough. The bees were incoming and
Hoshi dashed towards them weaving a few hand seals. The hum of a successful pattern activated his chakras. Hoshi dashed at even higher speeds hopefully losing Akumi's eyes in a flicker, but wait, Hoshi was still there running towards the bees with his ninjato unsheathed and readied. Hoshi would have just performed a stunt double jutsu, switching places with a mud clone as Hoshi would dashed behind the elephant and five remaining bees. And an explosion...

There was an explosion close to the two mounted atop the elephant. Hoshi couldn't see through the black cloud but it wasn't too long before a small body was falling off the horse. It was Akumi! Mizu dashed from his position to catch her but only landed underneath her, breaking her fall. Mizu understood she was a Shinobi, but he still wanted to aid her from such a high fall. Hoshi would then mount the elephant from rear with a single leap. His right hand was buzzing like a thousand birds, encased by a sky blue sparkling chakra. It was coursing with an electric current, bolts and jolts leaping from his hand.

"Chidori Sharp Spear!"

Hoshi launched his hand at one of the four remaining bees, his hand covered in chakra began to grow an extension like a double sided blade. This blade grew from his palm outward into whomping three feet before skewering a clay bee, he hoped. The clearing black smoke only lift to him to move with his gut judgment. Successful or not, Hoshi would land, pausing the chidori though the blade retracted he was still focusing the lightning chakra in his palm.

Hoshi ran up the spine of the elephant passing Ritsuko without a second look, Hoshi acrobatically front flipped off of the elephant back down to ground level. With a spin on the ball of his foot, the real Hoshi revealed his ninjato short sword now being fed the lightning chakra from his hand. The chidori lightning blade, once again, Hoshi readied himself for battle.

 

[Rakujo Yumeko]

Ritsuko had watched Akumi had grabbed some clay, went through a process, and had eventually created ten bees that were larger than normal bees but still pretty small. She couldn't believe that clay was moving on its own, though she obviously didn't fully know how it worked and all. Watching her send half of the bees towards Hoshi and the contract. She momentarily got distracted by the bee that was close to her and reached out to poke it to see if it felt just like the elephant the two were on.

However, at that moment Akumi had said something and the clay bee that she was reaching out to had exploded. The heat and force from it had caused the girl to be thrown off the elephant and her hand to be burnt. Being thrown from the sculpture seemed to happen in slow motion for her as she'd soon feel the pain from her hand that was closest to the explosion, in which the landing on the ground wasn't much of a pleasant feeling either. She landed on her other arm that hadn't been directly in the explosion. The black cloud from the explosion had made it impossible for her to see, but as her body started realizing the pain, the landing on her arm wasn't the best landing as it too hurt, but nowhere near as bad as her other hand did.

As the smoke cleared up, she could see that her hand was a bit burned and a bit bloody with some white showing on her palm, in which she'd close her palm quickly, wincing while doing so. She'd sit up with her hand feeling a bit weird, and that wasn't the pain that she was feeling too. She had just noticed that Hoshi had helped Akumi but had completely ignored the other one in the explosion. She could feel a bit of blood starting to pool in her clenched hand with a few noises coming from it that were quiet enough for her to hear, and would shake her head. "I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me..." She'd say, slowly standing up, panting a bit from the pain.

The big thing for her was her hand, which she would open her hand from being clenched and put it on the elephant for balance but after a moment she had heard a sound on her palm that sounded like chewing and the pain had acted up again, wincing, and trying to ignore the sound.

[Keigo Oen]

Nodding as he would acknowledge his sister there as well as the two she seemed to be fighting against, he found himself trying harder and harder to keep up with the action... Then again, his reaction speed outside of combat wasnt always top tier. He kept his adrenaline in check, but... for this time he would channel his inner gates giving him a deeper insight of what he would be doing and what he would be able to see. To those who could see and feel chakra... they'd feel a slight increase from his direction but he wouldnt try to stop the fighting at all. Either way, watching on he would just simply stay put for now. His sister was showing him what she would do... pretty soon he'd challenge her, and he would see what she could do against him going all out with his Pure Flame against her majestic explosions.

