Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Hmm...perhaps he spoke a bit to quietly...or perhaps he was a bit better in concealing his intensity then he thought. or maybe the year he was away made them not really think much of him... he could see they did have pressing matters to attend to, going straight for the core of the beast. And it seemed that the team didn’t take much time to form. Including a Shinobi he didn’t know from seeing, but seemed to be close to intent on assisting Sousuke as much as he could. Heh...it was good to know someone was there to watch Sousuke when he was gone... But the thought someone needed to step in for hat was much less pleasant. After a moment he actually noticed Sousuke looking at him...a blank stare...did he recognize him...was he ready to actually speak with one of the people he abandoned without notice?

Still, as they went for the core, Haru hesitated in joining them. Partly cause of the exhaustion of traversing the desert, and the fight taking its tole...part of him worried whether he could have contracted the dieses...and perhaps he wasn’t as ready to meet his friends as he thought. Not yet. A cowards way out...maybe. But this was something he felt he could afford to be a bit of coward about. With the way thing were going, he'd have a lot of chances to not back down in the face of death for sure. he deiced to heed the call of the Medical Chief (who he also could not recall meeting before...as strange as that could have been) and get himself checkup...he was hurt by the wyrm, the last thing they needed in a mission deep into the monster was him not being at his best...be it physically or mentally.

As Takeyashi closed the distance between himself and the massive worm, he saw its final moments slip by. The worm had been quelled, and the people were safe. Relieved that no one had gotten hurt, Takeyashi continued forwards so that he could aid in the clearing of the remains. Many shinobi and workers from the village had amassed around the carcass of the massive beast, doing what they could to remove the tons upon tons of flesh and meat. As for Takeyashi, he did his part to clear up the remains while also snagging some materials that he could recycle. Carapace plates, as light as a feather and yet as tough as steel, were procured from the beast to be made into arm and shin guards. The sinews in the beast's muscles would make for an excellent bowstring, and the sinewy skin could be fashioned into a durable piece of camouflage cloth. The young man would treat the materials he'd gathered latter that night, preparing them so that they'd be easier to work with. All in all, this day had been rather fortuitous for the young man.

Done.

Makoto had irradiated the area as best he could, hopefully sterilizing it until more permanent countermeasures could be enacted against the plague. Given that his chakra efficiency was back to normal, it hadn't even taken him too much of an effort aside from walking around the corpse.

Everyone else seemed to be departing as well, hopefully to go and get themselves checked out for the plague. Well, some of them were apparently running off down that big hole the worm had come from, and good luck to them on that. It seemed to him that it would be smart to get yourself checked for a potentially fatal disease before you decided to go do anything strenuous, but what did he know? That was sense talking, and hidden village nin clearly wanted nothing to do with that concept.

Nothing else for it, then--he could hardly not go and get himself checked out. Especially if the disease really was spread through contact; he'd definitely had contact with the thing, as had everyone else in the battle. It would be...unwise, not to.

He didn't have any intention of either dying from or incubating a plague, depending on his natural resistances, thank you very much.

So he quietly took his leave, heading in the direction of the impromptu medical area set up for this very purpose, stretching his arms above his head as he walked.

It had gone relatively well. It could have gone much worse.

But he really didn't think they were out of the woods yet.
