Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kei mulled over the lecture as he was released from the genjutsu. It seemed like there were some weaknesses in genjutsu he could exploit. Other than that he had to train his mind to better resist the illusions. It seemed like the best way to do that was to simply be put under genjutsu and try to resist the effects repeatedly. In all, Kei felt like he'd learned quite a bit. The lesson cleared something else up for him too. The shinobi arts were in an amazing balance. Genjutsu utilized chakra to influence the opponents mind. Taijutsu utilized chakra to influence the users body. Ninjutsu utilized chakra to manipulate the world around the user. In a sense, the three ninja arts were in a perfect mind-body-spirit harmony. He mulled over this as walked out of the class.

"Thanks for the lesson Sensei. Later." With that he left the classroom, headed home. He needed to make a mental note to learn that Cancelling jutsu.

Let go of my hand
Is it time to go?
I'm not ready to turn my back on you yet
I'm not going to let you down
Kimi
Kimi listened intently as their sensei went through everyone's
questions. Sabaku seemed slightly confused as to how exactly it worked.
Clarification was always appreciated, even if not necessarily needed. He
also told them about how it isn't foolproof. It was disappointing, but
at the same time, she figured that was how it would be. He mentioned
bloodlines, and it got her thinking. She knew that some people were
given different jutsu abilities through their blood, but she had no idea
how one would even go about finding out if their family held such potential.
Shrugging it off, she then listened rather intently as he explained how
Genjutsu itself worked. As he was doing that, he also, whether inadvertently
or not, told her a little bit about the other types of jutsu as well. She
was just starting to realize that she didn't seem to know as much about jutsu in
general as everyone else did. She kept her face neutral, not wanting to betray
her lack of knowledge, waiting patiently for him to get to her question. She
was the odd one? It made her laugh. It would almost seem as though he was
the odd one out of the bunch. He then answered her question in much the
same way she expected he would. Simple hand motions with a lot of practice.
Of course, then he mentioned her violin playing, and a small blush rose along
her cheeks. Everyone seemed to love her music. She didn't really know what
to think of it. He then offered the entire class to teach them some actual
Genjutsu, and Kimi nodded, keeping it in mind. It was always good to know
someone to go to if she had any questions.

The Genjutsu that was keeping them suspended in some sort of strange black world
faded, the real room coming into view. She looked at him in confusion...he
certainly didn't seem to be in the best of shape. Neverless, he dismissed the class,
and she nodded. "Thank you!" she said. She threw her violin
casually across her shoulder, following Kei out the door with a wave.
Bridges will fall from under us
But we are strong
We'll get through this
The earth will open up
And try to pull us in
But we'll get through this
