Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Very much used to compliments, Chizuru took the one she got from Kyojin in stride. When he speaks up about entering that tournament she finds herself surprised once more. She wasn’t much of a fighter. Not that she was incapable of fighting, mind you. She just only did so when necessary, mostly because she was trained to kill and holding back was nearly impossible for her. She did not thing her fighting style was entertaining to watch and put on such a lovely show for the guest so she blushes heavily and then shakes her head.

“I-I do not think I will join up…I would have to change clothes and it takes forever to get out of this dress and really I am just here to see my Auntie get married on this joyous day…oh oh! If someone needs healing after the matches, I could help you there.”

Suddenly Ginjiro finally speaks up, clearly not happy with the answer that Chizuru was given by Kyojin about how the machine worked. Chizuru perks up once more and nods her head in understanding. She was so amazed by such a device which may actually seem kind of silly considering half the things she and her father created together such as their two headed pet dog, but truly, she was always fascinated with such devices.

“Oh could you show me? I would love to good sir.” She ponders for a moment before answering his final question. “Oh, I’m Yamazaki Chizuru,” She curtsies so gracefully before adding. “I’m 12 years old and I’m a medical ninja. Pleased to meet you.”

Ah the girl was a little prodigy and it should come to no surprise considering her clan name.

Kuro looked at Suzuhime and ran his hair loving through her hair for a brief moment. "I am going to go enjoy a match before the ceremony honey, feel free to watch I won't do anything too dangerous. I believe my brother Asagao will help me out since its a two on two match." Kuro stretched his left hand a bit before rolling his neck and making his way to the walled arena. Kuro stripped out of his kimono and put on a black fighting gi and some grey wraps. A quick scan of the room showed these two challengers were some of the strongest people in the dojo today neither of them let any thoughts roam free. Though they were abuzz with activity they were indeed very strong which meant Kuro didn't have to hold back, he only needed to use nonlethal techniques.

Normally, Enzan was more than willing to make a new friend. Especially one that could fight but he felt that now while they had the time he might as well warn the guy about what they were walking into. With what he knew about the world and having been a product of more than one set of what he hoped were but knew weren't, willing donors; this would be the only chance that he had to speak his peace before they tested this new arrangement. Reaching out to stop the walking man before they entered the actual battle zone. "Look, the thing about my bullies is that they . . .ffffff-" he paused as he fell short of his sudden boldness but then found it again after a few odd seconds with his hand on the mans hand in a suddenly very not so manly moment that left him feeling very odd about . . . "Mind readers see what those who's minds they read see. The funny thing about what we see with our eyes is that there's no amount of mental blocks that we can throw up to shield it from them no matter what we do. However, much like a crowded city, if you flood the senses with many different things at once then they either cease to be able to focus on one thing or are forced to focus on something that they don't want to."

Maybe he ought to explain what exactly it was that he meant? That came right after he removed his hand from the very compromising position that it was in and then he cleared his throat and chuckled nervously. "My bullies, they employed such tactics in order to distract me. It's how I learned to focus on that fine line between everything and nothing. It's also how I learned to keep my sanity." Yes, that would come in time. There was only so many ways that Enzan could tell him that he was grown instead of born, and that his bullies were really his siblings who happened to look exactly like him. More so to the fact, there was the sneaking suspicion that he could trace certain genetic abilities to this part of the world where otherworldly beings were common place. None the less, he was different than those before, those that didn't make it. He was the culmination of fine tuned research turned breathing form. Certain tales were too long for abridged versions and this was one such story that Kagemaru would have to piece together through their acquaintanceship rather than by blunt explanation. He'd see though, as soon as this thing got going, he was going to give these Toraono a fight to remember him by. This tourney was going to be a breeze, no pun to the weather.

The Sunaku gathering exchanged words between themselves, looking around the massive hall. For a few of them it was the first time they ever witnessed what was hidden within the walls of the dojo. While Harupia and his parents weren’t among them he still had a deep appreciation for the grand scale of everything inside of the hall's they passed. His mother looked also quite lively, as she tried to turn the gaze of her husband at the more impressive markings of the pillars. Though they both really knew it wouldn’t elect much more than an annoyed grunt out of the man. His father had very little interest in how a house looked, as long as it was sturdy and could hold a family safely inside. The main reason he came to the wedding was because of how he respected the Toraono as warriors. Still, he did not look forward to all the traditions and celebrations tied to the wedding. The thought made Harupia chuckle a bit... If anything, he expected that something quite uncharacteristic for a wedding would happen at least once during the ceremony.

