Flashback said:The feeling of crisp, cool air met Kaen's naturally unnatural hot skin as he entered the Omni Prime facility. Having just returned from the gates, as well as stopping by customs and migration, a yellow manila envelope was held in his off hand. After checking with reception he would walk down the tiled hallway towards the room where Chi was supposed to be recovering in. With a light knock on the door would slowly slide the door open and draw back the privacy curtain. Hopefully Chi was decent enough and was resting nicely in bed. Hopefully also finding some comfort and peace with her desert wounds healed, or well on their way towards it. "I have your immigration paperwork. It's mostly filled out, just needs a few signatures." Kaen would start as he entered the room with a smile on his face, keeping his promise to return to her after leaving her in the care of Dr. Tama.
Present day at the Shinku estate...
"Chikara!" He wasn't used to having to yell out for anyone's name, at least not here. Since it was built Kaen was the sole Shinku that resided in the large estate Lord Sousuke had provided for himself and his sister, Kasen. She, Kasen that was, had came in when it was finished, looked around for a little bit and promptly decided she would not be staying here and stubbornly kept her beach house. He was thoroughly convinced that it would take a small army to wrench that property away from her, and so he didn't fight it. He kinda enjoyed the quiet to be honest, or at least he did until recently. With Hato now living with him, or at least having a room to come to should he care to, made it not as eerily quiet. And now with the addition of Chi, there was no grim silence looming throughout the halls of his estate. Lavish lifestyles was never anything he sought after, but it was nice all the same. "CHI! Where are yo--." Quickly cut off by the sudden appearance of Chi's stark visage he would pinch the bridge of his nose. "For the last time, Chi, you can't just walk around the house naked. You understand that Hato, the nine year old, lives here too right?" Honestly, this cultural barrier was proving to be perplexing.