"C'mon AKUMI! LETS GOOO!", he would shout out. Though he couldnt help himself, he was watching his sister fight for the first time. It was something that he would most definitely cherish. Sending messages back to their mom letting her know that she was just as good a fighter as Souji and himself. She was going to do fine. Very good and very sound. He'd help her refine herself... but it wouldnt be for a while. He wanted to do her Jounin exam himself. Though that would be a far off notion in the future... for now she'd get settled in to being a chuunin. Seeing how she fared therefor the time being.

 

[Sukuna Kiyo]

Poof! three of Akumi's bees were sliced, and poof away, the other six was continuously moving and avoiding attacks (Rolled a 20 in the gaming channel).

Akumi's fall was cushioned by Mizu, thankfully. "Thanks Mizu for the cushion." She stated, then she got up, she had a few black marks on her from the blast, but thanks to her healing factor, they were not bad at all. Akumi directed her bees to attack Hoshi again, but unfortunately, they were not in sync with her (rolled a 1.) She tried again, and they started to move in her direction, instead of going towards Hoshi. (Rolled a 5). It looked like she was out of sync with her creations for the time being. She decided it'd be best to check on Ritsuko, she probably got thrown off as well.

Running over to Ritsuko, Akumi saw she was burned, too bad she did not know any healing Jutsu. "Are you o-" Akumi started but stopped when she heard a chewing noise coming from Ritsuko's hand that was on her elephant, Akum grabbed Ritsu's hand and looked at it. "You better not be eating my art!" She blurted out without even thinking about it. Akumi sometimes forgot not everyone had mouths on their hands.

Akumi Noticed that Ritsuko's hand was bloody, but Akumi knew a little ninja could suck it up, at least she still HAD her hand right? It could have been worse.

Akumi looked up at Hoshi, then she tried to direct her elephant to swat at Hoshi three times with its trunk. This beast would be much harder to take down. (6, 3, 15) The first two swats were probably very easily avoidable. But the last one swung harder and faster, twisting to make it harder to avoid.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Hoshi had totally forgotten about Ritsuko, who had fallen out from the black cloud with a burned hand and hitting the ground with a thud. After checking on Akumi, Mizu aided Akumi in checking out Ritsuko. Once Mizu had found out things were okay, he returned to Hoshi's side and took stance. Hoshi stood stoically with his whistling blade cackling from the coursing lightning energy.

He eyed down the remaining bees who seemed to not be listening and flying toward Akumi again. Mizu let up in stance, still focused with his eyes. It was the elephant who began to assault. Three swipes with its large trunk, the first Hoshi easily dodge by rolling underneath. Once getting to his feet another had come which he jumped over, meanwhile Mizu was following suit but was caught by the second strike and sent into a tree, getting winded from the collision. As Hoshi was landing the third strike whacked him just as the big toe of his left foot was gaining footing on the ground. No time to react this time, Shouyu was also pummeled into a tree.

First his back, the force jerked his head back to hit the tree too. He slid down to its base, approached by Mizu who offered a helping hand up. Hoshi took the hand but was slow to rise and dusted himself off. He limped back to within range of the elephant huffing and puffing. He felt the chakra surge in his veins, his hyperactive ability restoring bits of his energy. He wiped a bit of saliva from his lip that spilled when he hit the tree. He swung the lightning and pointed it at the elephant.

" Okay, it's time to cut that thing down to size!"

Whether that would work was unknown, what if he cut a limb and she was able to still detonate it? That would prove dangerous, in anyway, Hoshi took stance and darted at the elephant. If he could, he would mount the elephant's trunk plunging his blade into it as he ran up the trunk looking to severe its trunk in two. Mizu would be holding his arm out, within his empty hand a spear from the horn of a narwhal materialized into his palm and he smirked.