As they made it to the hall where most of the guests were gathered, his suspicions were proved right as a mysterious, giant figure who called himslef Kyojin approached him, asking about participation in some sort of tournament. Before he had a chance to speak his mother chimed in "A tournament? On the day of the wedding? Oh dear, the Toraono clan can’t seem to take a break from a fight, can they now?" to which Shigeo replied in a visibly excited tone "Nothing wrong in staying vigilante. And it’s a good way to measure the strength of the guests... and it sounds like a better festivity then what you had people go through during our wedding..." he finished with a pointed look to his wife, to which she simply replied "Oh darling sometimes you must indulge your little flower, don’t you?' smiling towards him in a polite, yet somewhat devious laugh.

Shaking his head with a chuckle he would say "First things first, on Behalf of the Sunaku Clan, thank you for having us here on this grand occasion Kyojin-san. As for the tournament, I would like to know a bit more about the rules themselves. I was half expecting something like this to happen, but not that I could possibly be involved myself...I see that the potential competition came from all across the land..." he ended with a smile, looking around a bit. He mostly noticed the man Kyojin approached earlier, who looked quite unusual. Attire aside, he seemed quite pale...at least by Sunan standards. He also noticed the little girl he saw with Iori during the engagement gathering. His daughter if he recalled correctly. He would send her a warm smile, since he remembered she didn’t feel quite well then until meeting the other young girl. He hoped she would enjoy her time here. He was looking forward to...well, whatever might happen really.
OOC: I assumed Kyojin was one of Kuro's RS bodies. If thats not the case I'll adjust accordingly

Shira had heard word that Kuro and Suzuhime were to be married. While she did not really know either of them, it seemed like a festivity that she should attend to, at the very least, get out of her house and wish the couple congratulations on their wedding day. It didn't take her long to reach the Dojo itself, but she did pause at the gate. She had always wondered what was inside, considering she never really got out much to begin with. Well, only one way to find out. Shira headed forward and registered that she was attending, before entering into the building and heading to the large hall that everyone else seemed to be gathering in. She hoped she wasn't too late. While it was her usual to be the last to arrive, she didn't want to seem overly rude by intruding after an event has started.

She looked around at all the people gathered and noticed a few things. One, she was definitely not dressed well for this occasion, so that was going to bother her, but then again she wasn't trying to impress anyone. Still her normal red tunic, black pants, and freshly polished black shoes didn't look terrible and for once her arm bandages weren't on so it passed for semi-formal. Second, she knew absolutely no one here. Great. Well, best to just blend in. She did her best to blend amoung the crowd, basically just watching people, observing the festivities. Apparently there was some tournament to be held."I could always participate I suppose...might require a bit more thought. No one really knows me here and I haven't even prepped. Maybe the side lines would be best given the circumstances." Normally this would peak her interest, but today just didn't appeal to her better nature, oddly enough. She would just wait for the real festivities to begin, maybe converse a little, think over the proposal to enter. After all, she had mostly just come to give her congrats to the lovely couple and then proceed on her way, as usual.

Suzuhime and Kuro arrived into the room with their own escort and the like. And already they were being assaulted by well wishers, party goers, friends, and family. Some of the guests already... challenging Kuro to a fight... Suzuhime sighed. Today was supposed to be the day she had Kuro all the herself! She may be greedy, but it annoyed her somewhat. Suzuhime would sigh again when Kuro had accepted the offer.

"Very vell Kuro... Try not to tire yourself out, ja? Jou're going to need jour energy later."

Suzuhime would release her grip on her very soon to be husband. Smiling a bit when she saw Chizuru and Iori among the crowd. She would make her way towards them, the duo of Kuro's still traveling at her sides her where she stepped. Suzuhime smiling at both representations of her beloved. While not the very same she knew, she could at least pretend. Chizuru seemed to be busy with one of the Toraonos and was learning more about the telegraph... such a primitive piece of technology.. at least to an inventor like herself. So instead she shot for her older brother Iori. Giving him a tight hug when she was close enough.

