Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kamaru walked into the bar and surveyed the area. A man was running over trying to explain things in a frantic tone, his stuttering and elaborations only distracted scattered the thoughts as the place was observed so Kamaru put up a hand to tell the man to be still so he could concentrate. Walking over to the courier Kamaru found a man with his head back that sighed through shallow breathing before his head bobbed forward. The unfinished mug of Beer in front of him and the story the man was drunk flagged in Kamaru’s mind.

It was after closing, the courier was supposedly drunk on half a beer he started some six plus hours ago. Looking into the man's eyes and being close to him confused Kamaru. He didn't smell drunk, he looked like he was in a rough way but Kamaru didn't have the answers. He wasn't a medical specialist either, sniffing the man's drink got him nothing. Getting a plate and dumping the drink out got an angry owner.
Kamaru apologized pulling a blade and shifting around the dregs, finding a clear pill casing he let the owner know the man was poisoned in his bar in front of people that were none the wiser. Paying for a room Kamaru got the drugged courier a place to recoup.

The client went into a bit of back story Kamaru didn't need. Kamaru rethought it a bit after he started. The client's package was a firework to be set off by the regional experts at their workshop, why someone would send a firework to people that did it for a living sounded off but it was part of a promise. The client had meet a girl and wanted to go out with her. She would agree supposedly if she saw a shooting star at dawn.
Thinking about the why the package needed to get there Kamaru just asked a blunt question, if she had another suitor trying to stop him. He started to say no before stating she had had a man demand she date her forcefully. She had declined just as forcefully though. Love and on top of that a love not returned would be a good reason Kamaru figured to sabotage someone else's chances possible. If this guy was going to get a courier to help him have his deal to happen it would stand to reason hiring someone to make it not happen was also possible. Pulling out a map and looking at the time Kamaru asked the where the location was, there was a delivery to make.

Two in the morning, fifty miles through forests, hilly areas, and cliffs in the starlight. Originally the guy had probably twelve hours in the cover of darkness to get there taking paths. Kamaru had a third of the time and would probably need to go there directly. Asking for the package got him what looked like a ball wrapped in ropes for a handle.

Kamaru shocked the man asking how long it would take to make more fireworks. Another thirty minutes later got Kamaru spares which he sealed away with the originally except for one in a scroll. With a nod he left and was out into the early morning. In truth Kamaru knew making it there would be easy even with the terrain, visibility, and time. If no one was in wait.

And hour in Kamaru figured he was about a third of the way to his destination when he meet the first trap, springing it on the run as he bypassed the area before it could go off. A log trap? possibly from the sounds but he didn't have time he need to focus on looking for who would be coming for him soon. If there were traps this far out that meant someone definitely didn't want the package delivered and had gone to a bit of trouble to plan out how to slow him down and deter him from just pushing forward foolishly. thinking of how to get around the traps and alternate routes plus implementing any countermeasures would take time. Kamaru figured it be easier to just deal with what came up as it did.

Midstep he kicked down digging his toe into the dirt changing his center of gravity as it came. He heard them faintly before he faintly sensed it. The slight tapping of the trees and ground around him from various angles actually sounded relaxing in a way. Kamaru did a mental note on time and distance. I made sense to lay in wait closer to the destination. Kamaru had started with his jacket already packed and had rolled up sleeves considering he would be moving full tilt he didn't have to be worried about showing up and looking slightly a mess, he'd be showing up rough, not from a run but the fight he was about to have.

The ambusher made themselves known only to have Kamaru do the unexpected. Take the rope off the firework and punt it past the man before darting around him. Over his shoulder Kamaru let him know fireworks were supposedly pretty sturdy. The obscene logic shocked him long enough for Kamaru to press through.

Kamaru had taken a job to deliver a package to a location, but there he was kicking it around the forest in the earl morning with someone trying to kill him right on his heels. His plan or lack of one was messing with the saboteur to say the very least. Kamaru seemed to be playing a game of keep away and having fun it. It aggravated the man in a way it seemed. Kamaru's jabs and mocking and passes off trees to himself to keep on the move let his opponent know something he was still pushing his way to the destination. Mental calculations set the two squaring off finally five miles from the destination. Kamaru smirked and waved the guy closer before he lurched shifting in an odd way splitting in six directions with the firework racing at the saboteur. Seeing the man explode in a cloud of green mist wasn't expected but the firework being punting into the air also took the man by surprised. Clones faded in the caustic mist and the saboteur found the realy Kamaru running up a tree the man taking stride on the tree next to him. Kamaru leaping from the tree up to kick the firework into the night sky continued to baffle the man as they landed.

Kamaru explained he had figured out where they were and knew the layout of the fireworks workshop. He had just knocked the firework into the direction of the launch tube. Looking up and noticing wind Kamaru swore. The man smirked for a change. Kamaru's legs felt heavy. He went to move but his legs turned to jelly. Looking around he realized what was going on, another poison to slow and paralyze. The man started to move off when Kamaru pulled out a scroll and mentioned maybe it was a fake and he had the real one with him. The man was going to call his bluff until Kamaru pulled out two more fireworks. In the confusion and indecision Kamaru punched out the fireworks in two other directions. Kamaru started laughing madly.

As the man ran off to try and gather all three Kamaru started blurring through hand seals going over the few medical jutsu he knew, that could help at least were even less. Getting the poisons out of his system would take time but he was at least moving as he flowed Chakra through his body and bite down as he electrocuted himself trying to remove the remains of the poisons. Showing up at dawn with a ball from a scroll at the workshop at the launch tube gave Kamaru a treat, he had never seen a firework that looked like a fireball flying through the sky at dawn. He figured there was at least someone below the hill that probably didn't like what he was seeing. Hopefully there was at least one or two people that did.