Hoshi seemed to be doing well against Akumi's clay creations, at least he was getting some good practice. Akumi took a look as he was hit, and thrown at a tree. She cracked a smirk. He had her full attention now, Ritsuko would have to be dealt with later. A burn on the hand was nothing, she'd probably obtain worse injuries throughout her life as a Konuchi anyways.

The Elephant was able to avoid Hoshi's attempt to jump on its trunk. The Elephant reared up on its back legs, making itself look twice its size, then it slammed back down to the ground, shaking the earth. (Rolled a 20) Meanwhile, Akumi's 6 bees went on the attack. Three went towards Hoshi, attacking the boy simultaneously as the other three attacked Mizu. The three that went after Hoshi swung their stingers at him, (rolled 17, 1, 17) The first bee was fast, agile and seemed to be right on. The second bee was probably not even trying, as it completely missed, and almost hit one of its own. The third bee swung just as fast as the first one, hoping to land a hit.

Whether the bees hit or not, Akumi decided to get rid of them before she ran out of chakra. She would have to get rid of the elephant soon as well, but it was much too close to her and everyone else. A big bomb had a big blast radius after all. She placed her hands into the ram hand seal, "Katsu!" She shouted, then the bees exploded all at once. (Rolled 16, 17, 16, 15, 16, 12).

Akumi sighed after they were gone, it was always relaxing to watch such beauty, and perfection. Though the blasts could have been better, at least they were able to at least leave crater for each explosion. Akumi would have to wait to see if Hoshi or Mizu were injured in the blasts of not. She couldn't help but show a grin after seeing her explosions though, they always made her so happy.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Hoshi missed the trunk and instead redirected himself with a twist to fall down to the ground. Once he landed he lost his footing from the quake of the elephant's stomp. This threw him off his defenses as three bees flew toward him in response. The first one caught him trying to stand and dash but it came within range and exploded, Hoshi blocked his face with his forearms as the explosion knocked him back. The next bee seemed wayward, Hoshi used his backward stumble to backflip and dodge. The next one hit just as good as the first and again he was blasted into a tree, losing maintain of his chidori blade. He looked over...

"Mizu!"

The young otter was scurrying around with his hand ups flailing. He had successfully dodge the three bees by running around frantic by luck. But the next set of six came in hot as the first exposed on Hoshi and Mizu. Mizu flew into a tree, his eyes swirled and became large X's, drool spilling from his lip. Another bee followed right after and hit Hoshi point blank. Had Hoshi's Byakugan caught sight of the next Twix foreseeing the attack Hoshi easily side stepped with his bruised and battered self. The fourth he basically jumped into and blasted once more but recovered quickly as when the next one followed his eyes widened.

A cloud of dust would replace the boy, his high speed ninja dash at a high reaction rate gave him the ability to avoid the 5th and 6th struck at the same time and Hoshi was sent flying and skidding across the floor where he was slow to rise. His left hand clutched the dirt while he made a fist and staggered while rising. One eye was closed, he was bleeding slightly, dirty and battered. He was heaving breaths, one shoulder lumped over.

"I'm fine... But let me attend to Mizu... he is still young and new to the ways of the Shinobi."

Hoshi slowly limped over to his marine mammal comrade. He grunted but did not let the physical distress slow him down. Mizu was more than important than anything at the moment. He promised his contract overlord to look after her seed. When Hoshi was close he kneeled down and Mizu regained consciousness. Mizu blinked himself back into clear view looking at Hoshi.

"Sorry little guy... You okay?"

Mizu: "Ninja can make things explode? Gaaaahhhh."

Mizu complained holding his head tears filling his eyes. He and Hoshi were so much alike as far as sensitivity within the heart. Mizu too would have been cover in minor scars, scrapes and bruises, rubbing his head.