"Thank jou for coming Iori, it really means a lot to me. Und i'm surprised jou managed to convince Chizuru to come. Vow... I can't believe zhat i'm already 23... It feels like only yesterday I had moved in with jou after just arriving to Sunagakure. My accent has really flared up recently..."

Suzuhime would look a little bit around Iori, a face of depressing hope coming across her face as she asked her next question.

"Zo... are mom and dad here...? Or could zhey not make it...?"

She asked in a rather sullen voice. Already deciding that they were not here, nor would they show up.

"If zhey didn't zhen... zhat's fine. I need to go greet zhe clan leaders."

Suzuhime would slowly walk off as she tried to wipe off her saddened expression. Grasping one of the Kuro's accompanying her by the arm for comfort. Glancing at the already towering table of gifts labeled for the happy couple, and Suzuhime. A good majority of the gifts were to Suzuhime, the rest for both of them. The Toraono certainly were generous for the prince's wife... and future matriarch... but that couldn't have been the only reason. She seemed to have left a lasting impression upon the other clans of the Toraono. Suzuhime would walk around the party, greeting the clan leaders of the clans that ran with the Toraono. All of which gave Suzuhime their own form of congratulations for the wedding and the birthday. She would smile and wave at some well wishers while she waited for Kuro to return. Or at least until something interesting happened.

Iori would watch Chizuru go off, something having caught the young prodigies eye. He would idly mingle with the guests, putting a smile on for them while he hoped to find his sister. She would wind up finding him, a sincere smile spreading on his lips as he gave her a hug right back. "Chizuru wouldn't have missed this for the world. And neither would I, this is a very important time for our family, after all." He would say, raising a brow as the woman spoke in a thick accent. "You...should probably have that checked, ja?" He would chuckle, a hand running through her hair. He wouldn't be surprised by her following question, shaking his head though he didn't lose their smile. They're not here yet but they should be on their...." His words would fall silent as she suddenly left his side, sighing softly as he watched her walk away. "Always assuming the worst." He would muse to himself before he would be disturbed from his thoughts by a tap to the shoulder. Turning around he would grin as he came face to face with a young woman with equally vibrant red hair and green eyes who leaned up on her tiptoes to whisper into his ear.

"Ah, well, you're timing could have been better. Let them know we'll be right out." He would say as he turned and began to move through the crowd, soon coming upon Suzuhime's side. "Suzu, I would like a word with you outside, if you please." He would say as he offered her an arm, leading her to the front doors of she came with him.

Chizuru would suddenly stop in mid stride as she was about to move with Ginjiro to the library to learn more about the device, but then a familiar voice rang out and she perks up with delight. It was her auntie Suzu! Chizuru whirls about, having not seen her Aunt in a bit and more importantly she had yet to see that wedding dress and suddenly bolts away from Ginjiro, a bit confused at first as it seemed that Suzu was saddened by something and was attempting to walk away from Iori. Odd thing to do and happen on her wedding day but Chizuru would worry about that later. She’d intercept Suzuhime before she could move to far away and it seemed like Iori wasn’t quite done with her anyway.

“Auntie Suzu! You look so beautiful! Well you always look pretty, but I mean that you are so regal and pretty looking! I just love this dress…I would wear such a thing even if I were not getting married!”

Chizuru was so happy, so full of energy, she still wanted to play with that telegraph but for now it could wait till later.

“Is something the matter Auntie? Daddy what did you do to Auntie?” Chizuru would glare at Iori as he approached to escort Suzu. The adorable one would of course take this time to follow the both of them.

Kyojin Kuro watched Chizuru run off to Suzuhime and smiled even as she was figuring out how to use the telegraph device. He also noted that Suzuhime looked somewhat disappointed and made a mental note to cheer her up when his original self finished his match. This should be a happy occasion for everyone especially her. Perhaps he should mention the marvelous amount of gifts that had been delivered for her double special day. Demon Kuro motioned for Kagemaru to speak with him at his earliest convenience as he made his way to the actually arena. He had removed his kimono and changed into a fighting gi and was proceeding to wrap his hands and feet. He waited patiently for Kagemaru to join him so they could discuss the terms of the match a bit. Sanryoukyogan Kuro quietly followed behind Suzhime to make sure he knew why she felt upset. "He slowly began to figure out it had something to do with Suzuhime's parents making it to the wedding.

Just as quickly as the conversation had begun, it ended in a flash. Where had that girl gone to, anyways? Oh well, it didn't matter much anyways. Deciding to continue wandering through the area for a while, Ginjiro saw that there were a group of people congregating around a small area. What was going on, huh? Pushing his way through the crowds to try and get a better view, Ginjiro ducked under legs, squeezed through bodies, and side-stepped other people all trying to do the same thing he was. Eventually reaching the front of the crowd, Ginjiro now could see what was going on; however, he wasn't so sure he liked what he saw. It seemed like Kagemaru-sensei had decided to take part in the fighting anyways. Rolling his eyes, Ginjiro let out an exasperated sigh. "Damn it Kagemaru-sensei. You're going to blow our cover..." Ginjiro needed to find a way to try and dissuade his mentor from continuing on with this foolhardy task. Honestly, what the heck had gotten into him?! Pushing his way through the last bit of people in his way, the young boy carefully skirted along the outside of the training area. Slowly approaching his sensei, Ginjiro pretended to act innocently. He tried to act like a clueless little child. Putting on his best smile, Ginjiro went up to Kagemaru-sensei. "Kagemaru-sensei, there you are! I've been looking all over for you! What are you doing here, huh? Looks like there's a match about to start, so maybe we should get out of their way..." Turning to the man next to him, Ginjiro bowed from the waist. "You must be the challenger. Please to meet you, sir. We'll get out of your way immediately." Straightening up again, Ginjiro continued with his act. Pouring all of his thoughts into one look into his sensei's eyes, Ginjiro tried once more. "C'mon Kagemaru-sensei. Why don't we go get some food or something?"

I'm no stranger to that affliction. It took years to be able focus on less. Though Kage was slightly curious as to why he felt the sudden urge to share that information. However, his response to that would have to wait as he could tell that hew as being summoned by the Elder Toraono. But it would seem that Ginjiro had some hesitations about his sudden choice to fight. Kagemaru understood the reaction, but there were things going on that the boy probably didn't understand. As he tried to lead him away, Kage stopped him and would explain the situation clearly to him. He'd kneel down to his level but Ginjiro wasn't that short and Kage would have found himself looking up at the kid, so he decided to stand.

Ginji, remember what I had intended on teaching you guys when we arrived? That I never got around to teaching? Well assume that particular issue skill would have been useful but its too late to worry about it now. Long story short, whatever cover we had was blown a while ago. So sit back, and enjoy the show. Try and learn something. I'm sure you will. Kage naturally assumed that if there were those who could see through his guise of his vision that there would be those who had the ability thread through thoughts. As a matter of fact, the Toraono that had beckoned for him was giving off similar chakra patterns to Umashi though vastly different in flow, they had a similar feel to each other.

So for now... excuse me, I believe Toraono-san would like a word. Kage walked over to Kuro calm like normal. The fact that he'd visually beckoned him to come closer only proved Kage's forethought that his jig was up. As he reached him, there was a clear difference in size. Kagemaru's fighting style was not one focused around power but grace and fluidity, but it seemed that this mans fighting style was caused him to exhert great strength. Which, luckily for Kage, his style was effective in all forms of combat and even though he was primarily a close to mid ranged fighter, he could even fight decently long ranged as well. But for now, his only concern was the conversation before him.

Nice to finally meet you Toraono-San. Congratulations on your wedding. Just what was it that you wished to speak to me about?

Kuro levitated a long lounge couch over and stretched before taking a seat, "I was hoping we could keep our match one on one so I would be able to keep moving during the wedding... a two on two match although fun would cause me to strain myself and I would rather we just have fun and exchange techniques, win or lose, battles fought in the Toraono Arena are normally for learning purposes and showing out for friends and family. I figure a five round match with only taijutsu and defensive ninjutsu allowed should give everyone a show and allow us to have fun without overly hurting oneanother. Do you have any preferences or requests?" It seemed Kuro wasn't worried about saving face or his looks he just wanted to be able to continue his wedding day with minimal injuries. He had even suggested limiting their repertoire to taijutsu and defensive ninjutsu. He made no mention of genjutsu but from the look of Kuro genjutsu was not his normal fighting method. Whatever the case maybe Kuro only wanted to have fun and get back to his wife to be.

Kuro waited to see if his challenger had any conditions.

Not so much impressed, but surprised that Kuro levitated a couch to sit on as he began to chat. Kagemaru decided it wouldn't be rude to take a seat as well and respond. It would seem as though the groom was having second thoughts or at least the logic was starting to set in. Either way, Kage didn't mind but he would make his intentions known. Best to air everything out instead of sneaking around.

Ah, well unfortunately I cannot comply with those requests. But let me explain why. He assumed that Kuro would have been somewhat surprised with that response so he would do his best in explaining so that there would be no confusion.

Though I'm happy that today is a special day for you, it is also somewhat unfortunate that I and my team arrived when we did. Because we're not here for just fun. We're actually on a mission. This was when Kagemaru's training would take place. The ability to tell the truth and lie all at the same time.

You see, we are shinobi from Leaf City and we were sent here to asses the varous strengths of the people of Wind Country and the overall stability of its economy. There is a valid reason though. A slight pause before he would continue explaining.

Our boss, who's in charge of the Konoha corporation, doesn't want to enter into any kind of political friendship unless he can safely assume that the partnership would be mutually beneficial. Which is why we're here. To assess. With that assessment comes a test of military strength, which happens to be my specialty, as well as a detailed description and example of the economy.

While I'm aware that this isn't the Hidden Sand village, I can tell that based on this particular place, that the economy of this country isn't in decline. Partially because you don't strike me as the tyrinical type to hoard money so I believe I can safely assume your wealth comes from what people would deem as 'good' sources. But for now... I mean to tell you that based on what I've seen, you're of a higher caliber of fighter to the point where I believe that if there were more of you, excluding the separate bodies you have,
This was Kage's way of letting Kuro know that he could see the chakra connection between himself and his various bodies.

Then the Wind Country or more specifically the Sand Village's strength would meed our boss's expectations should he persue a political relationship.

Before I begin to ramble I'll cut to the chase. Though today is a special day, we are somewhat on a schedule and if you cannot spare the time to have a somewhat serious fight with me, then I'd like to postpone that challenge for the time being or seek out an equally strong or stronger opponent. Though I think your wife may wish you to not fight today as well. Speaking frankly... I was surprised you accepted the challenge. A Leaf woman would have been highly upset had her husband risked ruining her special day for a sparing match.

I know that may have been a lot to take in, but hopefully there are no hard feelings. Just orders from above.

He'd done his best to explain everything in a way that was easy to digest. His mission parameters were clear. Mizuki, Ginjiro, Zenichi and himself all had to test the strengths of the shinobi of the Sand and gather information of their infrastructure. That much was simple. However, as he thought about this, he realized that Mizuki still hadn't returned from his treatment. Just what exactly was going on?

Kuro practically cheered Kagemaru on as he listened to his assessment. "That is quite an understatement, but thank for understanding my situation even better than I could have presented, I will accept your challenge then for Sunagakure's prosperity and I will give you a ledger with our actual trades and economic values as well as the requests our desert communities have. We are nothing if not businessmen. I will meet the challenge of you and your companion with ninety percent of my capability and I will go as far as to demonstrate my full capability without causing undue harm. You didn't have to reveal your mission but I understand your needs far better all the same so let's get this started."<i></i>

Kuro stood up straight and removed his gi top, Kuro then walked to a mirror and upon touching the mirror a near perfect clone of Kuro emerged from the mirror after a set of seals fluttered to life then dispersed. This Kuro seemed to be more assertive and direct. "Ninety percent, no hold's barred and medical sands and personnel on standby. Let's have some fun gentlemen."<i></i>

Zenichi waited for a response from Harupia against Kuro's request. His heart sank a little when the Suna-nin declined the offer for to spar Zenichi. He felt like his size was holding him back from being taken seriously. Other kids his age were forced to fight each day as a form of training but rarely had to fight outside of the dojo or training fields. He could understand another's hesitance to engage. Unfortunately, he wasn't given the same luxury to hide behind the pillars. He had to step forward and see what the Suna-nin had to offer. Furthermore, he needed to forge his own skills with other's blood used as cutting oil. He started to fall back to his original idea of just leaving and heading towards the main part of the village. There had to be more activity going on there. Or at least, the activity wouldn't be solitary focused on the lovely bride and groom. But just as he was about to use a bit of ninja stealth to hide into the corners and escaped, he noticed another teen that looked as out of place as him. He made a beeline towards her and mustered every bit of courage he could to ask a solitary question

I have traveled a long way to test my skills. Would you care to have a one-on-one match against me?

Finally they were done talking. Shaking his head, Enzan kicked off the wall that he'd been leaning against as the two men spoke and shook his head as he walked up to the fray to be. "You know, there are quicker ways of handling business. Like with ones fist . . . or is that considered just a bit too aggressive for civilized men?" he paused as his comments to Kagemaru were interrupted by Kuro seemingly cloning himself via a mirror technique of some kind. Instantly he was jealous because that stole the entire steam that he'd been using to build momentum via his own tricks of the trade. "Now that's something that you don't see everyday. How about I take the mouthy one on the left and you take the smart one on the right?" It seemed to be an even trade of sorts, easy to handle, unless the targets got confused, then it would just be one hectic game of racquetball. Being that there wasn't much speaking to be done from that point onward, whatever Kagemaru was going to do, he'd just follow and play backup. He seemed to do that well enough after all. What he'd expect from Kuro though . . . that was up for debate. There were those that were apt to attack the mind, and those that were apt to attack with the physical. This guy seemed to be on the physical side but there were odder things to be seen in the deserts of the wind.

Once Suzuhime had left the company of her brother and greeted some other clan members, her niece Chizuru had stormed up to her, gushing over her wedding dress and how good it looked on her, resulting in Suzuhime blushing. Iori then tapping her shoulder and asking for to talk with her outside. Turns out that Suzuhime had indeed made it obvious she was upset over her assumption, because Chizuru inquired about it, thinking Iori had said something upset her.

"Iz nothing Chiuzuru... Auntie is just being negative..."

She assured Chizuru, lightly rubbing her shoulder. Suzuhime would then look at Iori and take his arm. Not knowing of what he wanted with her. Maybe they were going to talk about... no. She would look up towards her older brother. Somewhat with admiration and thanks. If it hadn't been for Iori, Suzuhime would have never come to Sunagakure... she would have never met Kuro... she wouldn't be right here, right now on her wedding day. It may have been on rather tragic times for the reason she arrived with Iori's wife dying... but through tragedy, Suzuhime managed to find happiness at least. Iori seemed pretty content with himself nowadays. Suzuhime had been led through the crowd of partygoers, all the way to the front doors of the dojo. Suzuhime would look up at Iori again.

"So... what did you want to talk about? I'm sure I have plenty of time because Kuro is getting into fights again... heh..."

She mused to herself. It wouldn't be easy to get used to the number of people that would fight Kuro, powerful men bring powerful rivals apparently. Gazing over to Chizuru she would smile and break Iori's hold of her to give some late returned affection.

"You look quite stunning yourself Chizuru... thank you so much for coming, it wouldn't be the same without you or yourself here."

Lightly planting a kiss on her cheek she would turn back to Iori.

Ginjiro was stunned. There was no other way to put it. Looking at Kagemaru-sensei with a look of complete bafflement, it took the boy a few moments to string his words together. "How in the world did our cover get blown?!" The young boy couldn't get it through his head that everything they had worked for was now worthless. What was all that time planning their story for, then? Kagemaru-sensei's words about the skill he hadn't been able to teach them rang clearly in the boy's mind, so he tried not to think about anything. But still, he couldn't get over the fact that he was a little peeved. Making his way back into the crowd, Ginjiro stood with his arms crossed over his chest as he fumed a little. He knew that Kagemaru-sensei wouldn't steer them wrong, but at the same time it was frustrating having not been included in the loop. It was like Mizuki-sempai, Zenichi-kun and Ginjiro weren't even a part of the planning process! Okay, that wasn't true—Ginjiro knew that Kagemaru-sensei would never purposefully exclude them. It must have been that in the heat of the situation, he had to make a split second call. Of course he couldn't call on the three of them, since they were...were...

Come to think of it, where were Mizuki-sempai and Zenichi-kun? The last he'd seen of either of them, Mizuki-sempai was heading to the hospital and Zenichi-kun had left for a fight. Scanning the crowd, Ginjiro tried to spot at least Zenichi-kun. He figured that if Mizuki-sempai was healed, he'd have found them already. But Zenichi-kun wasn't anywhere to be found. Making his way through the crowds, Ginjiro began to search everywhere for him. He wasn't anywhere. This wasn't good at all! Ginjiro was beginning to get a little worried, and so he headed back to Kagemaru-sensei. He knew that the man had told him to stay out of the way, but this was something important.
"Kagemaru-sensei, is Mizuki-sempai still in the Medical Ward? And do you have any idea where Zenichi-kun is? I can't find him anywhere..." Hopefully Ginjiro had simply over looked his teammate's location. Hopefully. Because the alternative would be that they had lost him. Or worse, perhaps the boy had been kidnapped!

Tuesday : Toraono Dojo : 7:20PM

Kage was quite pleased with the reaction he'd gotten from the Toraono. As he began to mentally prepare himself for the challenge to come, there was then another hiccup in the plan as Ginjiro made his way to their position inquiring about Mizuki and Zenichi. Though now that he'd brought them back to his attention, it had been a very long time since Kage had last seen Zenichi and Mizuki had yet to return from his trip to the medical ward. He was sure that his wounds weren't that severe and so it shouldn't have taken him that long to return.

Something wasn't right...

However, he didn't want to jump to the conclusion of suspecting foul play. He would investigate the situation first and draw a conclusion once he had a sufficient amount of data to work with.

My appologies Toraono-San, but it would seem that half my team is missing. I cannot in good conscousness duel you without seeing to that issue first. However, I can conduct the search on my own so that you don't have to worry yourself with my trivial matters. I'd prefer not to ruin this occasion more then I have already. With that, he turned back to Ginjiro and spoke.

The last time I had visual contact with Mizuki was as he was heading off to the medical wing. We should start there to make sure he's safe. Then we'll go off to look for Zenichi. The worst case scenario for this particular situation was that Zenichi had been taken and that Mizuki was either killed or being detained. If that were the case, then he'd need to keep Ginjiro close to him, however, that scenario was unlikely as there were several guests here and one of which was also a Leaf shinobi so if there happened to be anything wrong, fighting their way out wouldn't be impossible. An alternate situation may be that Zenichi went AWOL and if that were the case, then the boy was in serious trouble. He'd better hope that they find him in this dojo otherwise Kagemaru would have to switch from his normal state to his "hunting missing nin" mentality. The true outcome of it all would be revealed with time.

It seemed as if Kagemaru-sensei had had a change of heart upon hearing that. Suddenly the fight was meaningless, and their current objective had switched to finding Mizuki-sempai and Zenichi-kun. Watching as Kagemaru-sensei apologized to the host of the party, Toraono-san, for the sudden change in plans. Everything was moving so quickly, that Ginjiro was doing his best to keep up with Kagemaru-sensei. When the man stated how they would first check up on Mizuki-sempai, then they would find Zenichi-kun, Ginjiro simply nodded to the man. "That sounds good. I'll follow your lead, Kagemaru-sensei." With that, the boy kept close to his sensei wherever they were to go. Keeping his eyes and ears peeled for any sort of sign of the two of them, the young boy wanted to be prepared for anything. He even kept his left hand by his belt pouch at all times, just in case they would have to fight their way out of here. It was an unlikely scenario, but it was a possibility all the same.

Sorry for the short post, but there's not much else to really comment on. :/
